GOVERNMENT QUESTION OF THE DAY

Department of Defense employees must take written exams as part of their routine training. See if you can correctly answer the following question:

"Which of the following is an example of low-level terrorism?"

  • Attacking the Pentagon
  • IEDs
  • Hate crimes against racial groups
  • Protests

Any guesses? I bet you know where this one is going, don't you? That's right. Protests. Now we have the Defense Department telling their workers that protests are "low-level terrorism." Excuse me, but isn't there something in the Constitution about the right to "peaceably assemble?" And then there's something else about the right to "petition the government for a redress of grievances." Now we call these activities low-level terrorism? What does that make all you tea-party demonstrators from earlier this year? Low-level terrorists?

Do you feel comfortable with this? Not I!

What others are saying

  • low level terror
If government in the highest councils & magistricies is staffed by the type of malevolent character who would either reflexively or pharisaically declare people's assertion of their rights an instance of ANY sort of crime or offence whereagainst government is intitled to retaliate then we are beset by legions of mutinous personnel who have proven their amenability to the idea we have NO rights they are obliged to admit & respect & that our insistence on this nation's polity as a republic is prima facie evidence of our need of restraint, discipline, correxion or any other penalty that may be imposed. In other words they can behave as they wish & any objection we make thereto is by definition criminal; the totalitarian implications are plain & obvious. When tyranny comes their excuse can be they got nervous knowing we seriously suspected them of plotting tyranny.

Being presumed a violently radicalized prospective or at least ideational right populist domestic dissident terrorist 41 years after wishing the worst on America for the bovine electorate's stupid failure to elevate George Wallace to the presidency: I FN LOVE IT, THE INFERNAL SLUGS *RECOGNIZE* AT LAST! I always knew SOME thing would come of the Fulbright report & Reuther memorandum.

Did you guys know that George W. Bush and Jeb Bush have a younger brother? Neither did I. His name is Marvin Bush. He used to run a company called Securacom. Well it is interesting to note that Securacom ran security for the WTC during 9/11. After 9/11 the company changed its name to Stratesec. Do you think that it could be suspect that GW Bush's little bro was running the company responsible for the security of the WTC considering this document now exists...

Unplug your brains from the propaganda you are fed by the main stream media and from puppet Presidents and you will understand the threat we are facing. Soon this country will make the connection.
  • To everyone...
Just like I said before...there is much more to this than I have told you. I know the entire agenda. It goes beyond what most of you can even imagine. Almost everything going wrong in the world today all comes back to this agenda. The players involved are all connected. They are all spokes on the wheel. I wish I could just tell you everything, but I know that everyone is not ready for full disclosure. I am not even sure if I am ready to disclose the entire agenda myself. Knowing the truth is enough of a burden. The good thing about all this is that very soon within the next 3 years everyone will know the truth one way or another. That is all I can say about this.
  • To JoeShmoe
Of course it is plausible. Its not like "just cause we're Americans" this can't happen to us. Just look at what they are doing to us everyday that is completely unconstitutional yet they get away with it. Like these czars Obama is putting into place. While they are not unconstitutional in their actual creation they are unconstitutional because they circumvent Congress in most cases.

