Doesn't our new Homeland Security Director, Janet Napolitano, just give you a warm, nice, fuzzy secure feeling? I know that no matter how anxious I might feel about issues such as man-caused disasters (formerly "terrorism"), or the H1N1 virus (formerly "Swine Flu"), as soon as I see Janet addressing the issue I feel totally and completely secure. All hail PrezBO (PBUH) for this wonderful appointment.

Alert! @RollinsWallace on Twitter says that from now on the flu should be known as "Montezuma's Final Solution." I like it, though "Mexican Flu" does have a certain panache.

    What is funny is that most people will just say that this is BS. It can't happen in America right? Think again. It can and it will. I have never felt more let down in my life honestly. I am glad I have a family that loves me.

    Hate to be the a#$ to ask, but have we heard anything else about the poor kid that died? I've read he was recently in Mexico and I'm just wondering how he got to a hospital in Texas.

    Was it a Texan family on vacation that rushed home due to a sick child or was it a Mexican child that was rushed across the border for better medical care?

    I don't blame parents for trying to take care of their kid - that's their job - but it would kind of highlight the porous nature of our borders, wouldn't it?

    Shouldn't the head of national security be a Nazi about closing our borders? What is this moron's purpose? If she's going to be that incompetent, she could at least be attractive. At least that's the criteria I use when hiring.

    You beat me to it. I have been pointing that observation out to everybody Janet Reno and Janet Napolitano are both hideous. And both were/are incredibly bad at their jobs.

    When you look at the data and reports you can't help but notice something:

    Janet Napolitano is bystanding instead of being active.

    She gives the appearance of working the problem but is really pushing and pulling data around instead of working a plan.

    In my opinion her first mistake was not closing the Mexican border to slow or even halt the flow of additional N1H1 carriers. (I'm wondering if the child that died in Texas was from Mexico.)

    Janet Napolitano is operating very similar to Kathleen Blanco of Louisiana, and we can expect similar leadership skills...........and results.
