Yeah, you read that right! I'll be on CNN with Rick Sanchez about 3:25pm ET to talk about the Tea Parties and FairTax rallies. Oh wait, never mind. I like Rick and I don't want to get him in trouble by ranting about that Susan Roesgen woman, so I pulled myself from the show.

What others are saying

  • Wow!
I've lost a little bit of respect for you...How could you whimp out and not voice your opinion on the matter when given the chance in front of a national audience?...From others comments this appears to be your trend...You like to beatup on callers on your show, but when you can't hit the mute button you avoid the confrontation...What a joke!..

You might believe in what you say, but not as strongly as you say you do.
  • Quitter?
Whats the deal Boortz? Why quit on us?
  • Cody Willard
So, is the nuanced style of reporting you prefer, Neal?

  • another Boortz "duck".
This is what he does. Avoids confrontation. He did it with Franken. He did it with Randy Rhodes. Yeah, he doen't want to get that democratic shill sanchez in trouble. Right. Whatever.
  • I hope she's fired
A reporter should /report/ what's happening. You can ask pointed questions, but "do you realize that [dissenting opinion]?" is not a question. This is why I don't watch Fox news as a news source, so the same logic goes for CNN.

  • congradulations..
according to DHS we the people are now all considered domestic terrorist.semper fi..
  • Something about this just doesn't seem quite right!
When I first heard this I said to myself something just doesn't seem to add up here! I'm not sure what really happened but I can tell you one thing we will never hear the real story! In case you haven't been paying attention you cant trust a thing you hear on the TV or the radio! It's unfortunate but I recently learned first hand that Neal Boortz and all of the other radio hosts just can't be trusted. It's beyond me how someone can get on the radio everyday and feed lies to us but, I guess some people really are just sole less. Just like it's time to clean up Washington its time for some fresh faces some fresh voices and some fresh sources in our media! If you have no idea what I'm talking about just try and make an effort to go on the internet and do your own research and stop depending on this pin head to give you the "truth". The sooner we remove the blinders the sooner we can begin to take our country back from these impostors!
  • CNN
So you like Rick Sanchez ? This guy has been accusing right wing radio talk show hosts of prvoking all these mass murders such as the assassination of the 3 cops in Pittsburgh. As it turns out he is the last person on earth who should be pointing his blood stained finger at you and others

Seems while DWI in Miami he ran over and killed a drunk.

  • Missed a golden opportunity
Neal, think you missed a golden opportunity to get the conservative message out, but because you "chickened" out you let them win.
  • I think you need to reconsider
I think its too important for you to back out of the CNN interview, due to a personal friendship. CNN could use the upgrade in guests and on it may make it worth watching.
  • Susan Roesgan
Shes not a reporter! Why is she holding that microphone? CNN is confuzing
  • Hypocrisy
Where is the outrage over journalstic integrity when FIXED OUTOFBUSINESS NEWS Anchor Cody Willard did essentially the same thing? Your hypocrisy is boundless.
  • Narcissism
It's so funny how you pulled yourself off of the show to "save" Mr. Sanchez "trouble." What does that mean?" Are people supposed to be scared of you? What is it like to think so highly of yourself? Jeez!
  • Susan Roesgen
She used to be an anchor on WDSU in New Orleans and was an idiot back then, too!!!
  • s a n c h e z
Neil did the same thing with al franken a few years ago. He backs out of one on one confrontations. He gives a candy ass excuse. Never fails.
  • Sanchez DUI/Death
Still need to nail this twirp on this.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_Sanchez
  • Sanchez isn't worth your time
Google a bit about Sanchez and his 1991 DUI incident where he fatally injured a man. Then recently, he had the stones to accuse Glenn Beck of being responsible for the nut job in Pittsburgh who killed three cops. Sanchez is not worth gracing with your presence.
  • Go on
Neal you should go on and say you wish these tea parties have been going on since Bush dumped the economy trillions of dollars into the toilet
  • Man, the laughs just keep on coming.
I like how Neal Boortz, a man that is *proud* of his constant derision of anyone who does something he doesn't like, is whining and crying about news networks being derisive to this pathetic teabagger "movement". I revel in the sheer irony of the right-wing talk radio empire -- a rabid, frothing attack machine that regularly questions the patriotism of its opponents, is now acting surprised when somebody actually bites back.

