Did you hear about these protesters in Connecticut over the weekend? Some protestors went to the houses of AIG executives in Connecticut and they came up with this brilliant battle-cry ...

"Money for the needy, not for the greedy!" Now there are some brilliant government-educated ignoranuses for you.

Are these people really this brain dead? There is no doubt that these were Obama voters. If you heard some of the comments from the protesters, they spoke of "sharing the wealth" and moaned about the size of the houses. (That's called wealth envy, by the way.)

And then we find out this little piece of information about these protests. They were organized by The Connecticut Working Families Party. And guess what? It turns out that this party was jointly founded by ...... ACORN! Imagine my surprise.

What others are saying

  • AIG
Neal, you MISSED THE POINT of PresBO's "$75K" comment.

He is CORRECT! $500K is NOT a lot of money in the artificially inflated economy of New York City. EVERYTHING costs twice as much in NYC than anywhere else in the US.
A house that sells for $125K in North Dakota would sell for at least $500K in NYC.
  • Neak should hotlink this webcomic for the Nuze
    http://xkcd.com/558/
30 seconds and a sip of wine, that's not enough time to even get a kiss!

Yes, he allows hotlinking, and I think the Nuse would be a good test of his server, but better save as a local image first, just in case.
  • Wealth envy
Neal, the next time you get an idiot demanding the "fair" distribution of money, ask them to apply it to the evil, repugnant Doctor who lost his children and grand children in Montana today, flying to their millionaire retreat! Let the stammerin' begin!
  • AIG, stupid politicians, even more a stupid media
With all the fuss about AIG, not one media pundit, and not one politician has mentioned that these bonuses will be taxed at around a 50% level. Why hasn't one media person said this. Who hasn't had worked overtime and seen their check get gobbled up by extra taxes tp the point one wonders why do the hard work? It is amazing that no one, and I mean no one has mentioned these folks live in one of the highest taxed areas of the nation, and the levels of federal income tax will allow Barney Frank to open his man whore house again with all the trimmings.
  • Bus riding mob
I hope anyone who happened to be home when these buses went by flip them the bird.
  • Connecticut Protesters
Actually these protesters are just recalling Jesse Jackson's "They're taking from the needy and giving to the greedy" anti-Reagen tax cuts remarks. How original!
  • Mailboxes
"Tamperin' with mailboxes is a Federal offense!"
    -Dazed and Confused
  • Sorry in advance
But there were reasons THEN the people heard: You shall not steal, you shall not murder, you shall not covet, honor your father and mother, etc.

They may be religious in origin, but breaking any of the rules above results in an unproductive and unhappy society even now. Stealing and murder are common law problems today. The others are just attitude problems which may lead to stealing and murder. Go figure.

I think some people are especially having problems with the "do not covet" rule.

Can't we all just get along?
    (Liberalism is a mental disorder...)
  • evil in the world.
Evil and good always exist.. but when good does nothing..evil runs amock.

thats whats happening here.. the good hard working people are not standing up against the "gimme gimme" crowd of excited communists lead like sheep by power hungry organizations like Acorn.. who was Acorn's lawyer again? oh yea.. OBAMA WAS! hrmm..

When are we, the good hard working people in this country who dont spend our time demanding free money (why werent these protestors AT WORK instead of standing outside a house yelling?) going to stand up for our rights and justice against this tyranny lead by narcissistic leaders who use the raving drooling idiocy of their hoardes of indoctrinated soldiers as weapons against us and lead this country back in the direction of its founding principles?
  • THE WEALTH-ENVY CROWD
If they are so jealous of the "wealthy" then why don't they get their lazy asses to work and become wealthy. Then they can call the shots and have some useful clout, instead of looking like idiots.
As the President has found out, "with power there is profound responsibility." This Country is not a basketball game, or is it a fake world of the celebrity.
Let's get real life as if our futures depended on it!
  • Getting Dangerous Here
I'm in CT. The protestors visiting people's house is outright dangerous. Just imagine, a group of people- knowing nothing about you or your neighbors, drive up to yell at someone on your street. If you drive by and tell them to go home, they might take you on too. It's not fun, nor funny. A friend of ours works for AIG and they are receiving death threats daily, eventhough her division is going out of business within six months (not the one that drove them into debt BTW). So she's out of a job and get's the bonus of being tormented by people whom don't like that her company is getting bailed out. How about they review their own companies, oh, I guess McDonalds doesn't need bailouts. My bad.
  • bumper stickers
ever notice 95% of obama bin lyin stickers are on foreign cars? God forbid if a lib actually supported America for once.
  • How is it?
How is it the protestors are outside the houses so long? Don't they have checks in the mail to pick up, or six pack and lotto tickets to buy? Or soap operas and (D)Oprah to watch?
Wow. I would like to know how they can handle that tough schedule.
  • Unemployed protesters
Several of the protesters interviewed were also unemployed. Rather than out looking for a job, they are out telling their sob story of how they or their spouse is unemployed and that they deserve the money that these rich people have. Maybe they would have more money if they didn’t go around protesting and actually worked.
  • Are we doomed?
How long before these people start protesting in front of houses owned by the folks who make $70K or more annually? I can only hope that we are not falling into the same trap that the Russian people fell into in 1917 lead on by Lennin.
  • Aren't there any kids in that neighborhood?
I bet they could buy a lot of eggs and tomatoes on their allowances, throw in a few waterballoon launchers, and the acorn goons might quicky find a place they would rather be. I guess we were a little more independent and proactive when I was a kid, Animal Control wouldn't even come in our neighborhood.

Why aren't the local police doing their job?

