... and I love it! This one is a bit lengthy, but I think you will enjoy.

Name: Christian
Subject: Nationalized health care
You should be ashamed of you're self!! You single minded selfish bigots. All you care about is Money and power! you're un accurate and one sided analysis of the national health care system in Great Britain is indicative of you scared selfish old men. Thanks god young America has woken up and are pushing you pathetic excuses for American's off you're soap boxes!

Of course the national health care systems in Europe are not perfect, as soon as one negative fact surfaces your type always make a big deal, but what about the bad things that happen with you're perfect private system, the kids that die because the Insurance companies will not pay for what they call experimental techniques or the 10's of millions that cant afford insurance, but have lived the American dream, bought a house or a car only to have it taken away to pay for a medical bill. Or just get substandard health care.

Oh but taxes will go up.... I pay over $700 a month for my wife and one child who are all healthy, are you going to tell the American people that our taxes wiull go up more than that, i earn $80'000 a year in my own small business. What happens if god forbid one of my family get sick, i loose my business and my insuranbce... I am doomed and so is my family. You think about the 100'00's of thousandfs that that has happened to as you sit in you're chair and preach you're Bull to us!!

Do you think the rest of the industrilsed world want Americans to get nationalized health care... Hell no the burden to US businesses for health care is what is keeping there companies from being competitive.

Tell us why US heath care is ranked by the WHO 37 just under Costa Rica .......You carry on lying and brain washing the American people. You pathetic excuse for a Human!!!

What others are saying

  • Government education, government health care
This guy obviously wants the same stellar government performance in the form of government health care that it managed with his education.
  • This Supporter
This guy needs to go back to English class. Boy, I hope that the business plan and mission statement for his "small business" don't look as bad as this anti-capitalism rant. For one who supposedly thrives because of his work in the private sector, he sure is quick to decide that government is the answer for "health-scare." Yes, I intentionally wrote it that way for a reason.
  • You have to be kidding me!!!
    Take heed all!!!

Government schools finely tuned Christian so he was able to present his thoughtful, pointed and articulate argument... NOT!!!
  • Universal Health Care
I think the fact that Obama wants to make the men and women of our military pay for their own medical care, though private insurance, when wounded in the line of duty says everything that needs to be said about government run health care. If he's willing to deny health care to soldiers wounded in battle then you know he won't hesitate to cut anyone else off as well.
  • Dear Christian
Please move to Europe then and pray that you never get cancer or some deathly disease that requires expensive medicine. I'm sure you'll LOVE it when they tell you that you're going to die because the "10's of millions" as you put it, can't afford the cost of your expensive life saving medication. It's just not in the budget, they'll say.

It happens everyday over in England and other countries, but since you're too lazy to turn on the spell check in your browser, I'm willing to bet you're too lazy to read the news stories that report that happening.

You're the one who is selfish for wanting everyone else to pick up the tab for your healthcare. I'm an independent contractor and I pay for my own health insurance, so I don't want to even hear your pathetic self centered whining. Universal health care is the last thing I would ever want.

Please go move to Europe and experience socialized medicine firsthand. Don't come crawling back either.
  • Get Rid of Mandatory Licensing
I believe that the real problem with our healthcare system is that physicians and other healthcare professionals have basically created a monopoly through the use of mandatory licensing. It is used to make barriers to entry difficult. With less people allowed into the field, the greater the demand for their services. Greater demand means increased costs and a bigger house for the physician that really is not truly part of our capitalist system. The solution should be to still have medical licensing, but that it should not be mandated. A person should be able to make up their own mind as to whether or not they wish to see a licensed doctor. Also, if the doctor commits a medical error, a harmed individual could still go through the legal process. For those of you that argue that this does not protect the children, then perhaps mandatory licensing should be in effect for the treatment of children, but let adults choose for themselves. However, it is my belief that the AMA will never let this happen. There is just too much money to be made. It is sad that a doctor will save you physically, but ruin you financially.
  • My two cents...
I used to work for a company that paid the entire health insurance premium for their employees and it was amazing how many people would demand a raise because they could make "a buck or two" more an hour down the street. When we would point out the fact that the other company didn't offer insurance at all and what would happen if their wife or kids (usually 2 or 3) got sick or hurt. Without fail they would say "you just go to the emergency room and say you can't pay." So how many of the "uninsured" in this coutry are that way simply because they choose to be?
  • Social Disease
My wife works in a surgery center in Augusta GA. She has been a Nurse Manager for nine years. We have a tradition in our house to always find some humor in our day. Everyday she has the best stories to tell. Here are two short complaints of hers. Rotten Teeth Tuesday, Every Tuesday her surgery center does a procedure taht extracts rotten teeth from children that are usually younger than six. WHY?

