What others are saying

  • Mark Levin
The man is a living-lullabye! Interview the Unicycle Guy in Marrietta next, unicycle.com is ten times more interesting than Obama-Bashing!!!!!!!
  • Ooh! Neal read my mind! (Or did I foresee this?)
Neal, no lie: just this (Thursday) morning about 6 or 7 a.m. EDT, I was snooping around your site to see if you'd posted anything about Levin's book. I'd heard parts of his interviews with Rush and Baby Jesus and was impressed, but was more interested in a fellow libertarian's opinion.

I only heard a short portion of the interview (I can only listen to your show briefly while running work-related errands,) but I gather you are enthusiastic about the book. I'd be interested in reading your own follow-up thoughts on it here in the Nuze. Does Levin take positions in the book with which the "average" (such a thing??) libertarian would likely disagree? In short, is it worth purchasing for a libertarian's library?
  • Mike
The past does not make what Levin said about Obama any less true.
  • Mark Levin
As I was listening to his description of the President, I had to ask myself Which President is he talking about? Light weight ideologue? Hey, stop talking about Bush! We need to look back while we are looking ahead. Amazingly, most of what I am hearing about this administration, could be said about the last administration. Thank you GW for the whiplash effect.
  • Milkman
I have to say I agree with the milkman. But I'm on my way to buy his book.

Neal, I'm taking your word on this. If it's as good as you say, my next book will be one of your fair tax books.
  • Congratulations to Mark Levin
Like Neal, a great American, and very deserving of having a #1 bestseller. People like these do more good in one day than our entire government does in 10 years. Thank you very much, and keep up the great work.
  • Mark Levin
While I am sure Mr Levin is a "Great American" and he is lauded as a good writer, I must say I cannot stand to listen to him.He has a good message but his childish name calling and screaming makes it irritating to try to listen to.He never listens to his callers, which is his prerogative, but it makes him sound less intelligent and puerile.
  • You're Wrong, Tim
Ayn Rand's quote listed above is proven correct by the current mess. It was government intervention created the crisis by requiring banks to loan money to people who couldn't pay it back. It was Fannie and Freddie who created the market for the mortgage backed securities. They got bonuses, too. Where is the outrage over that?

It was government intervention that didn't allow these businesses to fail, as they would have in a true free market. It was this administration and congressmen like Chris Dodd who made sure the bonuses were in the stimulus bill. The government didn't use the regulations they had in place already to prevent this. More of the same won't fix anything.

Ayn Rand's quote is 100% correct.
  • back to the subject...
This interview with Levin should be VERY interesting!
  • Tim Thorp
Sorry Tim but it was the democrats lack of oversite in the housing that caused this mess. Ayn Rand is still right and looney left like you will always be wrong
  • Ayn Rand quote
Ayn Rand's quote is obviously proven wrong by today's events. We suffered a major financial crisis, and huge unearned bonuses were given to the few crooks at the expense of us all. Had the government intervened and regulated sooner, much damage could have been prevented. So much for leaving capitalist crooks alone and unsupervised. T.
  • Chalmers Johnson...
I think Neal at some point should have Michael Scheur or Chalmers Johnson on his show? Maybe even Gary Johnson or Peter Schiff. Chalmers Johnson could talk about blowback.
