IT'S EARTH DAY

Are you as pumped as I am? About Earth Day, that is. This is like Christmas Day to OwlGore. Princess Pelosi wants to make sure that this time next year, America is celebrating the expansion of our imperial federal government. But don't worry ...it will all be in the name of climate change!

Barack Obama and the Democrats are determined to make people more dependent on the government. This is how they retain power. I've been telling you this was on the way for ten years .. and here we are. There really isn't enough bandwidth to cover all of the grand government expansion plans the Democrats have right now. One, of course, is government healthcare. Another is creating a massive government system to regulate climate change. With "global warming" legislation comes the promise of new welfare programs. After all, it is a proven fact that climate change legislation is going to increase the cost of energy in this country. But this isn't a concern to Democrats for two reasons. One .. because ignorant voters will continue to vote for them based on the fact that they brought real change to our government and are trying to prevent the world from a total meltdown! The other is because the Democrats will create entitlement programs to ensure that the poor, poor pitiful poor and the parasite (Democrat) class do not see any energy cost increases.

Pretty clever, huh? But Nancy and her minions are determined to pass climate change legislation this year.

Meanwhile, our government schools are ensuring that we are raising a generation completely brainwashed into believing in this man-made global warming hoax. A new survey shows that one out of every three American children between the ages of six and 11 fear that our planet will not exist when they grow up. Guess who is the most anxious about an Al Gore-scripted apocalypse? Minority children. 75% of black children and 65% of Hispanic children believe that the earth will be "irrevocably damaged" by the time they are adults. Your government at work.

I guess South Carolina's James Clyburn is right ... global warming does seem to affect minorities more than whites.

The issue of the Bush memos being released isn't going to die anytime soon, especially with Barack Obama opening up the possibility of prosecution of Bush officials who approved such interrogation techniques. We are talking about this asinine assertion that waterboarding is torture.

I'll say this again - and you'll groan again - but if someone has information that could save thousands of lives, wouldn't you do anything you could to get that information? Pull out the bamboo shoots. Dump water over the guy's head. Poke 'em in the eye. You do everything you can until he talks. That's why this whole "torture" debate is such nonsense. You can sit on your high horse and bemoan torture all you want, but if it is the life of someone you cherish on the line my guess is that you are suddenly in the mood to make exceptions.

In the case of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the September 11th mastermind ... that's exactly what the CIA did. And guess what? It worked. Because the CIA waterboarded this Islamic goon, he revealed information that led the US government to thwart a planned attack on Los Angeles.

If that attack had gone through, or if other attacks since had culminated in the death of just one American at the hands of these Muslim goons ... I wonder what the virtuous Barack Obama would have to say.

OBAMA'S WORST CABINET APPOINTMENT

After careful analysis, and many instances of mind-numbing stupidity ... I have determined that Janet "Nitwit" Napolitano is Barack Obama's worst cabinet appointment. Just take this little moment she had over the weekend. An interview on CNN has Napolitano explaining why Democrats want to investigate Sheriff Joe out there in Maricopa County Arizona. See if you can catch what is so blatantly wrong with this statement:

Well, you know, Sheriff Joe, he is being very political in that statement, because he knows that there aren't enough law enforcement officers, courtrooms or jail cells in the world to do what he is saying.

What we have to do is target the real evil-doers in this business, the employers who consistently hire illegal labor, the human traffickers who are exploiting human misery.

And yes, when we find illegal workers, yes, appropriate action, some of which is criminal, most of that is civil, because crossing the border is not a crime per se. It is civil. But anyway, going after those as well.

Did you catch it? Ok, I'll spell it out for you: "crossing the border is not a crime per se." And this is from our head of Homeland Security? Hey, Amigos! All you people down there on the border just waiting to cross! Forget about visas! Forget about going to those pesky and troublesome little checkpoints. Just walk on over! It's not like that is illegal or anything! Viva Napolitano!

