Gina Marie Incandela was diagnosed as autistic at age 2. Teachers at her school discovered that music helped her learn. It also uncovered her gift. She went from not being able to speak at 3 to singing the National Anthem at sporting events at 7. And what a voice!

What others are saying

  • Did she have to do it in "urban yodeling" style?
  • Awesome
That was amazing! God bless her & her family!
  • Gina Maria
Thank you for sharing. It was very moving.
  • @ Brian
"Anyone else notice that the "professional" sports players hardly ever put their hand over their heart when the National Anthem is sung?"

Actually, I'd say they aren't because the two players in the shot aren't American. I don't salute their flags, I don't expect them to salute mine.
  • Great Job
That was a great job by a special girl. Did anybody notice the look on the face of the cheerleader at the end?
  • The littlest singer Gina
God Bless America and God Bless that darling girl, Gina.
  • What a terrific performance
    Just Wow!

Well done young lady. Keep up the good work.
  • 7 year old singing
Holy Crap, she did a better job than most of the pop singer celebutards that attempt the national anthem.
  • Excellent!
What an amazing job this little girl did. Kudos to the teachers that had the patience to help her find this gift and the parents that encouraged her! Thanks for the uplift!
  • Gina Marie Incandela
Oh Man what a voice she has someone take her on america got Talent she be a hit and wow the crowd n the judges
  • Gina Marie Incandela
That brought tears to my eyes. 'Nuff said.
  • I can't believe it, you SOB
I can't believe you have this up on your site for me to see and listen to and figure out how to keep people from seeing me cry. Thank goodness most of them have left for lunch.

What an inspiration. I think I'll stop reading the nuze and just get back to work so I can leave for the weekend on a high note...just like that little girl.
  • NBA players
The girl did an amazing job.

Anyone else notice that the "professional" sports players hardly ever put their hand over their heart when the National Anthem is sung? I've only seen this done a couple of time by baseball players. Most other professional sports players don't pay respect to the flag.

This is why I am no longer a fan of pro sports.
  • School
I read the article at the link, it really didn't say but, it did say that she was sent to a special school. I'm just assuming it was private, as government schools don't care about autistic children. My grandaughter is one and the public school system sucks for her, so she goes to a private school
  • Awesome!!!
Makes me proud to be an American.
  • Autism
As the father of an Autistic non-verbal eight year-old boy, i just cried listening to little Gina sing. of course i always get choked up when i hear the national anthem but this is extremely poignant. thanks for bringing to our attention, these are special kids in so many ways.
