Is Obama waging a war against talk radio?  Dick Morris seems to think so.

 

A union leader predicts that there will eventually only be three or four major carmakers left worldwide and six million unionized workers will be unemployed.

 

Transportation Secretary Ray Lahood says that he wants to "coerce people out of their cars."  Just what we need, government officials dictating behavior.

 

Just what we need, another Obama czar.  The next czar is going to be a "cyber czar" who will have broad authority to develop strategy to protect government-run and private computer networks.

 

It is only a matter of time before the government gets a hold of your menu and cuts out high carbon food.  It's already happening in Great Britain.

 

The EPA admits that the Democrat plans to institute a cap-and-trade policy would damage the U.S. manufacturing sector and force jobs to move overseas.

 

If Obama had to emulate one president in history .... this would not be it.

 

Here's a real shocker ... Iran's Ahmadinejad rejected a Western proposal for it to "freeze" its nuclear work.

 

A lawmaker from right here in Georgia wants to end the policy of "birthright citizenship."

 

This was by far the most emailed story to the Boortz Show over the long weekend: Man pushes would-be suicide off bridge.

    And by the way, "Czar" basically means "dictator", so THE EVIL ONE is setting himself up to be Dictator of Dictators by apointing so many czars.
  • Birthright citizenship
    Birthright citizenship should be done away with and even made retroactive to the year 2000 at least.
  • Automatic citizenship in the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
    Did anyone actually read Mr. Deal's H.R. 698? It is dubious on many grounds. (1) Jurisdiction. The bill is saying United States has no jurisdiction on United States soil. (2) It is against equal protection clause, in that it only confers citizenship to a child whose *mother* is citizen of United States. Furthermore, it explicitly exclude common law marriage through the "out of wedlock" clause. This means Tiger Woods' kids may *not* be U.S. Citizens, if their mom is not U.S. citizen (almost certain) and not U.S. permanent residents (maybe). (3) Legal precedents. The bill tries to amend U.S. Constitution by redefining terms in the our Constitution and legal precedents do not apply. Isn't this the same as the so called liberals' evolving constitution? If you want to change constitution, go through required procedure.

    Time for a new real conservative party.

    Unfortunately, N. Korea and Iran have both figured out (quickly) that we have a spineless president in the person of Obama the clown. The good news is that the Israeli PM also knows this and is quite prepared to take matters into his own hands re: Iran's nuke program.

    What took 3 years for Jimmy Carter to achieve (the weakening of American power and influence) has taken Prez Obozo only 100 days. Congratulations, dimocrats.

    Of course hussein’s using the power of his office to wage war against his critics, like talk radio. He’ll also sic the IRS on his critics, like wild bill did. The msm won’t say much, if anything, unless the GOP ever tries it.

    That union leader is dreaming. The Korean auto industry is just hitting high gear and the chicom auto industry is just getting off the ground. What he’s saying is there probably won’t be any US auto companies soon. He’s about done “collective bargaining” his ‘clients’ out of their industry.

    Coercing us out of our cars is change we can believe in. Telling us where to set the thermostat, what to eat, drink, what to do for recreation, and what we can produce or do for a living will come soon, with socialized medicine and the dp energy starvation policy. Most of the country will have to get used to a much lower standard of living.

    Iran will be next to test a nuke unless Israel does the world a favor yet again. Japan will quietly start building nukes, ICBMs, and an ABM system in response to lil’ kim, and there are over a half dozen more countries that can and likely will go nuclear within 6 years. Hussein and the dp have already made that an imperative for them. I hear the UN will draft a stern nonbinding resolution, that’ll show lil’ kim. That’s okay, he’s got something to sell, and so will Iran, pretty soon. It won’t be long before a ‘stateless’ group buys or is given one or more and sets them off. This is one of those Rhineland moments in history.

    Too bad there was an airbag under that attention case on the chicom overpass. If you’re ever caught in one of those jams around Atlanta and you hear somebody yelling, “Jump you wussy,” or “Bet you a hundred bucks you can’t do a one and a half gainer,” that’s probably me.
  • Obama emulating Cater on N Korea
    I'd love to see this diplomatic message sent to Kim Jong Il: "If you do ONE more test regarding ICBM's, or nuclear weapons, then the last thing your earthly body will ever experience will be closer than you ever want to be to a nuclear weapon. Ask you neighbor Japan if we are serious." Won't happen though, and it's a shame.
  • Light Rail
    Ok, I understand the whole "dictating our behavior" thing, but seriously some cities need a mass transit system to ease the traffic burden. My home Va. Beach for example. A decent light rail system would clear things up nicely. Expanding highways doesn't work, we tried that. The traffic volume only expands to fill the new lanes, then it gets blocked up again. Buses sit in the same traffic as everyone else. You need a separate system that isn't constrained to the roads.

    Now, having the Fed institute this? NO! Let states, or more appropriately cities, decide if they want to implement a mass transit system.

    When we arrive at the point where we import all our cars and most of our other manufactured goods from China and other countries, I wonder what we're going to export to pay for this stuff. American pay rates are going to have to drop quite a bit to make American labor competitive with Chinese and Indian labor. Neither party can do anything to change that hard fact. I wish Neal would occasionally step back from the daily trivia to take a look at long-term fundamentals like this

    Soon the US economy will fail and the world will no longer have to deal with us anymore. The powers that be are at the controls now and they are steering the US toward total collapse. These countries with nukes know that all they have to do is hold off a bit longer and then they will not have to worry about the US bullying them about nukes. That said though I do not like Iran and NK having nukes. These guys really want a reason to use them.

  • Lolz to UAW
    I'm confident the goal of the UAW leadership was success and fortune for the UAW leadership. Always has been, and will be until they've driven their hosts into bankruptcy. They will then retire wealthy with excellent retirement plans. (Unless they end up like Hoffa.)

    The workers, no longer able to provide for their leaders, will be left to populate the unemployment rolls and vote Democrat, as they will be unable to feel they're responsible for their own success. They're Sheeple that have been shorn and are now left in the field to fend for themselves.

    The UAW is like a cancer that kills it's own host. Rather than move on like a disease could, they'll simply go to Cancer Heaven.
  • On Ahmadenijad...
    Has the U.S offered to freeze its nuke program? Would the U.S trust a government that had a hand in overthrowing its govt in the past? Does the U.S have nukes? If you were the leader of a country and the only country that has used nukes to kill people asked you to stop making nukes...do you trust them? Particularly when they give corrupt dictator governments in your region money when they themselves have nukes(Pakistan)?

    Just straight forward logical questions that cannot be avoided and MUST be asked every last single solitary time that Iran is mentioned, if indeed people have their brains turned on. I don't know why Neal doesn't take a stab at answering them. Maybe because he knows he would try to operate outside of the laws of logic and evidence to do so.

    Lets wake it up a bit in here this morning conservatives, Boortz is rejecting conservatism to side with the leftist big govt neo-con Patriot Act cockroaches who are bankrupting this nation on this one, as he usually does with his naievity on foreign policy matters. Neal please come back to the conservative side rather than going left/world police on foreign policy.

    Always remember the same people telling us Iran is a threat are the same ones who REFUSE to close the border and get the illegals out. If there really was some type of war on terror going on then shut the border and stop giving terrorists a rally point in the middle east with U.S military presence on their soil. Its time to start rejecting Neal on this pro govt growth/world police stuff.

  • Citizenship
    "Birthright citizenship" is a policy, not a constitutionally mandated guarantee. Ending this stupid policy is a worthy goal.

    And, did anyone notice that the ACLU hack quoted in the article thinks that inalienable rights are bestowed by the government? And so it goes...
