Boy howdy! Did the Barack Obama administration poorly handle the release of these CIA torture memos. Apparently Obama has created a lot of "confusion and political vulnerability" in Washington over this situation.

From the Wall Street Journal ... Obama's invitation to indict officials from the Bush Administration will haunt Obama's presidency. What do you expect from someone with virtually no experience who is suddenly made president because of a slogan.

Yet another embarrassing moment from Janet Nitwit Napolitano when she suggested the 9-11 terrorists entered the U.S. through Canada.

I mentioned this column on the air yesterday: Why does Obama smile at dictators?

Now here is something to take note of: Is Education Costing Us More than Health Care?

Thanks to the growing power of the Imperial Federal Government of the United States ... the idea of a state-called constitutional convention to address federal power is gaining steam.

Do you notice anything peculiar about these police mug shots? Posting this means, of course, that I am a racist.

The top GE executive says that this global financial crisis has completely "reset" capitalism and the way we do business.

Do you think that the New York Times purposefully did not print its story about the effectiveness of the CIA interrogations? Here's what Byron York thinks ...

A senior White House advisor says that Obama's first 100 days in office have been the most productive since FDR. What else would you expect from a senior White House advisor?

Ahmadinejad is upset that Barack Obama did not participate in the thrilling UN conference on racism. Obama will rush to Iran soon to apologize.

GM is planning to temporarily close most of its American factories for up to nine weeks this summer. Yeah .. but are they going to have to continue to pay the workers?

Here's an interesting little list .. the 8 handshakes that changed history.

Well now that rapper Usher has declared that Obama is doing a great job as president .. maybe we should just back off.

What others are saying

  • Lulz
Are you saying all Conservatives are Klans? That's about as ignorant as a statement as has been posted here. I'm thinking you are actually Copy posting as Lulz.
  • Who says hussein can't still vote "present?"
Isn't that exactly what he's doing, with, "You'll have to talk to about that," and, "It's up to , that's their decision?"

I keep telling myself, at least it's an entertaining 4 year(If the USA's lucky - if we were smart he would've never been elected) amateur hour. I thank God I've got a twisted sense of humor so I can laugh at all this.
  • Conservatives are terrible with numbers
They see a grid of 15 people and immediately extrapolate from that to a voting body of well over 50,000,000.

Of course, Klansmen are known to be poorly educated, so it makes sense.
  • Mug shots
No, posting the pictures in and of itself may not make you a racist, Neal.

Skipping to page 20 of a gallery -- and skipping right over a photo that includes a white guy with "Did you forget 9-11" tatood on his throat -- just to show the minorities with Obama shirts on does, though. Nice try.
  • mug shots - you missed one...
    http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2008/1217081mugyear6.html

Though this is a big more, uh, dedicated.
  • Usher congratulates Obama
Is that where the quote, "Heck of a job, Brownie" came from ?
  • you wanna laugh?
please please read this article, you will love me forever. it's the funniest thing i've read this year about Obama. it's 100 ways that Obama has changed America... out of a British publication.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/obama-100-days-100-ways-1672019.html
  • Usher's statement on The President's Performance.
As usual, Dollywood has proven again that it is smarter than anything coming out of the mouth of Hollywood and its minions. However, I must make one important correction: Usher (who just happens to be a "homeboy") is not a rapper. He is a singer who should stick to singing. That's what he does best.
  • Constitutional Convention
Instead of a state-called constitutional convention why don't these states start bombarding the courts with lawsuits claiming violation of the 10th Ammendment? There are probably only about 500,000 federal laws that would qualify, so just pick one. This issue needs to get before the Supreme Court while we still have 5 people with a modicum of common sense left on the court. God help us if any of these people die in the next 8 years!
  • Where's the outrage...
Millions given to CEO's who didn't earn it = eauals outrage from this administration, the LSM and ACORN protesters...Now GM (Government Motors) will be giving millions (I presume depending on how many workers will be affected) to people who didn't earn it...and not one word of outrage.

I guess all these workers with a 9 week vacation EARNED the money they will be getting paid.

