Today in Washington, Republican leaders are meeting with Barack Obama. And one of the issues that is said to be on their minds is this unbelievable excuse for a Homeland Security director - Janet Napolitano. In fact, some are speculating that these Republicans will ask Barack Obama for Janet's resignation.

Not gonna happen .... It should, but it won't.

In the past couple of weeks, this woman has tried to defend a report from her department about right-wing extremists. She has declared that illegally entering this country is not a crime. Now her latest gaffe was to declare that the 9-11 hijackers came to the United States via Canada. And this is all within the last couple of weeks, folks. It is gonna be a long four years if she sticks around. Obama should just cut his losses while he can and get rid of this moonbat

By the way, according to 8 USC 1325, as amended in 1990, improperly crossing the border into this country is a crime. It's a misdemeanor on the first offense, and a felony if you do it a second time. Can you believe that our Director of Homeland Security .. and the former Governor of Arizona ... didn't know this?

    I think I heard someone blame this on Sarah Palin who said she knows all about immigration because she can see Mexico from her house. At least that's what I heard from a liberal earlier today.

  • I was willing to cut her some slack at first...
    ...hussein decides the policies, she just has to implement them(though hussein himself seems confused about that), and I could care less what she looks like(her job isn't to look good), but her gaffes and ignorance are turning out to be the norm, not the exception, and this is getting ridiculous.

    I wouldn't bet on the GOP doing anything but yelp, roll over, and play dead like they always do. At this point there's not much they could do about it anyway, even if they grew a pair.

    I can't help but notice our old friend Copyleft hasn't commented on this topic today. Hopefully he's clear now on what the law is and that Napolitano doesn't know enough about it to be in charge of homeland security.

    Yay Janet is a moron but Feinstein is a criminal. Talks FDIC into giving a contract to the company her husband works for. Contract to sell and manage till sold, assets bought by the FDIC. Funny thing, just before being awarded the contract, Mr. Feinstein bought 1,000,000 shares of his company. Hmmm, shares have gone up 40%. Fraud all the way around. Anything on the news? Course not.

  • She was a horrible Governor too
    She was a reactionary Governor, never proactive. She was told in 2003 that AZ was going to have it's fuel pipelines shut down for maintenance and to have a contingency plan in the event that something were to go wrong.

    Well, something did go wrong and she was rafting in the Grand Canyon and would deal with it when she got back. The pipelines sprung leaks and it took a month to fix instead of 3 days.

    She was supposed to have neighboring states ready to loan fuel and started that process after we had a 2 weeks of no fuel. That was a condition similar to the fuel shortage that Georgia had last year.

    Another debacle was the prison riot where the snipers had the prisoners that were in the tower and in control of the situation in sight. They were raping the female guards and she didn't give the order to shoot.

    We Arizonans know where she stands on immigration and now the country knows too.

    I think her 'domestic terrorist' paper stance has something to do with the fact that she was/is a repressed homosexual.