My apologies to the unfortunate County Animal Control Officers we pelted with things that could have injured when I was a kid (I've felt bad about that for a long time). There wasn't always time to get suitible ammo by the time you were spotted and the alarm went up.

What chaps me is taxpayer money is being used to finance acorn these rent a mobs they put out. And guess what? They are eligible for more money from that new $4 billion fund the dp just set up for Fifth Columnists like them.
  • And just who organized the bus tour?
Why... none other than greedy capitalists who saw a chance to make some money and went for it!
  • reason for living
Let the liberals have their fun, I say. They live for protesting against the man, especially if the man happens to be old and white.

Liberals are all about vanity. Ever see a car with 10 bumper stickers? Guess who's driving it? A liberal. "Look at meeeee!! I'm a non-comformist. I matter."
  • jake
you beat me to it!!! LOL
  • Leaving Notes in Mailboxes
You know, Mary Huguley and those that put letters in U.S. Postal Service mailboxes without proper postage is a federal offense. But then I guess the rules don't apply to them.
  • Calling all Obamabots
Did they distribute pitchforks and straw hats to the peasants as well?

    Flashbacks to 1917 Russia...
  • Turn the tables
Imagine ...hard working Americans taking bus tours, standing out in front of 2nd, 3rd generation welfare families' homes.

The message? "You people have been receiving OUR money for years! Get off your bleeping arses and get a bleeping job! You've been living off of the rest of us for decades! We are sick and tired of your "stealing" our money! START GIVING INSTEAD OF STEALING!!!"

Of course, I don't think the welfare recipients would like this one bit.

What is happening to the AIG members reminds me of the overthrow of the Czars and those who had professional careers in Russia - mob rule fueled by hate left the ruling class and the successful upper class dead. We haven't seen "dead," yet.
  • Photo & Mailbox
Love the story's photo. Just a reminder for ACORN, because I know how they always follow the law.
"Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits any mailable matter ... which no postage has been paid, in any letter box established... shall for each such offense be fined under this title." US Code, TITLE 18, PART I, CHAPTER 83, § 1725
  • Stupid and shortsighted
Who does Emmeline Hyphen-something think would hire her as a gardener, if not some "greedy" person with a huge house? Duh!
  • Irony
Since you failed to understand ignoranus I'll explain my name.

    BenD over
and take it. Your government is about to really give it to you. Just grab your ankles, grit your teeth 'cause here it comes...

Shall I draw you a picture?
  • Wealth Envy, Irony
Irony, ignorant+anus=ignoranus. Not a real word but not a typo. More proof that libs are devoid of any sense of humor or *gasp* IRONY.

By the way, Liberalhater used the word retarded in an insulting context which is now okay since our beloved Teleprompter-in-Chief has cleared that once for us.

And based on this article: why are these fools not protesting the liberal Congress and leadership in Washington who okayed the bonuses in the first place?

I am completely on Boortz's side about the wealth envy aspect. Never have I seen a level of hatred for successful people as I am seeing now. It's sickening.
  • Irony missed it
    What an ignoranus!
  • @Irony-They are "Ignorant" "anuses".

The media chose to report on the 40 people at the AIG protest and not the 300 at the Tea Party in Fairfield County.
  • AIG Protesters
I was watching footage of these protesters on Fox and CNN and I couldn't help but have a very un-PC thought:

Hey! Dorks! Think maybe if you'd been putting this much effort into your own job (assuming any of you have one) you might be at the point of getting nice, fat bonuses.

Oh, man. If you missed St Petersburg in 1917, here's another chance.
  • Follow the money
I hate the fact that my money went to pay bonuses to the very people that created AIG's disaster. However, the Obama administration was aware of the impending bonus payments before they wrote the check to AIG. Did anyone tell the protesters this? Or, does anyone think they might give a rat's rear end? "To everyone according to his needs".
  • Dimwits!
What you've wrote of is a true example of wealth envy...those who would take from others what they didn't earn.

Argh! There should have been a nice counter-protest of folks with signs saying "Go Earn It, Losers!"
  • Lynch Mobs
Did you hear what the ignorant morons the MSM interviewed said? This country is soooo screwed unless we take it back from the dumb masses......
  • Irony's comment
You might want to take a look at the words before you make an ignoranus comment.
  • Acorn
Acorn is the new KKK. They seem to only see greed at the upper end of the income scale when there is massive greed at the bottom end. In the meantime Obama can't get over acting like an out of control Lottery winner and spending like a Drunken Sailor. Be glad when he gets over the giggles. Beginning to think he has been smoking some weed.
  • Needy not Greedy
What's more "greedy" than demanding someone else's money?
  • "Ignoranuses"
Might want to make sure you can spell before you insult peoples' intelligence, Boortz.
  • The Battle Hymn of the Mediocre
Yeah, Neal, the protestors were out with their signs and exercised their right to crash on anyone who has accomplished something beyond, well, carrying protest signs. It's the American way! I have a little problem with paying bonuses to the AIG folks. Just a little problem, though. Only because I do think you shouldn't be getting a bonus when your division ( or your company )isn't performing. But these people marching in the streets...if it were Union leaders getting bonuses, would they still be ranting and waving signs? Not likely. The Left needs to drop the phony outrage, it's wearing really thin. Get outraged at the poor leadership coming from Congress, you know, the Democrat controlled Congress. And the Whitehouse! The President goes gladhanding and yukking it up on the Westcoast, if that had been Bush, he would have been tarred and feathered by the Press. Now that is something to get riled up about!
  • Copyleft and Hugo's Ghost
Of course they're that braindead Neal. Look at Copyleft and Hugo's Ghost. They give us, first hand sight into the retarded nature of these people.
