I thank everyone who had a part of getting Delilah and Kym where they needed to be. I thank God for having people like Neal, the Pilot and the nurse ready to help. The nurse has been with Delilah from day one. I also want to thank the family who lost a child. You gave a child so another one could live. It took the love of God to do that.
Kym, I just wanted to let you know that my church and I are praying for you and Delilah. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

well i read most of these comment and some were kinda rude and made me feel bad, expecially the one talking about my child being black. Yes, i am a white single 21 year old mother, and yes Delilahs father is black...So what?...Also the rude comment someone posted about my home health care nurse, asking if she was going to be able to fit into the plane...wow...As for myself i was already in the plane in this photo...u can see my head lol. To clear things up, neal is a great man, and without him this trip would have been almost impossible, and he had ALOT of doing with us getting to Miami!I highly respect Neal, he is awsome. I am very happy to report that my Delilah Bug is doing fabulous! For those of you naysayers, what if Delilah were YOUR child? Would it really be that bad that a pilot stepped up to help an innocent child live another day and have a chance at a happy healthy normal life? Would that be ok if it were YOUR child? Turn the table. I think NEAL and the PILOT deserve applause. If Neal didn't have a heart he wouldn't have made the announcment. THANKS PILOT!

Ah Skip? Do you listen to how the flights are paid for? Pull you head out and pay mind! I am SO glad this little darling is making fantastic progress and the pilots and those on the inside of Angel flights deserve the biggest blessing they can get...

I myself as well as my husband are taxpayer's and I would much rather help pay for an operation to save a child's life than to paying for some ceo's big bonus or any other trivial crap we are being made to pay for.what would you do let your child die,without trying to find any way possible to save them?Think about that!!!!!!!!

Angel Flight is awesome.
I just wanted to say that my hat is off to the pilots who donate their time, aircraft and money to the mission of Angel Flight.
I used to own a medical transport company in Naples, FL and would sometimes tag along on flights to assist with the patients.
Those pilots use their own aircraft and often pay for their own fuel in order to do something for free for someone who they have never met.
Great organization!
It's a truely inspiring calling.

These flights and the people who provide them are amazing. My son needed such a flight home after his bone marrow transplant in 1999. I will never forget their generosity and kindness!

I would like to personally say thank you to everyone Involved in getting this little angel to miami.This is not a time for negative comments or casting jugement on anyone for doing such a wonderfull thing that for all we know may not have happened without national coverage.This comment is from a mother that faced this same situation in june of 2000 and because of the donor family and the pilots that flew my little girl to get her 4 organ I would not be about to celebrate 9 yrs post tranplant with my own little angel.thanks and may god bless you all and may this family have many more years with their little angel.You are in my thoughts and prayers
The true spirit of America
This shows the true spirit of Americans -- selflessly helping those in need, without the assistance of the government. I am working very hard to be able to afford to get my pilot's license, with sights set on being able to perform these kinds of acts for others in the future. Well done, to all involved.

This is NOT about Neal taking credit. (Although it is his to take.) Time was a factor, dunce. Neal had a platform to get the word out. He did so. People sprang into action and "Got'er dun!" Would it have happened without him? Maybe, but surely not as rapidly. You two are medical miracles. Living without a heart or a brain. Amazing. Please do the world a favor and shut the !@#$%^&* up.

Vaseline is right. Neal acts like none of this would have happened without him and keeps trying to take some credit for it. This would have happened (if it was meant to be) without Neal. I am really sure that as soon as Neal mentioned it pilots threw down everything they were doing and ran to the airport and this would not have happened without Neal. That's not the way this stuff works. At least Neal admits that he is "full of himself, self involved and self important!"

I can't wait until I get to my 500 hours so I can volunteer my time to do an Angel Flight...kudos to the pilots that have achieved that milestone!

When you put out the notice the other day, I was in my airplane shop just as proud as I could be to be. I'm not an AF pilot (just a stick & rudder guy) but your request moved me then, and the results move me now. Bravo AF. Bravo Neal.

Thanks for talking up Angel Flight and organ transplant. 20 years ago we lost a child and donated her organs. Every time I hear a story like Delilahs it reminds me of not only of our loss but also that another child grew into an adult because of it. That makes me smile through the tears.
