America's Earliest Terrorists - Lessons from America's first war against Islamic terror.

The Obama administration says that it is going to participate in direct group talks with Iran through the UN Security Council. Wonderful. Instead of strengthening the United States, let's strengthen the United Nations.

You'll be happy to know that our own government can't tell you, the taxpayers, how much of the $700 billion bank bailout will be spent.

Victor Davis Hanson has his latest column on the politics of blame. Everyone in Washington is pointing fingers, and no one is responsible. Maybe you, the voters, are responsible because you elected these people.

New Air America host Montel Williams wants Newt Gingrich to "shut up" before he starts a nuclear war.

Here's an article about the seven Democrat stooges who visited Fidel Castro in Cuba.

China is becoming the world's largest car market, surpassing the United States for the third month in a row.

You know times are tough when Nevada state legislatures call hookers to the state capitol to debate whether or not their profession should be taxed.

Government health officials in Massachusetts are going to require schools to send home reports to parents about their children's Body Mass Index measurements.

Government schools in Texas are considering an alternative grading system that would not dock grades for cheating or late assignments.

Take a look at what France is doing in order to combat Internet piracy. Coming soon to the United States.

What happens when a country decriminalizes drugs? Take a look at what happened in Portugal after five years.

Did you see the photos of this Atlantic Southeast Airlines/Delta Connection flight that was struck by lightning?

What others are saying

  • America's Earliest Terrorists
All Marines know "From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli!" Where in the world did that come from? Now you know (at least the Tripoli part).
  • Taxing Nevada's working girls
I agree that they should pay taxes...
And if we could ever get the FairTax through, they would!
Of course, try explaining that to a liberal administration...
  • Decriminalization of Drugs
Well of course the stats would appear to go done. The stats are based upon arrests/complaints. If legalized, then arrests/complaints go down. This is not proof that there is LESS drug usage.
  • Nevada's proposed "Hooker Tax"
In stead of 2 million in proposed revenue, how much money could Nevada get if Carson City became the new Nation's Capital?
  • Mrs. Clintons comments on Islamic Piracy
I find it interesting given the article in the National Review that Clinton would stand up and claim that Morocco was an ally in abolishing the terrorist pirates of the 18th century, when in fact they were the ones that created and supported them in the first place!!!

Wouldn't it be great to be a Democrat and forced to live as an ignorant slave your entire life.
  • Internet Piracy
This is one area where conservatives hands are as dirty as liberals. The real intellectual property thieves are the RIAA and MPAA who have a shameful history of cheating artists and performers out of their money. Stop prostituting Federal law enforcement to the entertainment industry.
  • an alternative grading system
They already have this system in place - it's called montessori school. The difference is, those schools are generally made up of motivated kids (or kids with motivated parents) as opposed to public school. The kids who are derelicts would never benefit from a plan like this.
  • Stem Cell Research
I know there was no story about this listed in Boortz's notes but this is just sticking in my craw so I have to vent. Why, why WHY are the media and "activists" saying that Obama lifted Bush's ban on stem cell research? Correct me if I'm wrong (and I know you will) but didn't Bush just ban the use of TAXPAYER'S dollars (i.e. funding) for stem cell research? He didn't ban the practice of researching how stem cells can or can't help people. That is a HUGE difference people and no one seems to be calling the media out on this. So now my tax dollars are being used for this research. What if I don't feel it's morally right to do this research? My money is going to pay for it anyway and I have no say? Don't you think these private pharmaceutical companies are already doing this research? Believe me, if there is money to be made by finding viable uses for stem cells don't you think some company would already be doing it? Some people may call it semantics but which sounds worse? "Bush banned stem cell research" OR "Bush banned federal funding for stem cell research" Let's make Bush the baddie - AGAIN.
  • ASA hit by lightning
Neil - I'll take the question mark at the end of the sentence as a way you question the lightning strike. No lightning, just external power being applied resulting in a cockpit fire. Must have been one hot fire.
  • Blame Game
Victor is correct in his article about the blame game. We put these idiots in power, sat on our hands, and watched them destroy the country.

These politicians are corrupt and incompetant, and we vote them back into office. We don't write them when bills come up that are important to us.

