What others are saying

  • RE: Healthcare choice
Herman nailed it. "Rationing, Rationing, Rationing." It is causing us no shortage of grief up here in Canada and I hear that it's even worse in Britain.

First comes the universal healthcare (and all the social dem elation). This is followed shortly by the access to healthcare, elective or otherwise, being gradually restricted till only the people with the money to seek it outside of the country have any freedom of choice. It also drives doctors, GPs and specialists. out of the country.

Suicide bombers are a serious threat but these "Suicide Voters" are a much bigger one. If you think they have a religious devotion to the idea of universal healthcare now, wait till they get it.
  • Thank you!
I heard you for the first time as I tuned in to Neal today at noon. Great commentary & right on target on the health care reform. I will be watching and reading more from you!
  • Couple things I heard on the show
Finally, the gov't sees how 1099 is more work for them! And less money. I have no sympathy for an employer who wants an employee without any of the responsibility. Finally the government sees this for what it is , robbery. Lets look at this for what it is, its a contractor without a contract. Its a perfectly lousy position to be in when you are trying to collect your money. I've been there and done that.

Medicare/Health care. If vouchers seems like a good system for schools how about for health care? As to exactly how it would work I dont know but i just throw it out there.
  • boortz being gone
I have mostly quit boortz, I always listen when Herman is on.
You folks will have to listen to a week grand caynon stories when he gets back.
  • Hmpf
Neal is always taking vacations, no wonder he's like fourth in the ratings.
  • Heard a great show over the weekend...
Herman you made some great points and the whole segment when you were talking about how our founding fathers would be shocked at the state of things in this country was excellent. The stuff I was hoping you would get into is whether or not you think our President and Congress still has control of this government or not. I have been noticing over the past decade or more that it becoming blindingly obvious that our leaders seem to take orders from somewhere else. I have even seen many times where you will hear a politician take a position on an issue after much deliberation amongst their peers in their own party and then change their stance completely. Are there greater forces at work here? Is it just lobbyists or is it something else?
