It may be a bit boring, but here's a story you should read if you want to understand the wonderful things that await us as government runs more and more of American business. If you think that our government has done a wonderful job with Social Security, the VA and Medicaid, just wait until they run a business near and dear to you.

Since the GOP has no new ideas, here's one: The national party cannot suppport a candidate running for office that will not agree to a "no earmarks" pledge. If they violate this once in office the party will subsequently pull support for re-election.

I don't know if this is true or not but I read somewhere that the infamous Mustang Ranch in Nevada was taken over by the FG for tax evasion. It is my understanding the FG couldn't even run the 'business' and it failed. My goodness. If they can't run an extremely profitable whore house, what makes them think they can run GM? Any way, it's a humorous thought.

Who is surprised by this? For a professor of Constitutional Law he seems hell bent for leather to ignore or trash it. Fiat is only alive because it extorted billions from GM around Y2K and the Italian government protecting it's champion. Remember the anacronism for Fiat (Fix It Again Tony). The cars are crap and so small most americans could not fit in them. You think Chrysler had quality issues wait until you get into a NEW CHRYSLER/FIAT. Best of all they get big interest in the company with NO CASH INFLUX. Shades of Il Duche!

This "do it now" attitude really has me ticked. I went to the Congress.org site to send a nasty email about getting tired of them voting on crap they haven't read. While I was there noticed a link to LaRaza about stopping the critisms of Sotomayor. How is that appropriate for a congressional website? Anyway, off topic there. We need to demand they start reading before voting, they might have reconsidered a lot of this crap.

Its stories like this that have changed my brother = wife's support of obama. When they told me that I had to run outside to see if it was snowing in June. Seems the country is getting very upset with the socialism being imposed upon them. Obama wont make another term, hopefully he drags the rest of the looters with him. Plus the youtube video of bush in 01 warning the congress that if things didnt change we were headed for an economis crisis.
