Yup .. the tattooed lady is off American Idol. Maybe she can find another way to make a good living with that arm full of graffiti. Gawd - if you woke up with that arm around you in the middle of the night you might think you had just done a trucker.

There .. now you have your American Idol news. Can we get back to something that might actually make a difference in your life?

What others are saying

  • A woman's opinion
yes, she is a very pretty woman, but that tattoo on her arm takes away it. All you see is that nasty arm. She has tattoos on her back, legs and even on the front of her feet. I just don't get it. I thought her tattoos and the fact she has a 2yr old and is from Utah was a bit of an oxymoron. I guess not all people from Utah express the Mormon faith.
  • I have to agre with Lil on this. Megan is the true winner, and she went out in her Songbird style. Anyone who thinks AI is a singing competition is sorely mistaken - it is a vote competition and always has been.

Megan Joy: the CAW'ing Songbird of AI
  • tats? what tats?
Funny...you keep saying Obama is the American Idol prez.

But when I heard you this morning talking to Capt Herb about the twit with tats etc....? I was like ?HUH? what's he talking about.

They finally realized you were talking about American Idol...then I quickly changed the radio station as I don't really care for that show, nor want to hear anyone else talk about it....

so neal...why the heck are you so interested in American Idol? I'm sure you aren't watching it, are you?

Or do you distaing it's existance, but can't help youself from knowign what is going on so you have to find out?

For the record, now that you bring it up and I've now googled her...and dang did I google on THAT! You owe me a cleaning bill on my comforter, before my wife finds this spot!
  • Tattoos
Great looking girl but with the complete story of world war two on her arm is a little distracting. Her level of talent was reached and now she is gone. Adios!!!!
  • hmmm
    I'd hit it.
  • lighten up
Did anyone else have trouble saying the title to this thread out loud???

    Admit it, made ya laugh.
  • I love tattoos, and they are definitely NOT a waste of "time...and good skin". They are an art, and not everyone has 666 and skulls tattooed all over them. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion I suppose.
  • Tattoo
I am sure her tattoos effect everyone's life.
  • AI and Tats
I don't think Neal or his family members watch American Idol. All you have to do is go to AOL.com or MSN.com or the like and you'll see a headline that Meghan was kicked off and a big picture of her next to that headline. Also, not everyone who watches Idol is an idiot. I watch every week -- along with CNN, Fox News, reading the newspaper, reading books, and working on the logo and designs for my father's business.

That being said, I have a lot of tattoos, all of which were thought out for at least one year in advance, and all of which get at LEAST one compliment a day. I get plenty of work and my modeling career skyrocketed because of them (and no, not trashy pics, either).

I know some people don't like them, but come on. Tattoos don't speak to a person's character or judgment -- unless that tattoo is something REALLY stupid and poorly done. Try talking to someone or getting to know them before judging.
  • American Idol?
What and who are you referring to Neal??

My respect for you is falling about as fast as messiahbamas popularity is, Sir.
  • tats
If I wake up with that arm around me, I just move down to the t_ts and enjoy the morning in bed
  • Tats or not, she's still hot
On her worse day she looks better than any trucker on their best day. One word, "Hot".
  • Tattoos
Tats on women is like Mamma saying:
"Don't touch that ... you don't know where it's been!"
  • huh?
I admit that the tattoos are at variance with her "girl next door" appearance - but Neal - she is smokin' hot either way.
  • Neal, check your glasses
I wonder if Neal has even seen a picture of this girl. If I woke up with her arm around me, I don't think I would be very upset... She is beautiful!
  • Neal come on dude
I think everyone that listens to you understands how you feel about smoking, tats and several other things but beating it in the ground doesn't do any good.
  • Tattoos
I never once said I thought Neal is saying there should be legislation against it. I'm just saying why would a person, who professes to love liberty and freedom, mock and try to shame others?