But then, these are the same people who listened to Rush Pillbaugh talk about how drug abusers should rot in prison for years, then found out he was a pill-popper himself and a criminal guilty of the crime of defrauding doctors on top of it, and instead of calling for his head they cooed and coddled him while he said he was sorry for being a gigantic, hypocritical gasbag.

Keep it coming boys, this is comedy gold.
  • Boortz
Wimp!!!! Sanchez can hold his own even with you on the show.
  • What? You might want to check with Mr. Sanchez first.
Differing opinions on CNN is exactly what they need to build credibility. If it's nixxed, let it be them that cuts their own throat.
  • Your voice needs to be heard on CNN
Please reconsider your time on CNN this afternoon. Susan Roesgen tried to subvert the true purpose of the tea party by turning it into a Fox vs. CNN network news battle.

The truth is, the real news is on sites like You Tube, which in spite of silly videos of stupid people, serves as a raw source of what is really happening in our country and world. CNN needs to fear You Tube, not Fox.

Take the high road and discuss the Tea parties yesterday as a way of Americans to peaceably assemble and express their opinions on the subject of taxes. Then go into a discussion of the Fair Tax. They have to allow you to speak. It is your First Amendment right. I will see you on CNN.
  • Pulling out
Just because you like the man doesn't mean you can be a candyass and not call out stupidity
  • Susan Roesgen
I watched the Susan Roesgen clip on CNN yesterday and it brought back some fond memories. Susan used to be a news commentator on a local New Orleans affiliate. She once did the news without realizing her nipple was showing. She was promptly rewarded with the nickname of Nip. What a dingbat!
  • Tea Party on MSNBC
After watching the Tea Parties via the Hannity show last night, I was surfing my way back to my local broadcasts when I stopped for a moment at MSNBC. I am not an MSNBC viewer and now I know why. For 10-15 minutes I watched Keith Olbermann insult every fiber of my being. I have never been so incensed by a TV personality. You think that CNN twit in Chicago was bad? Keith Olbermann makes her look like the tooth fairy by comparison. “Derision” must be his middle name. This morning you described Obama as a Sanctimonious Pompous Ass, and I could feel your anger as the words rolled off your tongue. That being said, how would you describe Keith Olbermann? I’ve just never seen such an egotistical condescending SOB, posing as a TV newsman in my life.
Now that you’ve bailed on the Rick Sanchez show, perhaps you could go on a rant about Keith Olbermann.
    Mad Max
  • Boycott CNN
I LOVE the Lou Dobbs show on CNN and very rarely miss it. However, I am boycotting CNN until that halfwit Susan Roesgyn is fired. I sent an e-mail to Lou telling him I was boycotting the network since CNN does not have contact info for the network. Guess they figure they would be constantly slammed and don't want the hassle.

Anyhoo, I encoursge anyone who watches CNN for anything to boycott the network until this woman is fired.
  • Canceling on Rick Sanchez?
I am sorry you decided to pull out this afternoon from the CNN show, Neal. I just wrote CNN and asked the fire that nincompoop reporter who made their already sliding news network look even more stupid than ever. Are they going to fire or even reprimand her? Yeah, right...a snowball in Hades would have a better chance that that ever happening. But please reconsider visiting Sanchez and bringing this up on a national stage.

  • You have to go to CNN!
I am still in disbelief at what this so called reporter did on CNN yesterday. The comments afterwards by the anchor were almost as bad. Please go there today. Someone needs to get some answers...if that is possible. Thank you!
