See how Liam Nelson handles the search for info on his kidnapped daughter.

(5) If waterboarding a terrorist for information to save lives is bad, then the converse muust be true. We know the evidence shows that waterboarding saved many lives from future attacks. Is your point that the graver the threat the greater the need to become emotionally out of control and become physical? The show 'The Closer" is a good example of brains over brawn and it is more likely to get you the info you need. During WWII the US used tricks like illusions. If you can't match wits with a terrorist and all you can think of is torture then I think you aren't smart enough to qualify as an interrogator. Hollywood has enough technology and creativity to help the military trick people without making our own citizens into torturers. Use your brain.
