If you missed this column from George Will, read it ...  "Tincture of Lawlessness: Obama's Overreaching Economic Policies."

Have you been following this little brouhaha  between Nancy Pelosi and the CIA?

I've been saying this for years, but maybe this time it will get through to you ...  People lose jobs when the government decides to hike the federal minimum wage.

The Obama administration is now considering plans to detain some terror suspects on U.S. soil  indefinitely and without trial.

Here's a real shocker ... Arlen Specter says that he is  willing to compromise on the card check bill.  It's all about staying in power, folks.

Obama says that our  current deficit spending "unsustainable."  Gee, ya think?  So what is he doing about ... spending more taxpayer money.

Two Congressmen have proposed a bill to  punish satellite companies that carry channels that are mouthpieces for known terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas.

According to this column in the Wall Street Journal, Organized labor has become by far the most powerful political force in government.

The infamous DHS report about right-wing extremists has been withdrawn and is being rewritten.

The House has approved legislation to spend $6.4 billion to make our government schools more "green."

Republican Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann is asking Congress to block ACORN's access to federal housing funds.

Obama is expanding his mortgage aid program to help homeowners avoid a foreclosure if they don't qualify for other assistance.

If the Antarctic ice were to melt, the amount the sea would rise  has been grossly over-estimated.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided that he wants to generate more revenue for his state by selling off state-owned properties.

Miss California is going to be a FOX News babe.  She definitely fits the bill.

  • Green schools
    Billions to make our schools green, just what they need. My daughter's school just cancelled football and fast-pitch softball. She is smart enough to realize that the schools are wasting money on fun things for the teachers to have and cutting out the things the kids really need and want. How about if we actually spend some education money on the children for a change, not the goodies for the adults.

    Specter changing parties was a win-win for Republicans. They can nominate a more conservative candidate and if he wins, great. If not, Specter may at least keep a loonier Dem out of the Senate.

    With the Republican Party apparently thinking that the cure for losing to a leftist is to put the looniest of the loony Right in charge, the only thing that can save America from total Pelosi-ism is conservative Democrats. Who'd a thunk it?

    May 14 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama, calling current deficit spending “unsustainable,” warned of skyrocketing interest rates for consumers if the U.S. continues to finance government by borrowing from other countries.

    “We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”

    OMG - This is lunacy - An OxyMORON. The chief lutter and king saying we can 't borrow and spend???? THis is comical. The audacty of this man.. like the drunken DUI driver saying; "well if you drink don't drive"

    The problem is you could include CNN and MSNBC in that list. We need Aljazeera broadcast into the U.S. so people can hear from those that want to kill us directly.     I can't help but to think this is step one in further and maybe even drastic confiscation of wealth from Americans. Maybe even as much as literal confiscation over high taxes. Call me paraniod. This president is showing no care for rule of law and free-market principles. His adminstration and the mindless minions who worship the grown he walks on had no problem getting out the pitch forks over bonuses. Obama had no problem calling rightful creditors of the auto manufacturers as being greedy and suggesting they should surrender their assets to his whim. What's to stop him of building up the ire of his legions to literally demand the wealthy surrender their wealth over this....?