Our country has lied to get us into wars we should never have a part in. They do this to line the pockets of the Bilderbergers and other secretive groups. These groups have been using the strong arm of the United States military industrial complex to wage wars in foreign lands so they can loot the countries once the US has control. They have gotten very good at this. They have even figured out sneaky ways of lending money to entire countries and then basically forclosing on their natural resources at the expense of the native people who live off the land. These people are left completely destitute and since their country is broke they cannot do anything for them. It is actually quite sickening. Sure the US has done some awesome things for countries in the past and yes we are under-appreciated for it, but we have also done horrible things to countries world wide as well.
  • Hey, Copyleft-
I don't know where you live, but I live in the United States, and I love my country, my nation.
I'm not too fond of my government, though.
    They're not the same.
Did you feel the same way when the Republicans controlled the government as you do now?
    You blithering idiot.
  • protest=terrorism
sad that we protesters can be called terrorist, but radical Muslims who are killing us aren't.
  • REX 84
I believe everything Ivan presents here is absolutely plausible. The actions of the government thus far absolutely shows that they will do whatever the hell they want and will have, maybe already have, enough power to do just that up to and including eliminating anyone that stands up to them. Looks to me that the preparations that are being made are a neon sign that 'they' will be ready to suppress any opposition to 'them', good, bad, or indifferent. Now, if that does come to pass, they will absolutely have to pry my weapons from my cold dead hands, but not until I've fought as hard and long as I can to help stop them, however futile. I will not accept being forced to live under a dictatorship. Who's with me?
I don't expect copy and his ilk would be.

IVAN. all you say is believable but..........

    where are these cemetaries, camps?

I don't want to believe it but.......

    maybe they will obey.......
  • Guys...Just ignore Copyleft
I am sure that some of you have already tuned me out cause I shake your faith in our leadership and talk of sinister conspiracies, but Copyleft is just trying to get you upset by attempting to push your buttons. In other words he is a HUGGGGE troll. That crap doesn't work on me cause I hate both parties with absolute disgust and contempt. Just ignore him and he will go away. The partisan bs he peddles is so mindless I sometimes look at his comments crosseyed to see if that will help me understand his warped point of view. He is wrong about literally everything, but that doesn't surprise me knowing his ideology. He just needs to stop snorting his Koolaid mix.
  • I say..................
    all of the above.

    or is it C.?

he/she gets your blood pressure sky high so O2 gets to the brain so you can do "sum tinkin'" he/she is a great american.

  • yes they can.........................
I saw this in a movie once or twice, the actor said "they can't kill/arrest us all!"

damn that was a good movie! and YES THEY CAN!!!

    here's how it works...........
with a few key strokes on a gubmint computer your checking, credit card and any other financial account is frozen. so no atm for cash to buy gas, you must learn to walk again. your address is posted at the local police/sheriff post along with a horrible picture (worse than the one on your drivers license) and you are listed as a threat to the u.s. or as a child molester.

if you own any guns, they know. if you resist you are gunned down. don't believe me? look at what happens in nyc and la all the time. stop! police!bangbangbang. or i'll shoot! bangbang.

can you prove I'm wrong or krazy?

Thats funny that you seem to love Obama, but hated Bush. Bush was doing exactly what Obama is doing now only to a lesser extent. Obama is Bush term 3 on steroids. Now THAT is scary knowing what we know now about the Bush administration.

...There are actually locations in Georgia that are holding hundreds of thousands of coffins made of plastic. Each coffin can hold about 4 full sized adults. Rex 84 outlines ALL of this and more. The scary part is that all of the pieces are in play at the moment to make this a full on reality. Obviously there is more to Rex 84 that includes weapon confiscation etc. etc. but I am not going to try to post all of it. The parts that I did should frighten the dickens out of you. I know a lot of you don't think that our government would kill American citizens, but I think you'd be wrong about that because after all they do want to control us from cradle to grave. Hell the government is trying to get into the healthcare business. They obviously want to dictate who lives and who dies.
  • To butt neckid
There really are some things I should not bring up here, but I will give you a little tid bit to sink your teeth into...currently there are mass graves being built all over the country in and around some of our military cemeteries. There are flatbed trucks delivering HUGE cement containers on a daily basis to these locations. These containers are much different than the normal crypts that are used for military burials. They are big enough to fit 4 coffins stacked one on top of the other. They are being put in the ground butted up against each other rather than allowing space in between each one like they normally do. They have been building these mass graves for months all over the country. The estimates for how many could be buried in these new crypts are already in the tens of thousands and that is if they stacked 4 coffins per crypt. If they were to just toss bodies into the containers the number they could hold would be much higher. Locals in the areas of the country where these crypts are being built have asked the people in charge of the military cemeteries what is going on and every single one is giving a scripted answer. Basically they are claiming that these crypts are for soldiers killed in action in the middle east. That makes no sense cause as far as I know only a little over 5,000 troops have been killed so far in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have built WAYYYY more crypts than that and most of the dead in Iraq have already been long buried.

