  • Men who marry older women die earlier. If they marry women about 15 years younger than they are they live longer... OK ... if the science is correct, can men who marry an older women counteract those affects by just having a little fling with a younger woman once in a while? "Look, honey. You want me around for a long time, don't you?" Hey ladies. Let me know if that would work for you.
  • Tried to talk Belinda into a couples massage after the show today. She declined. Biatch.
  • I want a plaque. Look ... if they can name highways around the Atlanta area for every hack politician who has ever served in any capacity around these parts ... I can have my plaque. I want that plaque in the sidewalk where I stepped off that Greyhound bus in 1967, "On July 2, 1967, Neal Boortz stepped off a Greyhound Bus and began his conquest of Atlanta." Contributions being accepted.
  • Do you spell "plaque" the same way for a commemorative display as you would for that stuff you scrape off your teeth?
  • Levin .. what a stud. 11 out of 12 weeks at No. 1 on the NYT Bestseller's list. Looks like I'll be on his radio show tonight. Big time here I come.
  • PrezBO says that health care costs (insurance costs) affect business competitiveness in this country. Is he kidding me? These corporations merely deduct those costs from what they would otherwise be paying their employees. How in the wide wide world of government does this reduce business competitiveness? Look at corporate income taxes if you're looking for a cause.
  • If not a plaque I'll hire a homeless person to stand there with a sign.
  • Would our history have changed if they had put Nelson Rockefeller's shoes on the right foot?

What others are saying

  • Older men, younger women
You're only as old as the the woman you feel
  • "Biatch"? This is where we are now?
  • Randomness
Ok, so I don't always check the nuze for the afterthoughts. Are they always this random? I love it. Definitely put a smile on my face. And wilson007, no reason to make comments like that. Why don't you post your pic for everyone to see so we can judge you?
  • Neal, you need to apologize to Belinda.
    You're pulling a Letterman here.

    This isn't funny.
  • Marrying younger as Affirmative Action
When I was 40, I married a 24-year old woman. I didn't really want to, but it's the only way I could show my support for diversity and my disdain for age discrimination...
  • Men and older women
Asked my wife about it when I read your afterthought. Can't quite remember the answer, doctor says it might be that the memory might come back when the concussion heals.
  • health care
Will all members of the congress, executive and judicial branches be in the new health care plan?
Why are the unions the only people that can opt out of the health plan?
  • incredible twit
I am thankful that I have dogs not daughters. She needs a good old fashion spanking. If I had acted that way at home, I would had to stand up for days.
  • hire the homeless
I think you should actually hire a few homeless people to stand around urban areas with a Neal Boortz sign (with the proper local radio station) and some catchy phrase to lure em' in.

When I first heard this show it was very refreshing. Not just anti-Democrat (like Hannity, etc) but anti-big government.

There are plenty of people who would listen to this show - they just don't know about it.

I still anguish when I look at the 2008 Presidential results for which the Libertarian Party only received about half a million votes. I apologize for being off topic...it just gets me.
  • Plaques
Your comment about the plaque reminded me of how angry it makes me to imagine the amount of $$$ it costs to name roads, interchanges, buildings and other public places after politicians. What's even more irritating is some are named after sitting, active politicians, thereby requiring taxpayers to foot the bill for "campaign" signs! Let's talk about saving money and this is a good place to begin...

I believe the state law should be these things only be named after heros! That would be men and women killed in action, firemen and law enforcement people killed in the line of duty. I could even go so far as to accept politicians who have performed exemplary service but only posthumously!
  • Corporations don't PAY for health care...you do!
"My former employer paid half the monthly premium - that's how it can affect competitiveness. That's why COBRA premiums are usually a nasty surprise for many discharged employees."

Oh, they may SAY they are paying for it, but believe me, it goes into the column involving overhead, and affects profit margin. What if they weren't paying for that? They could probably attract more talent having a little money to pay out.
  • Older Women
Say what you will, but many older women have a quality I find irresistable...desperation!
  • Cowboy Up
I've heard about chubby-chasers but older women???? WTF is wrong with you?

A perfect woman for any man is half his age plus 7 years. I don't know where I heard that, but it's a rule I've adopted (does not apply to 20 year-old men).
  • women who marry older mer
Only if they carry HUGE amounts of insurance!
  • plaques
You spell it the same as the gunk on your teeth. But when I hit the 15-year mark here at work, and couldn't make the ceremony, I got a memo to come over to HR and pick up my "plague." Is that what they mean by "terminating" someone? I came over wearing a face mask.
  • health insurance
my former employer paid half the monthly premium - that's how it can affect competitiveness. That's why COBRA premiums are usually a nasty surprise for many discharged employees.

Anyway, aren't you the guy who said that corporations "collect taxes, not pay 'em"

You DO sound better on FM.
  • Women who marry older men
The kind of 40 year old man who could attract and marry a 25 year old woman is probably pretty healthy. It's all about competition. If the 40 year old can compete sexually with the younger guys, he's probably in good shape.
  • I'm doomed, lol.
I've always preferred older women. I thought it might change as I got older, but it hasn't. Oh well, at least I'll die happy.

I never turn down a massage, as long as it's by someone that knows what they're doing. If they are doing it right, you're not thinking about s*x. I guess yall are talking about a different kind of massage.
  • this study