The parents do not bother to teach good brushing habits at home. The broodmare usually says this to the nursing staff, He don't like to brush, so I don't fight him. Who pays for this surgery which is about $970.00 on average from GA Medicaid? We do. By the way, they did 31 kids today.

Next complaint: Every person that she talks to at this hospital that is a Govt. freeloader has a mobile phone. Why should I have to pay for their rotten little crumbsnatchers when they have a Mobile phone? The inmates are running the asylum.
  • To Christian
Learn some grammer and spelling. Oh, and look up the word parasite and see if it fits your mindset.
  • hate mail
I would like to know what type of business this person owns. Judging from his grammer and writing skill, I have my doubts about his knowlege of the overall business world.
  • US HealthCare Ranking
One of the forgotten or at best, unreported facts that keep our health care system ranked below some of these third world and socialist systems is that we count all of our patient outcomes... good, bad or indifferent. If we want a better system then we need to free our Doc's from the litigation of malpractice with a loser pays the court cost. And here in NC we need to get rid of the Certificate of Need restrictions to allow for more competition.
  • Health care
This guy is self- employed??? How can he run a business when he can't even type with proper grammar?
  • Freedom vs. Security
Spell check or no, this guy is willing to trade freedom for security. Or worse, imagined security... and he deserves neither.
  • I am currently in the US Navy. We have a health care system that is government run... I gladly seek out other physicians that will accept my money and give me better treatment. Advocates of government run anything should join the military for a few years. It is not a wise choice.
  • Well:
A: Costa Rica has an EXCELLENT health care system.
    And...
B: You so affluent and you can't spell?
  • WHO?
Since when does the WHO classify as a major source? I thought they were a joke. Like when someone says "Wikipedia says..."
  • British National Health Care
I lived in England for three years as a military spouse. I saw British television. A bed-wetting 8 year-old boy who had been wheeled into the operating room THREE times--and all stopped because no money was available to proceed with a simple procedure to cure his problem. A young girl in her 30s who was "too young" for a hip replacement and an elderly lady "too old" for a hip replacement. It was pitiful and sad to hear their stories.
  • Hate Letter
What amazes me is that he claims to be a small business owner. An eighth grader would be better at grammar, word usage and spelling. Awful!!!
  • Callin' shenanigans.
Owns an $80k/year and can't afford health insurance?

Yeah, right buddy. Go watch Oprah until your shift starts at Burger World.
  • 700 a month?
You own your own business, shop around. Are you and your family sick enough to warrant that? Get yourself a catastrophic policy that will insure yourself in case of something that requires hospitalization then start an MSA or negotiate with your doctor. You can get care much cheaper if you just pay cash.