And to Stuart Pitt, the term libertarian has many meanings. Dean Russell wrote an article in the Foundation for Economic Education magazine in 1955 stating, "Let those of us who love liberty trademark and reserve for our own use the good and honorable word libertarian." Don't confuse modern libertarianism with early 19th century libertarianism.
  • tats
Tats are just a waste of time, money and good skin! What a discusting thing to do to your body.
  • Give me a break
I don't get it. I watch American Idol, I also watch an hour of news in the morning, Fox news; I listen to Boortz at least 2 to three hours a day; I listen to Rush the same amount and I listen to Sean on the way home from my 40-50-60 hour a week job. When you work in front of a computer all day and when you commute 1 hour each way, the radio is a savior. I go home and spend quality family time with my wife and 2 girls and I still manage to watch American Idol. It's good to have something stupid to watch after dealing with the antics of these wussified politicians and their no solutions to our biggest problems. Now most of you make it seem as watching such a show means that you've lost your mind on what is important to the world, and I say-give me a break! I call my senators and demand that they do what’s right by the people, and on this election coming up. I plan to be involved in the process of helping the candidate with the best plan to succeed be elected. When I die I'll be pleased to no end and I’ll have no doubt that I made this world a better place for my family and still had time to just sit back and be entertained by the ridiculous nature of what some call the music industry. Sometimes you just need to tune out the heavy and turn up the light.
  • Neal & American Idol
For starers, he spells his name Neal not Neil. 2nd, Neal, dude, I believe senility is creeping in. You are in a free fall on my respect-o-meter. For a guy who rails on about American Idol you seem to know what's going on on the show so it's safe to assume you, or someone in you family, watches it. Now, I agree with you that a majority of those who watch this show, or TV in general, don't have a clue on what's going on around them and if they voted at all, they voted for Obama because "everybody" was doing it. However, the best thing to do is ignore it. People enjoy the show. My wife and I watch it and we're very much involved with politics. But, let it go about American Idol. You're not going to change anyone's viewing habits and tying to do so isn't very Libertarian of you.
  • It's a good thing...
...that she has that tattoo, otherwise, as hot as she is, some poor sap might end up stuck with her. This way, there's no question about her poor judgement.
  • Sorry...
But Libertarian42, Neal is in no way saying there should be legislation against tattoos. Just because you have the freedom to do something does not mean you must be accepted by everyone else.
Neal stated his opinion over the internet so everyone could read it...so what? He isn't demanding that tattoo parlors be shut down.
  • Libertarian42
Why do you confuse a personal choice or personal preference with Libertarianism? Just because you recognize someone's legal right to graffiti their body doesn't mean you personally approve of them doing so.

You also need to learn to capitalize the "L" because a libertarian is an anarchist whereas a Libertarian is a member of the Libertarian Party.
  • For somebody so disparaging about American Idol, you sure do know a lot about what's going on. I'm pretty disparaging about it and all reality television - but I choose to not have cable or a TV tuner or expend any energy caring about it or other garbage on TV.

I looked the girl up - very tasteful 3/4 sleeve in the Japanese tradition. Looks a lot like my wife's. I have a tasteful half sleeve. We're both nearing 30 and have excellent white-collar careers with employers that don't care about trivial things like that.

I'm right with you if you're making fun of idiots with neck tattoos and tramp stamps and eyelid tattoos that'll never have a job outside of a porn store - but I guess you fail to realize that younger generations aren't carbon copies of those that've come before, and intelligent people actually DO get tattoos these days. In our case, and maybe most cases, it's true that we'll never be RICH, but we're a very comfortable Alpharettan upper-middle class couple.
  • Aw, come on! Megan is the true winner. Taking a cue from the legendary Normund Gentle, she made the show fun, busted some balls, and gave shout-outs to Vote for the Worst.
  • american idol girl
i did not think tats was what it was when i read that title hahaha i know i know get my mind out the gutter
  • ???
I don't watch American Idol. As a matter of fact, I don't even watch TV (I have the Internet and listen to conservative talk radio). My question is, what the h*ll was this all about?
  • The great thing about being old...
...is that you're *expected* to sit on your front porch shaking a stick and shouting "Get off my lawn!" to those darn kids.

Moaning online and on the air about tattooed women is just the talk radio equivalent.
  • Tats
Tattoos should be like buying cars. First you get the tat as a temporary. Then, and only then, if you just can't live without it (when you're sober) you get it permanent.
There would be very few permanent tattoos.
  • American Idol
    What Ian said
  • Still Smokin Hot
I liked Megan Corkery. She is smokin hot even with the tattoos. Admittedly, her singing last week was bad, I still love her voice, that smokey jazz singer type of voice. She just did not sing the right songs. Enough of my Simon Cowell impersonation.
  • tat
I don't get it. She's such a pretty girl and to destroy herself with a tattoo on her whole arm is just awful. I'm a guy that just sees tattoos as plain, butt, ugly and detracting from the natural beauty of a woman.
  • Boortz is my source of Idol news
I didn't even know who the tattooed lady was until Neal mentioned it. I agree that there are far too many people who are more interested in American Idol than the more serious topics that affect their lives. However, I am willing to bet that most of them don't listen to talk radio so you can let it go, Neal.
  • twit with tats
dang i thought it said "twat with tats tossed" i want my three seconds of reading back! ha
  • Disappointed
Neil, I am so disappointed that you even posted this…
  • Is Neil Affraid of Tattoos?
I can't believe that someone who calls himself a libertarian and that values freedom and liberty would be disgusted so much with a person with tattoos. Your "tolerance" is showing, Boortz.
  • dude
Youre the one who brought it up. If you dont like it, stop obsessing about it.
