Just for fun, here's George Carlin's take on Earth Day. Do I need to tell you that there will be bad words in this video? Well, there, I just did.

What others are saying

  • he's a man of great wisdom. may he RIP.
  • Behind the countless laughs Carlins gave us, he was a brilliant man in his beliefs. He was a true modern day philospher in the true sence of the word.

    RIP
  • God bless George
Or whoever he's hanging out with now. What a great perspective he had.
  • Ah, George...
you were a marvelous man. Greatly missed, you sure knew how to put things into perspective. Rest in peace.
  • Go George
You have to love George Carlin. He puts save the planet in perspective
  • @ Stan Gable
You're right... Religious Republicans can't watch Carlin, he uses yucky words that make baby Jesus cry. Conservatives on the other hand, can enjoy watching a brilliant man exercise his rights to free speech. Carlin should be a litmus test for who can join the New Conservative Party. Anyone who can use Carlin's famous seven words without feeling as though they have offended their invisible friend is welcome.
  • Wait ... scratch that.
I just watched some other Carlin bits. He was dead-on about global warming ... but not so much on other issues.
  • Suffer the fools
for among the laughter, they say some profound things ...

    RIP, Mr. Carlin
  • Carlin is the master...
Right, Center, or Left he's as good as it gets. I suppose to the idiotic hate-filled liberal Dummycrats like Stan, ANYTHING means that Conservatives and Republicans are toast. Yes, and this loon still seems to find his way to Conservative/Libertarian blogs. I thought we were irrelevant, Stan? Liberal left wing fool.
  • More! Give us more!
People listening to Carlin will nod their heads, laugh and say, "Yep, that makes sense!" All in the delivery.

Which - as you all know - is a big reason BO won and McCain lost. BO looks cool and sounds cool. McCain looks old and sounds old. All in the delivery.

If only we could get more clips of Carlin talking about taxes, health care, education, terrorists, etc.
  • George
Don't be silly Stan, George is great! I would have voted for him for President. I don't think you truly understand his honesty.
  • Summed up nicely
George Carlin summed up my opinion of Earth day and all this eco-friendly bull nicely. Listing the sheer number of natural disasters the Earth has been subject to over its existence compared to 2 centuries of heavy industry puts things into perspective.
  • Carlin
    Brilliant, absolutely brilliant...
  • WHAAt?
Repubs are now listening to Carlin. I guess the party is truly gone. I thought Repubs were too busy in church to watch this
  • Earth Day
The word Master at his very best..Thanks for posting it, Neal.
  • George Carlin and Bill Hicks... two greatest comedians ever.
    'nuff said.
