Did you see some of the women marrying women and men marrying men in Iowa yesterday? The law of unintended consequences has yet to make itself heard ... but looking at some of the newlyweds on the tube last night was in no way encouraging.

What kind of an idiot is going to schedule a "photo-op" that features a large jet transport and a jet fighter flying low over Manhattan --- and not issue a warning? A White House idiot, that's what kind. Someone said the Obama White House has a September 10th mentality. That pretty much describes it.

Still steamed about that idiotic "resort fee" at the Gaylord Palms. So you have a pool. BFD. Who doesn't have a pool? And if I want a shuttle to Disney I'll pay for it. Also --- I could hire monks to transcribe for me faster than the web pages on your Internet service included in the "resort fee" could. I just don't like being dollared and dimed to death. And then there's that $13 charge to park your own freaking car.

Re-reading Atlas Shrugged. The producers are dropping like flies and the looters are thriving. At my age this is better than a tawdry sex novel.

Did you know that on April 15th the White House actually said that PrezBO was "unaware" of the tea parties?

Almost 60% of Americans believe that Obama's release of the so-called "torture memos" has made America a more dangerous place. America became a more dangerous place the day he was elected, and we ain't seen nuthin' yet.

Just wondering, but will removing all images referencing Christianity and Jesus Christ be a requirement for all venues hosting an Obama speech in the future?

Are Muslims comfortable with the "Swine Flu" label? Some are calling it the "Mexican Flu." Mexican's aren't particularly fond of that one either. How about just calling in the "Conservative Flu?" At least the media will love it.

Obama's teleprompter bogs down yesterday. When it does he is completely unable to continue with his speech. Click here to see what the teleprompter has to say about this SNAFU. I'm sure Obama took the teleprompter to the woodshed after this gaffe. That Obama ... he's one eloquent sonofagun, isn't he?

    You only had to pay $13 to park your own car? At the Opryland Hotel in Nashville it costs $18. That is why I used the $25 valet service. Sure came in handy when I left during a rain storm. Gaylord used to treat a customer like a king. Now they only care about taking all of your money.

    Presidential jet photo op just another indication the administration is in their own little world, and it aint our world.

    Sounds like that resort defeated its’ own purpose. Hope you walked out and went to a real one.

    I’m due to reread it myself. Those first couple of chapters are so dreary it took me years after I bought it to get by them. I’m glad I did though. “The Anti-Industrial Revolution,” is another good eye opener by her.

    Of course the WH said he was unaware of the protests, lying is okay and expected from them.

    Hussein’s going to follow up the memos with free manuals distributed worldwide, on how to resist US interrogation.

    Not sure what you’re referring to with the Christian images and references, it wouldn’t surprise me, and it’s entirely fitting for this crew. I wonder if they will bring back the condom tree?

    Call it the idiot flu. Something must be happening they want to distract from.

    Come on yall, it’s not hussein’s fault he’s an clueless idiot, it’s obviously former President Bush’s and the teleprompter guy’s fault.

  • Swine Flu
    It’s an amazing coincidence that the swine flu started right after Clinton and Obama left Mexico. You get rid of the Mexican drug lords and corner the market on the flu vaccine. They probably thought they could fix the deficit this way. Plus it would make sure that we get nationalized medicine to vaccinate everyone. Don’t let a good crisis go to waste. Just wait for it!

    People always refer to an unlikely event as happening when pigs fly but nobody bothers to explain what would happen if swine flu.

    In deference to those groups who find "swine flu" offensive, we could call it the "intolerant religious crackpot flu" instead.

    So, President Oprompter is completely tongue-tied without his trusty TOTUS? What would happen in the event of a power failure during a speech? Maybe TOTUS has a battery back-up! (oohhh, I didn't mean to suggest a level of technology that the Admin doesn't currently use!)

    I don't watch a lot of Obama's speeches, he needs to schedule them around the time that I get to play my video games.

    Then again, that video on TOTUS' blog reminds me of another reason I don't watch Big O's speeches. Watch his eyes lock on the teleprompter before he starts reading.

    In Anchorman, Ron Burgandy will read anything put on the teleprompter, and it cost him his job when he told San Diego something pretty harsh. How about someone reprogramming PrezBO's teleprompter and putting some bad words or something inflammatory on there. I think that would be hilarious.

    Amen and amen! The Gaylord Texan is no better. They hassled the cab driver we called because we didn't go through them. They wanted $300 to shuttle 20 of us 8.2 miles round trip because our destination was on the other side of the highway, and not in Grapevine. I guess nickle and diming your guests to death is their business plan.