Insurance should be for the times where you couldn't reasonably pay for care yourself, not for every runny nose or sniffle.
  • Socialized Health Care
I am a US Navy veteran and I'm currently in college to get my degree in nursing. When will people realize that healcare is a priveledge not a right. While I do believe that our healthcare system needs some reform, I do not for one second believe that the government can solve any problem it touches. I have seen government healthcare both in the Navy and out of it, and there is a reason I use private insurance for my healthcare needs... its better.
  • Obviously he doesn't run an editing business with the grammar, punctuation and spelling errors. And, yes, if he makes $80K/year he could probably expect his taxes to go up about $700/month to pay for standardized health care.
  • What a DB!
I love how people like this guy pretend that his concern is for and I quote "the 10's of millions that cant afford insurance." This guy is obviously just tired of paying for his own healthcare and scared that he might lose his income. I don't blame him either. I'd be nervous in this economy too if I had this guys obvious lack of education. He cares nothing about others, he only cares about himself. If he did care about everyone else he would see that we're facing a serious drop in the standard of care we'd be recieving in this country through socialized medicine.
  • Nationalized Healthcare
$80,000?! Obviously, his job entails no report or letter writing.
That said, the left absolutely ripped on the federal government for incompetence after Katrina. Amazing that these simpletons, who agreed government is inefficient, want government to handle their retirement and healthcare. Morons.
  • Good argument for birth control
I see dumb masses know how to use e-mail but not spell check.
  • Nationalized Health Care
Here's what I don't understand about the clamor for Nationalized Health Care (i.e. Gov't run Health Insurance).

The people crying for it the loudest are most likely the same people who were screaming about the Federal Gov't listening in on overseas cell phone calls and perhaps looking into what you read at the library. Now here's where I get confused. They decry government snooping into their private lives yet they're not only willing but eager to turn over their entire medical history to that very same Federal Gov't. Not only that but they want it managed by the same folks managing the IRS, FEMA, and the US Postal Service. Also keep in mind you can sue a private insurance company. You can't sue the Federal Gov't.
  • What a DB!

  • I still can't figure out how much this guy earns.
So does he earn $80.00/yr, $8,000.00/yr? What? Because I don't know what 80'000 is. Maybe it is that new government school arithmetic.

He also told Neal to "...think about the 100'00's...". Drawing a blank here as well.
  • Christian must be a panhandler.
I quit believing anything the UN says in grade school.
  • WTF?
just wondering... how many is 100,00s. 100's of thousands? 100's of Tens?
  • Spell/Grammar check?
Wow, if this guy would learn to spell and use proper punctuation, he might find he's able to run his business better and make more money. Out of curiosity, if caring about money is so awful, what's this guy doing running a business? Should care about money much more than the bulk of us who don't own our own company? Just a thought.
  • Hate mail English major
If his math skills are equal to his grasp of the English language, perhaps he meant he makes $18,000.00 per year... oh wait, then he would already have Government healthcare
  • Nationalized Heathcare
What these "bedwetters" do not understand is that there cannot be any right for any human to heathcare....because a "right" can only exist if that right does not infringe on the rights of someone else. For healthcare to be a right,it must be provided by someone's time and property and that right of giving up that time and property only rests with that provider. They can do it for a fee, but the price of that fee rests as their choice. This basic principle just can never be ingrained into a liberal....liberal's feel they deserve healthcare so therefore it is a right.

Secondly, insurance is a "transfer of risk". It is not just a money tree growing in the back yard that an insurance company harvestd when you have a claim. For insurance to exist, there must be someone willing to take the other side of the "bet". The government now wants the otherside of the "bet" to put up UNLIMITED loss in return for a fixed premium. How many people out there are willing to take that bet? You put up an ustated and unlimited promise of your net worth and then some for a subjects' health? Any takers? And you have no say on how that subject lives, eats, breathes, drives, ect, nor their age, sex, habits, ect. Any takers of that bet? If insurance companies are so greedy and rich, why aren't millions of insurance companies popping up? My economics class said that for thousands of years, enterprises that are profitable attract competition?

If you want insurance to go down in price, we must find more entities willing to take this bet. Premium cannot be based on what someone can afford, but by the ability of it to actuarily generate enough funds to offset the costs. If costs are unlimited....you can bet that insurance premiums are going to be very high.
  • Healthcare and inability to spell
I must admit you had me there for a few sentences, but whenever I see someone spell loose when they mean lose, in my mind, they automatically loose 50 IQ points and my complete attention.