We see rallies by exteme liberal groups constantly, but we don't rally to make our voices heard. We don't write CNN or NBC to express our disgust at their bias. We don't write out congressmen/congresswomen about the bias at NPR.

We put restrictions on corporate lobbyists, but allow unions, environmental groups, Acorn, etc. do as they wish.

We need to wake up, become politically active, and make our voices heard. Otherwise, we will lose many of our freedoms and saddle our children with $100,000 of debt (their share of the national debt).
  • Taxing hookers
The government, just a bunch of hookers, is screwing us and taxing us, so why not go all the way?
... think BO and Libs will tier tax according to ... never mind ...
  • Cuba
I heard part of the comments about the visit to Cuba.... it would have been nice if the 7 clowns took the time to talk to the real people in Cuba and understand how they live (I did when I went to Cuba)
Do they think we are THAT stupid to believe that Castro is a wonderful person who cares about his citizens??? SERIOUSLY!!!
  • Americ's Earliest Terrorists
Heard you talk about this on radio. Came home, found the article in Nealz Nuze & promptly made a copy for me & e-mailed it to all my conservative frields & relatives. Keep up the good work!
  • ASA Lightning strike
Apologize if this winds up posted twice, computer froze up during post. Unless the lightning hits a ungrounded or non-conducting part it is usually hard to even find where lightning hit. More interesting is the large NO STEP
  • ASA Lightning strike
Unless the lightning hits a ungrounded or non-conducting part it is usually hard to even find where lightning hit. More interesting is the large NO STEP marking on the pitot tube- I am sure added after our TSA mental giants used them to attempt to climb into parked aircraft causing extensive damage.
  • Cheating and Late Assignments
These kids are going to have a wake up call when they go to college and get caught cheating. Most places give you an F for the class and some colleges kick you out. I guess learning that there are consequences to decisions isn't a good thing anymore.
  • Lightning strike
Neal obviously didn't read the site, he just relied on the headline. Bad work Neal...
  • Lightning strike
Neal take a look at the smoke pattern on the hole. Looks like something started low and burned UP. (Classic fire growth pattern) Looks more like an onboard fire inside.
  • Barbary Pirate World Response
Great Article link today. What the article did not mention today was the world response to the Muslim Piracy. The countries of Europe paid the bashaws money (reportedly 10% percent of NDP) to leave their ships alone. The pirates demanded the same payment from the U.S. Thomas Jefferson responded with the U.S. Marine Corps. The point is that then as now, the "arrogant" U.S. takes the lead in beating back the threat of Islamic jihad.
  • Hookers nd Taxes
A hooker is buying condoms and the clerk says "$ 8.75 with tax". The hooker replies." Tacks? So that's how they stay on".

    ba-dum-bum

I'll be here all week, try the veal.
  • Castro visit
I tried to read that article about the CBC folks that went and visited Castro. I got to the 5th paragraph and had to stop before I threw up.

Do they have ANY idea whatsoever what that man has done to Cuba? It makes me physically ill to read their comments on that piece of dog squeeze.
  • Lightning Strike -- Whoops!
    Neal -

Do your homework before you link to an article -- and that would start with actually reading the article... kinda reminds me of what Congress does before they vote on a bill.
  • Nevada hookers
If all other businesses are taxed, the question is, why NOT tax the hookers?
  • Plane Fire
There's an update on the "lightning strike" on the Delta/ASA aircraft. It was a fire on board the plane, not lightning that caused the damage. The aircraft was on the ground, only two people aboard and they got out safely.
  • Not lightning
The ASA jet wasn't struck by lightning. It was an electrical fire on the ground with no passengers aboard. Read the comments on the web page you linked to.
  • Lightning Strike -- Not!
Woopsie, Neal! Looks like the Lightning Strike link wasn't fully vetted. NTSB reports say that it was a cockpit fire while the plane was on the ground.

    http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=20090303X74824&key=1
  • Plane Struck by lightning...
Wasn't struck by lightning. It was a cockpit fire.
  • Lightning - Atlantic Southeast Airlines/Delta Connection
You need to read the info in your own link. It wasn't lightning! It was a cockpit fire on the ground!
  • Plane/lightning
The comments after the plane/lightning photo clearly indicate that the plane suffered a cockpit fire on the ground, not a lightning strike. Do y'all not read the items you link?
