Demmies, Rush, Neal, Sean, and all like minded conservatives are speaking of Barry's polices when we say we want him to fail. It is far more likely that the sun will not rise tomorrow than it is that The One will see the light. So by saying we want Obama to fail, we are saying we want his policies to fail, plain and simple.

Last night, I caught some of PMSNBC. I had to think long and hard about my position here because I actually agreed with Pat Buchannon (sp?) when Pat kept questioning if maybe the Administration would be better off focusing on fixing the economy that Rush? On second thought, I guess not. The less they think about the real problems we face, the less damage they can accomplish.

Careful folks, liberals/progressives are intolerant of disent and vindictive when they don't get their way.

My opinion of this is that this more than just a statement made by Rush. It seems to me that they are testing a strategy of silencing any and all opposition.

The Republican party is on the ropes (their own fault really) and the Dems want to keep it that way. If they can browbeat Rush into eventual silence, they will use that as a template to go after other talk radio hosts who tweak the liberal's nose on a daily basis and have for the past 20+ years.

Stop participating in the economy. I am stopping any spending other than for food, medicine, utilities and gasoline. Everything else ...not going to buy...no stocks, no bonds, no cars, no appliances, no entertainment, no furniture...not going to spend a dime...perhaps a gun or two and ammo..but nothing else. If every conservative would step out of the economy for the next 6 months...this creep would be forced to give up his drive to socialism because socialism relies on our money to operate. To Rush (not Limbaugh, but the moron speaks below) -- Sheesh, in Boortz' article on this subject he CLEARLY points out what Limbaugh said (to paraphrase ... if BO wants to turn this into a socialist society, I hope he fails) and that makes perfect sense. Again .. anyone with half a brain knows that socialist policies are UNSUSTAINABLE over time ... open a book and read and then point out even ONE socialist society that has survived more than 150 or 200 years. Like Neal, like Rush L., I too hope Obama fails in his mission to turn one of the greatest experiments in Freedom into a socialist Slave state where everyone is dependent on the government. Well, it is a good thing that Obama does not want to do any of the things you have suggested. Obama does not want this to be a socialistic or communistic nation. He does not want to "ration" health care. Seriously, where do you guys get this stuff?

Actually, the one who has already failed is Michael Steele, the RNC chairman. His remarks about Rush were correct, in saying he was an "entertainer", and the remarks were "incendiary" (which can be a good thing). But when Mr. Steele was confronted, he folded and apologized...When someone makes a statement, it's usually what they really think. Backing down from an "entertainer", after a correct analysis, shows he doesn't have the guts to lead anything.

Neal, I disapointed. You should see this whole fracus to be exactly what it is. It's Marty McFly saying 'What is that?', it's the magician's gloved left hand. It's all just something to distract the attention of everyone while the Obama administration and the rest enact their agenda.

Well, there's a great example of lack of intelligence...or maybe initiative...and not taking a moment of time to learn the truth about the subject matter. Rush is off the pain-killers (BTW, a common addiction among those who experience back surgery that doesn't totally relieve the pain) and he is respected because he doesn't compromise his principles. You don't have to agree with him but he doesn't hide what he believes.

As to corruption, show me one example that Rush is involved in corruption. Yeah, good luck with that.

I completely agree with Rush on this. Government intervention is what got us in this mess and Obama/Pelosi/Reed wanting more is making things much worse. Just look at the stock market since it became apparent that Obama had the best chance of winning the election.

The one thing I have a question about is the numbers for the statement about Obama proposing more spending in 6 weeks than has been spent from the founding of the country to his inauguration. Not saying I don't believe it's true, just haven't seen any hard numbers.

The man should at least wear a tie.