Put in another quarter and try again
  • Healthcare
I have worked in the Healthcare recruiting and consulting business for over 11 years. This argument always irritates me as I know first hand what will happen if we go to a National Health Insurance system. Simply put, what does "free" healthcare really mean if you can't get access to Healthcare? Why would a Family Practitioner or Internist accept less then $180,000 a year, which is about what they make these days. Why would anyone want to spend half of their life in school and in training, just to get a job where you have the priveledge of getting up in the middle of the night on "call" just to get what a good salesman with or without a 4 year degree could make? Do yourself a favor and google "Physician Shortage" and start feeding your eyes with the scary facts about where our nations Healthcare system is going. Add to that government intervention and I can promise you that the shortage will only get worse.

About 70% of Healthcare costs goes to the paperwork and redtape involved, not to the actual care provided. More government does not mean lower costs!
  • Response to Smooth Operator
You are the man! That is exactly my thinking! LOL!
  • Owns a small business?
It's no wonder that this guy is so worried about his healthcare. If he is running a small business earning only $80k per year, this "hate-mail" letter is only more proof that his business is not expanding. Who pays for incompetence in the private sector? That's the Federal Government's job!

If this guy is looking for some advice, I think he needs to get a job at some place that has a union. That'll be good for two reasons. 1) He'll get that "long-term" healthcare for his family without him paying a dime (other than union fees). 2) Let's keep all people that don't feel they have to actually work for or earn something together in one place so we can keep track of them.

Union dues are like cigarette taxes. It is a tax on the stupid.
  • Healthcare not a right
I am tired of hearing from people who rant about their situations in life expecting that the rest of us are then mystically obligated to pick up the slack.
Part of the problem is employer-subsidized insurance. When you have businesses buying up all of the individual policies (no doubt at a bulk rate) the pricing for people to purchase the same policy on their own then goes up because the demand for individual policies is low. Get employers out of the healthcare business then you will be able to afford to buy what you want and hopefully with the type of coverage you want.
I would like those who thump the "healthcare is a right" bible to turn the tables back on themselves. Do I have a right to your work output? Do I have a right to walk into your establishment and demand the fruits of your labor at a free or reduced cost while having the actual costs of your service or product hidden by a third party so that I can further exploit your product or service beyond what I reasonably need?
Healthcare is no different. It is a system of products and services provided by well educated indviduals. simply because your personal health is involved does not change the fundamental business nature of healthcare.
  • Sure...
I for one absolutely believe this guy owns his own business and that it is doomed; health care costs however are not the reason. His lack of basic understanding of grammar and spelling are what will bring down his lemonade stand.

He needs a nice government job raking leaves so he can make twice as much with benefits.
  • umm...ooookay
This guy needs a good book and a bubble bath to get all of the emo out.

I think a nice toaster bath would do the trick nicely.

You make us all look bad. Thanks for your .02 cents worth though! It's great entertainment for the masses.

I R NEW TOO ENGRISH BUT I NOWS EKONOMIKZ BETR THAN U!
  • Nationalized Health is a disaster
Live in Britain for 8 years. Needed an emergency appointment because I was showing signs of cancer.

The appointment was scheduled for 6 months later.

The NI tax was 10% of my $30,000 a year salary.
  • Something to Thinkabout
I do taxes part time. Self employed people pay higher taxes then the rest of us because they pay the business tax and the tax that every one pays. So I wonder if that $80K is after taxes or before. If it is before then the $80K is more like $50K to $60K. So it really isn't as much.
Another thought is this person chooses to be self employed were he has to pay out so much for insurance. It is his choose. Should we have to pay for the choose that someone else makes? To me NO!
He is so worried about losing everything that he doesn't realize the stuff that he is worried about losing is just stuff. The real important items would be his family. Families have been getting through hard times for - Oh - at least 3000 years. He need to focus on what is really important.

Well, just some thoughts on the subject.
  • Evidence that...
The world's intellect is a constant.

    The world's population is increasing.
  • hatemail
$80,000 a year? I never claimed to be good with the English language, but Christian needs to go back to backing groceries at the co-op.
  • Yes, I judge you when you use poor grammar.
If you have a gripe, at least use proper English.

