Today on the show we are going to talk to the Lord Monckton. He's from Great Britain, and he is internationally renowned for his critical view of global warming. He publicly challenged OwlGore to an open debate on climate change, and can you guess the response? OwlGore ignored him. Go figure. Because when you are trying to defend something that know cannot be scientifically proven you don't want to get into a debate with someone like Lord Monckton. So we are going to have him on the show today at 10:35 EDT.

What do I call him? Lord? Well, anyway ... the Lord is coming to the Neal Boortz show in the first hours of syndication.

And speaking of global warming. One of our favorite global warming moonbats is at it again. Do you remember James Hansen of NASA's Goddard Institute? He's the one that has been called an embarrassment to NASA for his blind belief in this global warming hoax. Anyway, Hansen has his boxers in a bunch because the democratic process isn't working fast enough to appease his global warmers. He says that corporate lobbying has undermined democratic attempts to curb carbon pollution. Hansen says, "The democratic process is supposed to be one person one vote, but it turns out that money is talking louder than the votes. So, I'm not surprised that people are getting frustrated. I think that peaceful demonstration is not out of order, because we're running out of time."

If you missed our little chat with Lord Monckton, we're going to put it in next week's Boortz Blast newsletter. If you don't already get it, sign up here.

on the subject of global warming... I am sure you have seen the ads for the lights out hour coming up. Use this link to see how a neighbour to the north plans to celebrate:

Looking at some of this guy's work, he has no idea what he is talking about. His arguments lack any basis in facts or even a general understanding of relevant issues. I guess some associate a British accent and peerage with intelligence, but that's about as much as this guy's got in terms of credibility.

I mean, yes, you can make baseless assertions on false logic, use blatantly false information, or even bring up McCarthyist nonsense, but none of that effectively refutes overwhelming evidence of climate change, and the vast preponderance of evidence for an at least partially anthropogenic cause.

The reality is that most of the climate change denying "scientists" are being funded by oil companies. Most of the greater denial movement is either a cynical attempt by large corporations to prevent regulation of CO2 output or a purely, and almost bizzarely, ideological attempt to refute the idea that those corporations could ever be harmful to our environment.

Also, nothing can be scientifically proven. However, evidence has shown beyond any practical doubt that we are contributing to harmful climate change.

Maybe we'll see some progress in the future without an executive administration that silences scientists who try to publish findings about climate change (despite theoretically not denying the phenomenon).
  • CO2
Carbon dioxide is not pollution. This scam takes money and attention away from serious environmental issues - clean water, deforestation, etc.
  • Debate
I hope that he will continue to press Gore on a debate, something needs to be done to squash this Global Warming, uh I mean Climate Change Cult. It is an excuse to tax us more, give more power to the gov'nt and put taxpayers further down the path of being wards of the gov'nt.
  • Lord Monckton
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Fantastic interview, Neal. You guys hit it off quite nicely. The loud pipes dialogue was a great bonus, too. I hope you can get him to cross the pond and pay you a live visit in the studio. Brilliant! Well done! Bravo!
  • Lord Monckton
Ya see,Neal?..I told you he would tell you to dispense with the formalities....top drawer fellow isnt he?
  • Warming the Globe
I love the whole "how dare you question Global Warming" reaction from the 'Globies'. I have been equated with a 'holocaust denier' by a family member.I have worked outside for the last 35 years. I can tell you what we had in the 70's, the early 80's, the late 80's, on up through the last 5 years. I watch the weather, always have. Aren't I as qualified as Al Gore? I think so. Where's my Nobel Prize? And if Lord Monckton challenges the theory with his background, that's good enough for me. If the whack jobs who do believe want to get their boxers in a bunch over we infidels, that's just gravy! How are those brave but foolish explorers who started out to look for ice melting at the North Pole doing? Have the Polar bears picked up their scents yet? It doesn't take an expert to sniff out B.S.
  • Please sav the interview
I, too, will be unable to listen. Please have the audio posted on the website. Some of your best interviews from the past have been.
  • Monckton
damn! I'll be in the air when this is running. What about a podcast, Neal?

  • Lord Monckton
According to "Debrett's Correct Form",Viscount Monckton should be addressed either as "Your Lordship" or "M'lord (My Lord)"....but this particular Peer of the Realm doesn't stand on formality and will most likely tell you to dispense with all that
