Hillary Clinton has decided that the United States is ready to talk to Cuba.

Nancy Pelosi wants to set up a commission to investigate the failures of Wall Street, similar to what was done after the crash in 1929. No commission, however, to investigate congressional failures.

Democrats in Texas are upset with Governor Rick Perry for discussing the idea of succession at a tea party rally.

Dianne Feinstein is going to investigate indications of new wiretap violations by the NSA.

Eric Holder has decided that he is not going to prosecute CIA agents for using waterboarding on terrorist suspects. Democrats must be beside themselves.

Ohio wants to replace laid-off janitors at the statehouse with prison inmates. The union has something to say about this.

One out of every ten people born in Mexico lives in the United States. If you're shocked, you're not paying attention.

US regulators are slowly releasing details about their bank "stress tests," to try and figure out how our financial sector is truly doing.

I think you'll find this Canadian report on the tea party protests particularly humorous. All you right-wing extremists!

How much money does it cost the states to spend federal stimulus money? Yeah, spending money to spend money.

A lawsuit has been filed by Bloomberg to expose the $2 trillion in bank loans that are being made in "secrecy."

New York Governor David Patterson says that gay marriage is a civil right and is proposing a bill to make it legal.

Uh oh ... are lamestream media outlets being accused of Obama "bashing"? Say it ain't so!

What others are saying

  • prisoner janitors
Many of us are old enough to remember prison work gangs, especially in the rural areas of our country.Working prisoners use to build all the governments furniture. My school desk in high school was stamped on the bottom that it was made by the state prison. These prisoners were paid and learned something and kept busy by these programs.Unfortunatly the unions put a stop to this, the road building gangs and the prisoner farm labor programs because they could not compete with cheap prison labor. As a result everything cost more including housing prisoners.Tax payers got screwed again.
  • Torture
The "torture" these people endure is hardly even an annoyance. Waiting in line at the local market is worse than what they put these people through.
  • Closed audio
Wish the audio clip was usable outside of Windows. I can play most non streaming content in Microsoft's closed formats but have little luck with streams. Don't have any better luck with my Nokia Internet Tablet, it says "File format not supported."

If I could I'd be listening to the whole show. But I guess the co marketing cash from Microsoft is more valuable than the few of us unwilling to run Windows.

Fred Thompson's new show is the model to beat. Streaming that actually works cross platform AND archives in open MP3 format.

Fox's talk net is available via Shoutcast which is almost as good, if one wanted to they could timeshift it to a portable device fairly easy.
  • Vote Photo
They sez: "You can't violate something as sacred as the ballot... People won't trust going to a polling place if they think somebody is walking around with a camera."

Ballots are supposed to be secret? No! Who would have thought such a thing? It can't be real. Ballots should be cast with everyone looking over your shoulder - like Union Bosses.
  • Torture
Compared to what would happen to our soldiers if they were captured by these people the torture they were receiving would be a picnic.
  • mike s
listen on line if you can

    http://wsbradio.com/

click on the listen live button
  • Silence
Strangely, a thunderous silence from the Talkmaster on the torture memos that were released yesterday... unless he's talked about it on the air (I only get an hour or so of the show).
  • Texas
Texas is talking about secession, not succession. You secede from the union. You succeed in business. Sorry, the English teacher in me still lives.
  • Democrats must be beside themselves.
Well, Democrats can do that, you know. There are several copies of many Democrats. At least they vote several times when Acorn has been around to register them...
  • succession?
"Democrats in Texas are upset with Governor Rick Perry for discussing the idea of succession at a tea party rally. "

    Has he named an heir?;-)
  • Re: Change the Format
Web master, is there any way you could change the Format so that the Commentor's name appears first?

That way we can all avoid the Idiotic comments fro Copytheft, Strained Gayballs and others of the Statists trolls that infect this site?
  • Twitter
    Neal,

I'm not interested in tweeting and I will not fall for your tease. For those who do not know you're referring to the phrase "teabagging".

That can be a reference to the scrotum.
  • Cuba
I am a pretty hard core Conservative and I think we should engage completely with Cuba. The best way to fight Castro is to expose his subjects to informaton other than that which he gives to them.

The embargo has only kept him in place for over 50 years.
  • Post a Ballot
Post a ballot and go to jail. This sounds a lot like the card check bill.
  • Re: Congressional failures
Remember Neal, Government is the only place where Stupidity and Failure are REWARDED!!!
  • Canadian Opinion
There were a lot more people at these tea parties than these people want to admit. Also the protests they are talking about having so many people attend were not only partly rent-a-mobs but they wanted something given to them. The tea party folks wanted to stop having something taken from them.
  • Attorney General
So Eric Holder won't be prosecuting CIA agents who were doing their job within the law as written and understood?...well,that's mighty white of him.