Let's start with you're versus your. Here is YOUR 3rd grade English lesson free of charge from wikihow: http://www.wikihow.com/Use-You're-and-Your

The sad thing is, most computers highlight misspelled words as you type.

Apparently, as Neal would say, he must be government educated.
  • Gubment
wit gubment skools and gubment howzing dewin sew grate, i can si why ewed bee in favur of gubment healthkare.
  • Hate mail about health care.
Judging from the writing skills and his claim to make $80K, the writer of the hate mail has to be a drug dealer.
  • Christian
If that knucklehead makes 80K a year, I'm definitely in the wrong business.
  • Health care
This guy is a whiz with the English language.

    What a wit!
  • Since no one has pointed this out yet...
I have to say, is $700 really breaking the bank for someone (supposedly) making $80,000 per year? Sure, it's not cheap. But, judging by his grammar and spelling, it's not as if the guy has student loans to pay off in addition to health care. Plus, as others have pointed out, he could shop around, change his deductible (which would make a great deal of sense if he and his family are healthy as he suggests), etc.
  • Taxing aspirin
    Thanks! I needed the laugh!
  • Problem with WHO rankings,
I've looked into the WHO rankings and there are 2 major flaws I find in the ranking system. One is that they measure the effectiveness of the healthcare system by the average life expectancy of that county. For me there are too many confounding variables to contribute differences in the average life expectancy to the respective healthcare systems. For example the US has a higher auto fatality rate since we drive more, and that leads to a much lower life expectancy number.

The second problem I have is that the WHO rankings want everyone in the country to pay a similar % of their income to healthcare, instead of paying a similar amount for similar services. They want to see the people who make more money pay more for the same services that someone else receives just based on the fact that they make more money than the other person.

Those tow factors were both major points of the WHO study. If we really want to fix the problem we need to find a way to reduce healthcare costs, otherwise we'll just be overpaying through our taxes, and eventually the government will need to start rationing healthcare (like what has started happening in canada and the UK)
  • Health and Nonsense
For the last few decades our economy has largely been based on people getting sick. The deeper the government has gotten involved in it, the higher the costs have become and the call has naturally gone out for Washington to "help".

Rather than the feds exploiting the situation to create a control system that would eventually run all our lives, wouldn't it be a great day if the government got out of the health business altogether, allowed the free market to establish the cost of care and finally as far as paying for the services; if you make the bill, you pay the bill.

    Talk about change
  • European Healthcare
I guess Germany's healthcare is so good that 23% of their population feel that they need to supplement it with private healthcare?

England's is so good that there are dozens of jokes making fun of it (i.e. the English make fun of their own teeth).

In the Netherlands 38% of their population pay for private healthcare.

Why do people really think that the government can do anything efficiently? There is so much waste with the current programs, I couldn't stomach to see it expanded.

It has been said already, but I will address it myself. Allow doctors to practice medicine without the fear of being sued, and the prices will fall.
  • Hate mail
Wow! The English! Where did he not learn it??!
  • Business Owner?
I'm kind of curious to know what business he owns so that I never hire him. With English this poor, it is a shock that he is still in business at all.
  • Neal = victim
Neal, you poor victim of hate speech. I’m sure the party of personal responsibility is proud you did not let that attack stop you making that heartfelt apology to certain women in the very next segment of your Newz.
  • Hate Mail
80'000? I wonder if that's gross revenue or net profit, or whether our correspondent would know the difference.

Another fine example of successful "free" public education and indoctrination. The more we spend on the system, the worse the results...
  • that guy makes 80K?
I'm amazed anyone making 80 thousand a year would send in an email with such poor English.

I admit out system her in the U.S. isn't perfect. Far from it. However, going from what we have to Nationalized Healthcare is the wrong way to go.

