I'm sorry to hear you know this dude, I hope you don't spend too much time hanging around this guy and his type. You say he's a graduate of a police academy? He SHOULD NOT be patrolling our streets. I hope this video is seen by all the right people that work in law enforcement and they have enough sense to NOT hire him or fire him if he's already been hired. He's obviously the macho type that would storm into someone's home para-military style (probably without a proper warrant) and then blow their head off without any real cause. What a scumbag, in fact the more I think about this the more it sickens me, I hope he tries this stunt again and the person aims a little too high. One less scumbag bully with a badge and a gun. Ok, just for clarification I know that not all cops are bad and god bless 'em for what they do 'cause I sure wouldn't want to be out there doing that job but I swear I've had more than my fair share of encounters with bullies that hide behind badges and this scumbag strikes me as exactly that type. Oh and one more thing, it's idiots like this that give the left ammunition when it comes to gun control.

to the person saying the slide didn't go back.. whatever, have you ever heard of STILL PAUSE. Because if you do that you can clearly see the slide go back and as far as sound are you some kind of sound/design engineer? Doubt it. That was unfortunately too real and REAL stupid!

This is too hilarious- I know this dude.
He is a recent Police Academy Graduate, the Bullet pushed the vest 1 1/2 inches into his chest. He had to spend a night in the Hospital for observation. This only was shot a couple weeks ago- I saw it for the first time on the guy who "tested" the vest's cell phone. The big ol' scab on his chest hadn't healed yet.
I don't want to give too many details beyond this, I don't know if the guy thought he would become a youtube sensation- but If I'm lyin, I'm dyin', this is real.

As for the timing of the 'shootee' moving after being 'shot', a small caliber pistol is not going to 'knock' you like in the movies. There may be several moments before any reaction results (depending on how wasted you are) after the impact.

Looks pretty damned convincing to me. I watched the firing 10 times. I am not an expert. Firstly, the slide DOES kick to reload and you can see the pistol kick at the same time. The sound timing is off and of poor quality so you can't compare that to the sound a 9mm actully sounds like, but that is not uncommon in these type videos. As for the bleeding, the moron doesn't start bleeding until after the vest is removed. Had it been a capsule the 'blood' would have been apparent immediately upon the removal of the BP vest after the 'punch' and not so much contained as in the pronounced stream after removal.
If it was a fake, it was very well done.

One of two things; the video is fake as the slide did not come back on the 9 MM, or the gene pool will eventually right itself with these do-dahs. Bet momma is proud of them.

The 9 mil never kicked or expelled a shell..The sound is nothing like a 9mm but more like a firecracker or a 22..The kid dont move till a couple of secs after the shot, and the 'blood' is from a capsule broken by the guy that slaps him in the chest..Still a dumb stunt as it could entice other idiots into trying it..
