THE OBAMA LOVE-FEST

Obama's 100 day mark is approaching rapidly. But don't you worry .. the lamestream media has already had their '100 day round-up' stories ready for months. In fact, they probably started writing them when Obama was inaugurated. To the statest media in this country, Obama really can't do wrong. No matter what he did or didn't accomplish in this first 100 days, he was going to be compared to the likes of Abraham Lincoln and FDR. He was going to be praised for bringing 'change' to Washington.

Did you happen to see the AP article written by Ron Fournier and Trevor Tompson? Apparently Americans are "high" on Barack Obama and the direction he is taking this country. What? Is PrezBO a controlled substance? Would that it be so!

Are you freaking kidding me? We are talking about a man who has spent trillions of dollars within the first months of his presidency, made America look weak on the world stage, grins at dictators, can't say good morning to his wife without a teleprompter and is over-seeing the largest expansion of the imperial federal government in the history of this nation. You want me to believe that most people out there are OK with this? The parasite/looter class, maybe. Unfortunately, they're making up a bigger and bigger percentage of the total as we go.

I know exactly why Americans are so high on Obama and on the direction of the United States. Government schools. No, seriously, folks. Government schools teach our children to love government. What else would you expect government schools to do? Preach the benefits of the private sector? The people that run these schools are government-trained government employees. What else are they going to do other than teach that government can be the solution to all your problems. That you can rely on the government when you fall on hard times or if you are one of those 'less fortunate' people in this country. Our students are being bred to become Democrat voters .. and Democrats typically adore government. So they don't recognize the hideous job Obama and Pelosi have done thus far.

The pro-Democrat media doesn't help, either. Take a look at some of the language of this AP article. The idolization is comical.

For the first time in years, more Americans than not say the country is headed in the right direction, a sign that Barack Obama has used the first 100 days of his presidency to lift the public's mood and inspire hopes for a brighter future.

Intensely worried about their personal finances and medical expenses, Americans nonetheless appear realistic about the time Obama might need to turn things around, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll. It shows most Americans consider their new president to be a strong, ethical and empathetic leader who is working to change Washington.

Nobody knows how long the honeymoon will last, but Obama has clearly transformed the yes-we-can spirit of his candidacy into a tool of governance ...

So far, Obama has defied the odds by producing a sustained trend toward optimism. It began with his election.

Did you catch all of the words in there? Change ... inspire ... optimism ... yes-we-can spirit ... strong.

I shouldn't be too surprised, though, based on the level of intelligence of the average Obama voter.

Do you remember Henrietta? She's the leach that went to an Obama rally back in February and asked Obama for a house. Apparently she and her son were homeless because he lost his job and she couldn't find one. Hearing her request, the wife of a Republican representative in Florida gave Henrietta a home to live in temporarily. She had to pay minimal rent.

But guess what? Henrietta is still "struggling" to find a job and she might soon lose the home that she was given. Here's Henrietta's first mistake ... the article says that she "faithfully goes to an employment center in Fort Myers in hopes of finding a job." Hey, Henrietta. Newsflash - you can try more than just showing up at a government agency and hoping that the government gets you a job.

So now Henrietta is worried that she is going to lose the home that was given to her. Why? Because the woman who owns the home is actually trying to sell it. Once the House sells, Henrietta has to hit the road. But the wife of this Florida lawmaker says that she will do anything in her power to make sure that Henrietta doesn't end up homeless again.

Henrietta is a mooch. She will continue mooching until she absolutely, as a last resort, has to do something on her own to survive. Henrietta is the very face of the new Democrat voter and Obama supporter. And what's the story on her worthless son?

MEDIA REFORM

Cristina Kirchner of Argentina is really making some waves lately. Just a few months ago, she proposed the idea of nationalizing all private pension plans in her country. (Coming soon to the US, if I don't miss my guess.) Now, she wants an overhaul of the media laws in her country ... and there is a lot of suspicion that she wants to change the laws in order to punish the largest media group in Argentina and silence her critics during an upcoming election campaign.

What she wants to do is reduce the control of a few companies that dominate broadcasting. More specifically, she wants to limit the number of broadcast licenses one company can hold locally and nationally, increase the number of soccer games shown on free channels instead of pay-TV, and guarantee a share of the airwaves for nonprofit groups.

This woman is a despot. Despots learn that you must control the media. Despots talk of such things as the "Fairness Doctrine." Watch her, she's dangerous and Obama likes her.

HONORING MISS CALIFORNIA

The Alabama legislature has decided that they have nothing else left to do. All of Obama's stimulus money has been spent. All local Little League baseball teams have been congratulated. So now they are moving on to Miss California. The House approved a resolution praising Miss California Carrie Prejean for speaking out against gay marriage.

Now there is a great use of your tax dollars. Sure am glad there are no more pressing issues in Alabamastan. It's not that I disagree with the resolution, it's just that there are more pressing issues to deal with. Also .. the resolution should have said something about aftermarket equipment.

This story is useless without video, right?

Which is it Obama? Now the White House is saying that it does not want an independent commission to investigate Bush-era interrogations.

Nancy can't decide whether or not she knew about the use of waterboarding. The truth ain't in her.

In order to promote Earth Day and spread the message of saving the planet, Barack Obama managed to burn up 9,000 gallons of fuel traveling to and from speeches. Gotta love it.

Attorney General Eric Holder says that he is considering forming a financial fraud task force. How about a government fraud task force?

Aren't you glad that you live in a country where you don't have deploy troops into the streets when the government increases taxes? Unfortunately, Jamaica is not as lucky.

Sadly, Republicans meeting with Obama yesterday did not bring up the idea of asking for Janet "Nitwit" Napolitano's resignation.

Apparently Joe Biden has previously described Obama as a "cross between Denzel Washington and Franklin Roosevelt." How about a cross between Erkle and Jimmy Carter? OK .. so I don't know how to spell Erkle.

Speaking of Joe Biden, did you know that he is more unpopular than Dick Cheney was at this point of his vice presidency?

An airline has launched the world's first pets-only flights.

Venezuela is going to give an island to New Jersey. Wait, what?
