Just curious about this Twitter thingy ... so I'm going to be posting witty, sarcastic, nasty, insulting, complimentary and pithy comments on my Twitter account during the show. Haven't quite figured this thing out yet though. See if you can find me (Talkmaster) and if you can you can get a little bit of a look at what's going on in the dark inner recesses of my mind during the show. Right now I only have 12 followers .. so this doesn't look like that big of a deal.

  • The Bailout
the companies that want to give back the money they got from the GOV.
i was always told that when you give a lender money for payment and they dont take it your loan was concidered paid ?
  • cutting defence budget
    practice makes perfect
we need to continue production and developing new weapons . (example) if students in school ,were not to go to class because there is no test that day.then on test day they stepped up production . they would fail because they dont have a clue .
  • Neal's hair in the photo
You have the Nick Nolte thing going on there...
  • Atlas Shrugged
I began reading "Atlas Shrugged" again weeks ago. I carry it like my bible. It's not so fictional.
  • Atlas Shrugged
I too have "Atlas Shrugged" as my bible. How profetic is she?
  • Twitter
Keep it up if you can, I enjoy your thoughts and comments
  • Twitter request
Great News! Now, can you start cross-posting at least maybe the Reading Assignments? (Show notes would be great too) Some of us work at places where Boortz.com is blocked, but we can still get RSS feeds from twitter.
  • Twitter
    Perfect for your intemperate thoughts!
  • Twitter
I bet you a dollar to a donut that half of those Half-Twit followers are Ron Paul nuts. No proof... just a hunch. They probably came over from that Ning site. These people are just microphone sniffers.
  • New technology
Neal, don't be afraid, any 7 year old( that may be an insult to 6 and under) can show you all this new technology. Become one with it...embrace it...or, toss it out the window and go back to reading Ayn Rand.
  • Twitter
Hey Neal, I just followed you...I'm number 962. good news travels quickly!
  • You definitely have more than 12 followers now!
  • Twitter has power
learning to use it, or having someone help you use it, can make a big difference to you in many ways. You reach new people, build a bigger following, drive people to other things you do, and even interact off the cuff - all in just a few seconds.

Pssst: the secret is: follow a few tweeters who have a fair following but not 10,000. Then interact with them using the @ symbol.
  • Why Twitter when you still dont stream or podcast
    Neal:
Forget Twitter. Streaming video of your show and podcasting is what we want...
  • tweeting
Problem with twitter is you have to limit your insensitive talk to 140 characters. That's about one sentence for you, Neal.
  • Twitter
Now at 650 and the site is reported "too many tweets!"
    Way to go Talkmaster!!!!
I set up my account months ago, you are my first! now I have somebody worth following!
  • page format
Gotta change that page layout - it's unreadable.
  • Twitter?
    What a bunch of twits!
  • Twitter
You are up to 396 followers now...looking foward to the tweets!
  • I hate Twitter. HOWEVER, I would join because if we can not infiltrate every possible form of communication, the left will... And as we know, they do it well. Twitter can go mobile too.
  • re. Twitter
260 followers after I joined, Neal.
  • "Twitter" is the new "Green"
Twitter this, twitter that. When does the novelty wear off?
  • Twitter
    My dearest Neal,
Please don't do your part to perpetuate this Twitter fad.
    Thank you very much,
    Collin

I can't get on Twitter at work, or I'd add you, Neal. I shall do so later, though!

    Neal,

You and I 'go back' to the Boortz Forum on CompuServe.

I am a business development, sales, marketing and management consultant for the A/E/C (Architectural, Engineering and Construction)

I can tell you, 'Social Media' and even Twitter does indeed have real business value. It just takes a while to learn where to ‘put the fulcrum’ to make it work for you.

    Proud to be 'Number 13'.

    Bobby
  • Jumping the Shark
If there's some old dude twittering, then Twitter has officially jumped the shark. Before you know it, he'll be twittering about how his "Depends" don't fit right anymore.