Funny how this wealth envy stuff works!
  • @ Mailman
I've been saying Obama will make Carter look like Regan.
  • Torture
Yesterday a caller stated that we shouldn't use torture because it isn't 100% effective. Let's compare it to a baseball game. Sometimes a batter makes an out. Sometimes a batter hits a home run. In between those outs and home runs are singles, doubles and triples. When you are waterboarding a prisoner sometimes it will not be effective. Sometimes you'll get a single's worth of information (maybe because the prisoner is not that important and has little information to give). Sometimes you will hit a home run like they did with Khalid Mohammed.
During a regular season there are tens of thousands of singles and thousands of home runs hit. To say that torture shouldn't be used because it isn't 100% effective is like saying the batter should never swing at the ball because he'll never get a home run every time. Personally, I'll be happy with alot of singles.
  • Mug Shots
    Looks more like Obama's think-tank!
  • mugshots
Take a look at #6. He belongs with the rest. So good to know who voted for this joke of a so called president.
  • Mug shots
Ha ha. Those mug shots looked like the voters in line when I voted against Obama and McCain.Obama....what a great role model.
  • Obama's decisions
Do you get the idea that this ignoble idiot has no idea what the hell he is doing? He is on his way to surpass Jimmy Carter as the most incompetent President in history. He reminds me of a kid in high school trying to play boss at a company he knows nothing about.
  • @ Spencer
"applying Janet Napolitano's method of logical thinking can we now assume that anyone that wears an Obama T-shirt will eventually be arrested?"

    I'm thinking that's a pretty safe bet.

On the other hand, maybe it's we who do not wear Obama t-shirts that should be worried about being arrested. After all, we're "extremists" and "terrorist".
  • Lemme help you out, Boog...
You meant to say Slate is not credible, as opposed to credible. Boortz, on the other hand, considers Slate very credible as he frequently links to it. So do I.

No surprise Cheney was lying about documents he isn't allowed to discuss. It's illegal for him to talk about the existence of classified documents and he knows it. So by talking about non-existent classified documents, he knew he was safe.
  • GM Summer Shutdown
If Government Motors pays these employees during this nine week shutdown there will be loads of proud French citizens as GM becomes the new socialist model for the U.S.
  • Obama Smiles at dictators
He's speechless, there is no telapromter. How does he shake hands and wave, without strings. Now that's a wonder.
  • mug shots
Neal, applying Janet Napolitano's method of logical thinking can we now assume that anyone that wears an Obama T-shirt will eventually be arrested?
  • mug shots
    Obama has quite a following!
    Need I say more.
  • Alabamastan
I looked up your source (Slate) looked at the other so called articles and dismissed them as credible. Just another online Probama, I hate Bush rag from Chicago. Go figure
  • Con Con
No! A constitutional convention opens up the whole darn thing to revision. including the Bill of Rights! Given the overall intelligence of todays average Anerican and the current political climate, well,we could end up desrtoying it. A CONTINENTAL CONGRESS which is provided for in the Constitution, could give us all the tools we need to effectivly address the corruption in our govmnt without risking our founding principals
  • Bush Indictments
I wonder if we'll see this one rear it's head in about 4 years? 'Jindal administration officials open to indicting Obama administration officials over naked power grab.'
  • Laughing
Why does Obama smile at dictators?

Because he will soon be one...
  • torutre didn't reveal Library Tower plot
The much-touted high value information taken from KSM through water-boarding was not so valuable. Supposedly he revealed the plot to fly a plane into the Library Tower in LA. But the chronology doesn't work out.

"In a White House press briefing, Bush's counterterrorism chief, Frances Fragos Townsend, told reporters that the cell leader was arrested in February 2002, and 'at that point, the other members of the cell' (later arrested) 'believed that the West Coast plot has been canceled, was not going forward.'A subsequent fact sheet released by the Bush White House states, 'In 2002, we broke up a plot by KSM to hijack an airplane and fly it into the tallest building on the West Coast.' These two statements make clear that however far the plot to attack the Library Tower ever got—an unnamed senior FBI official would later tell the Los Angeles Times that Bush's characterization of it as a 'disrupted plot' was 'ludicrous'—that plot was foiled in 2002. But Sheikh Mohammed wasn't captured until March 2003."
For the whole article, go to:
    http://www.slate.com/id/2216601/

I hate it for you torture lovers and Cheney apologists.
  • Yes We Can.....
.....get arrested! I gotta forward that one.
  • Why does Obama smile at dictators?
... because he is afraid of them ...
  • GE Exec
I found it interesting that Yahoo finance had the link to GE's exec comments posted, for about 10 minutes, then yanked it.
  • Constitutional Convention and FairTax
What a scenario that would have Pelosi, Leahy, et al all twisted!
  • Morning After pills
Nothing on the Federal Court decision Neal? Come on, this was a great decision for cool guys like me.
  • 16th Ammendment
Now that's the best idea I've seen in a long time: REPEAL the 16th ammendment!
  • Top GE Executive
    he is an Obama toady.
  • GM
I'm so glad that government oversight of GM is turning that company around...oh wait...
  • Janet N
I just refer to the Director of DHS as Janet NeoReno. Everything she does is Deja Vu all over again!
  • Oh Canada
I have to agree with the Canadiens commenting on the article. How is it Canada's fault that terrorists can cross OUR borders into OUR country?

It isn't like they were escorted across the border by a Mountie.

Of course, how can we expect the former Governor of Arizona to know how a border works!
