I find it very telling that you bring up television as a source for Science. Discovery channel and Nat’l Geographic are entertainment, nothing more. I enjoy both channels (though I no longer own a television), but I and others who are actually interested in real science (and history while we are at it) get our information from books and other published information. Television is for the sloth.

I thought that Keith Olberman was on the Comedy Channel. Hugo's ghost, there is no question the Fox News' report was more balanced. The CNN report tried to slant it as a Republican rally and anti-Democrat. The Fox News (which undoubtedly slants toward the Republican point of view) clearly identified that the Republicans and Democrats were being protested. You represent the biggest problem we have in this country. Too many people are Democrats or Republicans first and Americans second. We need to all be Americans first.

As a former newspaper reporter who was fortunate enough to escape the profession, I can tell you in no uncertain terms that journalism in America is DEAD. Objective reporting is virtually nonexistent on ANY network (Fox included), which are now little more than forums for political advocacy and debate. It's sad to what has happened to a once-proud profession.