All of this is connected to Rex 84. Rex 84 is basically a plan in place that FEMA would use in the case of a National Emergency that threatened the very foundation of our government. Rex 84 gives FEMA the ability to do whatever they deem necessary to maintain a level of governance in an emergency including imprisoning and killing civilians that threaten National Security. Now of course they are not killing civilians yet, but they have put in place locations all over the United States where people could be held in a national emergency. Groups on the Internet are calling these locations FEMA camps. Glen Beck actually tried to do a show about the FEMA camps and he said that he was UNABLE to debunk the FEMA camps. Later that night for his LIVE airing of his show he completely changed his tune. Someone got to him in that short time. The FEMA camps exist and so do the trains that will be used to take people to the camps. Some of the FEMA camps have never before used ovens...just big enough to push a coffin through it. I know to some this sounds like just pure craziness. Trust me I know. If it is just pure paranoia then someone should be able to step forward and explain all this. No one is stepping forward...continued

  • Re: damifino: “secret ballot voting”
It does make you wonder why they wanted “card check” so much..

Did they want this to set a precedent to get rid of the secret ballot in elections? And not just a payoff to the union goons.

Let's say they decide that there's too much voter fraud out there[precipitated by ACORN and others]
So what do they do about it – certainly not checking photo identification – that would make too much sense.
No, instead they decide to shelve the secret ballot to get rid of this 'problem'

Call it the “Voter Freedom Act” of 2010....
  • Do you O'crap voters understand the import of that little quiz?
I'll spell it out for you – Your government is starting to consider the Citizens of this nation to be the enemy.

Maybe they haven't gone all the way there YET, but it's a dangerous trend none the less.
  • Good news for America
Now that they're out of power, the far-right wingnuts can go back to hating government (i.e., America) with a cler conscience. This is excellent!

They get what they want--an enemy to gripe about. And America benefits from seeing what anti-American scum the government-haters really are, ensuring that they lose even MORE elections.

Everybody wins! Thank you, Neal. I know how painful it was for you to set aside your "government is evil" routine even temporarily in order to kowtow to the Unitary Executive who promised to keep you safe. It really hurt your libertarian "street cred," but everybody knows your listeners don't actually care about libertarian ideas anyway. They just want tips on how to hate Democrats more effectively.

But now King George is gone! And the new administration is full of Democrats! Yay! Keep on ranting while we run the country.... (chuckle)
  • Domestic Terrorism definition
    (5) the term “domestic terrorism” means activities that—
    (A) involve acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State;
    (B) appear to be intended—
    (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
    (C) occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States.

A peaceable protest satisfies two of the three criteria. If a few of the protesters become violent (with each other or with law enforcement) then all three criteria are satisfied.
  • when will the other shoe drop????????
last night I went over the posts and took notes. some disturbing things popped into my lil' mind. let me share...

some are hinting that they know something but they can't tell....sounds kinda like 3rd grade.

