I'm still playing around with this Twitter thing. You'll find me here.

Turkish security services arrested a Syrian man who planned to assassinate Barack Obama while in Turkey.

George Soros believes that the dollar will eventually be replaced by a world currency. I believe that George Soros will eventually be replaced by a chimpanzee.

Democrats and Republicans have widely differing opinions on how Barack Obama is handling his presidency.

Study out today detailing the huge savings that could be realized in Great Britain if they would decriminalize drugs. What have I been telling you?

Our social security system is in a lot worse shape than most would like to believe. How bad are we talking? And don't say you weren't warned. Someday this government-operated Ponzi scheme is going to implode .. and it will be a much bigger mess than what we're dealing with now.

Ahmadinejad is now eagerly awaiting a change in US policy toward Iran.

Should Michelle Obama run for President in 2020? This is a question from CNN.

CVS pharmacies are teaming up with Google Health to provide an online medical management system. Who needs the government to do it for you?

A Republican Alabama Congressman called Nancy Pelosi "Tom DeLay in a skirt."

This sounds about right ... $180,000 of taxpayer dollars to erect bronze "thought bubble" statues in Olympia's new City Hall in Washington.

Can someone please explain to me why these people are so excited about the 2010 census? Oh that's right, they want more money from the government.

Obama's childhood home in Hawaii may become a national landmark.

A 25-year-old low life tried to rob someone by beating on the window of a car with a shot gun when the gun went off, shooting himself. He's DRT. Gotta love it.

Almost 1 in 5 American 4-year-olds is a little tub-of-lard.

What others are saying

  • Britain and decriminalizing drugs
They should. If more people were aware of its success in Portugal, things would be better.

    http://stash.norml.org/the-success-of-drug-decriminalization-in-portugal/

Unfortunately, too many people are ignorant and uneducated about this subject which is a shame. I invite everyone to read that link and educate themselves.
  • I believe that George Soros will eventually be replaced by a chimpanzee.
I further predict that no one will actually notice when that happens.
  • One less thug in the gene pool
The one sad part of the story, briefly mentioned, was that the would-be victim's puppy is missing.

Other than that, one less thug draining tax payer dollars is always a good thing.
  • Should Michelle Obama run...etc?
    NO...nuff said.
  • Soros
You know, I always wondered if Soros kept supporting the socialists to make a killing shorting the Dollar like he did with Sterling
  • George Soros will eventually be replaced by a chimpanzee.
    How would we tell?
  • "thought bubbles"
$180,000 for what are effectly blobs of metal. I'm all for art, even modern art, but not for city governments paying for it. Any taxpayer money going for "art" is a wide open opportunity for fraud and abuse.
  • 2010 Census
I am excited for the Census to because I hope they try to stop by my house so I can let me dogs get some exercise.
  • Where are we going?
It is fitting that Obama is an admirer of Abraham Lincoln. Without even going into the questionable Constitutional legality of applying force against the succeeding States, Lincoln illegally suspended habeas corpus and jailed over 13,000 civilians with a trail by a military tribunal, despite that the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court ruling that the suspension of habeas corpus was unconstitutional.
  • Kim Jong Il in 2012!!!
The Communist News Network has their head so far up their rear...
  • Would-be robber's fatal gunshot
Living in Wichita as soon as I saw this story (Yesterday) I knew it would end up in Neal's News.

It was better when the gun shot was thought to be self inflicted....a bit of ironic justice.

What has yet to be told is if he didn't shoot himself, then who did? Someone he was trying to rob, or one of his "friends".
  • klingon for pres?
I thought one had to be human to hold the highest office.
  • tubs o lard on food stamps
The tub of lard one reminded me of a story I saw on Drudge yesterday.
    http://www.reuters.com/article/domesticNews/idUSTRE5314B320090402
Reuters reports that 1 of every 10 Americans get food stamps.

    Average over $112/month times 32 million people getting food stamps. That's over 35 Billion/month or 4.3 trillion/year

I wonder how many of the tubs o lard are on food stamps...
  • George Soros
George is getting exactly what he's always wanted, the demise of the United States. He and all the other lefty looney tunes. Hate to burst your bubble, but 2010 will see the reversal of much of this crap Obama and his fascist buddies are trying to cram down our throats. And PLEASE tell your reps and senators NOT to confirm that transnationalist Harold Koh!!!
  • Sasquatch for President!
CNN has really become desparate now! You have got to be kidding me! What a total idiot.
  • Tubs 'o Lard
I try to plan my return home trip from work to avoid the school bus traffic. The bus stops, drops off some kids, pulls up a little bit, stops again, drops off some more... Lazy bastages.

When I do have to watch this, so many of the kids getting off the bus appear overweight to me.
The best image I can put in words is - an upside down triangle.
Their arms don't even hang down vertically from their bodies. They can't. They are set out at angles from their bodies because they are too fat.

How can they be so overweight if they are suffering from economic problems?

Where do they get all these calories?