SPEAKING OF GOVERNMENT HACKS

What more can you say about Slobbering Barney Frank? I mean, when you strain to understand the guy, you realize that there isn't much point ... his thought process is about as mushy as his syllables.

So Barney was making a speech ... wait, people PAY to hear this guy speak??? Anyway, Barney was making a speech at the National Low Income Housing Coalition. And get this. Barney tried to blame this entire mortgage meltdown on George Bush. I kid you not! Barney said that it was "a Bush-era policy to help low-income families become homeowners instead of renters contributed to the sub-prime mortgage crisis and, ultimately, the larger economic crisis now confronting the country." How blatant! The policy was promoted by Bush, to be sure ... but it originated under Clinton and was promoted by none other than Barney Frank himself!

But don't worry. It's Barney Frank to the rescue! He says, "We will do everything legally possible to preserve every unit of affordable (rental) housing." Yeah. It's the government's job to make sure that people can obtain affordable housing. Amazing stuff, isn't it folks?

Remember ... if you're not part of the parasite class, when you go out there to rent or buy a place to live, find out where these government-subsidized living units are, and get as far away from them as you possibly can. Unless, that is, you enjoy living around criminals and druggies.

The federal thought crimes bill is back. You can call it the hate crimes legislation. Whatever floats your boat --- but what these laws do is punish thought, not criminal activity. Rep. John Conyers (a Democrat) and Rep. Mark Kirk (a Republican) have re-introduced H.R. 1913 - the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009.

This particular thought crimes bill addresses sexual preferences. You know: gay, lesbian, transgendered, confused ... all of that. In this column Matt Barber describes the bill as, "a thinly veiled effort to ultimately silence - under penalty of law - morally, medically and biblically based opposition to the homosexual lifestyle." As of right now, thanks to the 14th Amendment, victims of violent crime are currently afforded equal protection under the law regardless of sexual preference. Apparently this bill would change that.

Wait! There's more! Another thought crimes bill is swimming in the cesspools of congress that would make homeless people a protected species. Before long the only people you can attack out there without triggering some extra punishment will be white, straight, protestant males with places to live.

Wouldn't it be nice if I could put a nice little educational item on the Nuze everyday for you homeschooling parents? I would say I'll try ... but I'm lousy at followthrough.

Anyway ... here's a link you can use to teach your child the strangeness of the number 6! I wonder who sat down and figured this one out.

Were you at one of those tea parties last week? Maybe you would be interested to know that the chairman of the New Hampshire Democrat Party says you were part of an "unhinged mob."

Are any of you really freaking surprised about the 20 bailout fraud cases currently being investigated.

President Obama says that he is open to prosecution of Bush officials who wrote the memos approving "harsh interrogation tactics," including waterboarding.

Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank are eager to begin investigating Wall Street and its evil, greedy, capitalist practices.

Obama officially signed the national service bill into law yesterday. The cost of this bill?$5.7 billion.

According to a spokesperson from La Raza ... money inspires the anti-immigration rhetoric of talk radio hosts.

You'll be happy to know that socialist thug Hugo Chavez has declared that socialism has begun to reach the United States under the Obama administration.

Iowa Rep. Steve King went there .. comparing Obama's policies towards private businesses to those of Hugo Chavez.

The top 10 recipients of the $700 billion bailout spent about $9.5 million on federal lobbying during the first couple months of this year.

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom is going to run for governor of California.

So what's the deal with Obama and black farmers?

The Labor Department has decided to throw some love to the unions by repealing a last minute Bush regulation that would have increased scrutiny of union finances to help root out financial corruption.

John McCain is going to have some competition in his next primary. The founder of the Minuteman project has thrown his hat into the ring.

Republicans are really urging Barack Obama to reconsider closing down Gitmo. Fat chance.

In true government fashion ... poor New Yorkers are getting paid for "good behavior."

Only government would paint zig-zag lines on a road in order to make drivers slow down.