I looked at REX-84 could be scary and violent but why not discuss here? too small an audience?

how about dr. doom, what can he bring to the table, I need to do more studying on this one, oh, dr. doom is Peter Schriff.

so there is a hint of conspiracy theories floating on the internet air. is the gubmint planning to confiscate our guns and ammo? well that's no secret.

martial law coming? with the house slave in public housing and gubmint worker ant obeying his every word....uuuuuuuuummmmmmmm..... could be.

one more lil' thought........in the uk the other day a blogger has lost his anonymity, by court order. I do hope you all are smart enough to realize that we americans do not have privacy. someone somewhere knows your every move. don't believe me? then I just wasted several seconds of my time.

this is for RED LEADER, sorry to single you out. you said we have to ride it out, but you didn't expand on that thought, or I'm a dumbass and missed it. if you were talking of the mess our gubmint is creating yep you're correct and we really don't get a choice 'cept sewerside or riding it out. there is a third choice......leave the stinking mess behind and move to another stinking mess.

for the gubmint edukated sewerside= suicide=kill yourself, vote for the incumbent, vote for osamabama, vote for higher taxes.

I am a non believer, so for all you fine believers pray for deliverance from this evil in public housing, throw one in for me too. please.

  • the near future of low level terrorism......
...secret ballot voting...and listening to talk radio(not a joke)the patriot act started as a useful tool but like a gun in the wrong hands, becomes a opressive nightmare.
  • Protests
Remember, however, what some people call protests, I call riots. The Rodney King "protests" were in fact a form of terrorism. The problem is equating peaceful protests (tea parties) to these thuggish outbursts of violence. This is not new. This is just the latest outrageous example.
  • FYI
I havae taken the test everyone is talking about. There is a bit of a problem with the context. The anti-terrorism test that has this question is designed for overseas travel, not for travel in the US. The protests this test is talking about are protests happening overseas. Now, that said I still think that its not a correct question to be asking unless its is country specific. A protest in Beruit is going to be much different (and a lot less safe for Americans) than one in Paris, Berlin or London. This is just an example of a poorly thought out question. Of course, the ACLU lawyer who got a copy of this test certainly didn't dig any to see that.
  • well...
..America is at the point now where they consider following the basic rule of law to be a radical act. Getting the illegals out for instance. I mean honestly Thomas Jefferson if he were alive today would probably be considered a radical. Fascism is alive and well in America, and lets not kid ourselves, it started with Komrad Bush and is being continued by Chairman Teleprompter.
  • Low Level Terrorism
I suppose henceforth, any criticism of Obama will be classified as "Attempted Assassination"
  • neal
your just mad cuz they didn't include talk radio personalities in there.
  • Neal you are starting to get it...
The government knows that the economy is about to completely collapse. They are taking all precautions. Hell they even got the WHO to declare Swine Flu a level 6 threat. Isn't that convenient? Now they can confine you in your homes and keep you away from public places and from meeting with groups of people (in protest?). All they have to do is say that there is a Swine Flu related hazard and they can do whatever they deem necessary to "keep us safe". So now if I go protest (i.e. Teabaggers) I am considered a Right-Wing Extremist Terrorist who is violating international law for a breach of WHO quarantine? That is just amazing. Obama has also been talking about "preventative detention". Wow...so they will hold those of us who they think "could" possibly be a threat to them in the future for longer durations in prison. Um I don't care what a single one of you think about this to be honest cause this is straight up FASCISM. Do you guys understand that our government has declared war on us? They have actually done it. This is not America. This is Nazi Germany.
  • Government DOD Exams
...and you can bet that there is going to be a separate (and probably much easier) exam for Hispanics.
If there isn't one, somebody is going to cry foul.
Just like the guy who reported he was at the DMV taking his written exam and noticed a Hispanic female taking her written exam which was in Spanish and mostly just pictures - not so many words.
Since you can't pass the real drivers exam in English, we will make sure you can pass by giving you one in Spanish with mostly pictures.
And, nooooo - you don't have to prove you are here legally to get a DL - we won't ask you to verify that (unless you are Caucasian).

Oooo! The greengo - hees got a beeg gun!
  • Shameful
It's shameful that our gov't groups nonviolent protestors in with militant terrorists. This trend began with John Ashcroft and the PATRIOT Act. They used to spy on librarians, anti-war protestors, and tree huggers.
  • Terrorists
I do believe that the government is actually succeeding in turning Americans into amoebas.