Bad to worse doesn't make any more sense than leaving our current system alone.
  • christian's rant
i think it just goes to show that typing and drinking don't mix.
  • Christian's hate mail
The earlier comments pretty much covered my thoughts about the letter. If he's a successful small business owner, I'll be shocked... unless we now count drug dealers as small business. Interesting how he didn't capitalize "God", but did "human".
  • Steve and Tort Reform
The insurance costs for doctors and hospitals is only a smalllll fraction of the costs of these lawsuits. The real cost arises when doctors are required to perform 4 tests to rule out everything although they already know what the illness is. Doctors aren't allowed to pratice in the most common sense, economical way possible, instead they practice so they don't get sued.
  • Hate mail from Christian
WOW!! Me fail english? That's unpossible. You know that people are becoming less intelligent when they can't send a message via e-mail and not spell check it. Seriously, if you're mad enough to take the time and send a mail, hit spell check if you can't handle it on your own.
  • $80'000/year?
Gollee, Christian must flip a lot of burgers considering his functional illiteracy. But Christian, you can relax because I heard Obama is going to tax aspirin just like they do in Europe-- because it's white and it works.
  • Hate Mail
    loose = not tight

lose = no longer in possession
  • Hate mail
Come on, you've got to be joking. Nobody's English and grammer skills are that poor.
  • Nationalized Health Care
I see socialized medicine as two issues:
    1) Unconstitutional - Socialized medicine requires the rationing of health care. That is a fact. Now, since the Constitution's 5th amendment states "No person shall ... be deprived of life, liberty...." Rationing health care deprives someone of their life. The 10th amendment states "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." There is now power granted to the imperial federal government to allow the government to control my health care.

    2) Immoral - It is immoral to require me to pay for someone's drug habit or lack of coordination when they run into a moving bus. I did not cause them to take drugs, nor did I push a person into the moving bus, so why am I having to pay for their health care? I live in TN, so why am I paying for someone in CA to have a baby? My money is my property; it's the result of my life's work. By using the police power of government to make me pay for someone's health care, you are taking a part of my life and giving it someone else. That is slavery. You are forcing me to take part of my life to pay for another person's well being.

Socialized medicine is unconstitutional and immoral. No wonder liberals want it so bad.
  • Hate mail from Christian
Wow the english language is tricky isn't it. So many word to choose from and in almost every case you pipcked the wrong one. Oh well I take solace in the fact that with only a couple of exceptions things were at least spelled correctly.

Think about this Christian you pay $700/month for your family's insurance well guess what you can continue to pay that and pay more in taxes for that nationalized health care you seem to care so much about. Let me know how that works out for you.
  • "Un accurate"
I think Christopher has "loosed" his mind.
  • The Hate Mail is picking back up...
I am so happy to see the ESL (English as a Second Language) classes are working out for this guy. How does one run a small business without realizing that there is no free lunch?

Regardless, I'll answer his question about being ranked 37th on the WHO list: We TRY to save everyone regardless of their chances. Four month premature babies to stage four terminal cancer - the US system will try and save them. Go to Costa Rica and see how far along that 4 month premature baby will go. The failures in the 99th percentile are what are dinging our score, not the level or availability of the care.
  • Hate Mail
This is a real shame, the writer must be a proud member of the dumb masses.
  • Hard to read
What a shame. The writer must be a proud member of the Dumb Masses.
  • Christian
Where was this idiot educated, and how can he make $80,000 a year?
  • Health Care Email
The writer states "...i earn $80'000 a year in my own small business...". It is apparent from the email that the money has not been made tutoring English.
  • Nothing Can Fix This Guy's Problem
Our health care system can be fixed, but as Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid."
  • Brave New World
I fear the onset of Huxley's Brave New World with the creation on a national health care system. We have already witnessed the an early attempt (Oregon I believe it was) where a cancer patient was initially denied payment for a life prolonging treatment, but informed the state would pay for his doctor assisted suicide. I can envision someday a young mother-to-be being informed that due to the detection of a genetic defect in her unborn child and the potential health issues and costs, the healthcare system would not cover her child but they would cover the cost of an abortion.

Financial control is a powerful influence.
  • Halfway there
Hang in there buddy, 'Hope' and 'Change' are coming your way! Obama promised both and by golly, he will try to deliver, whether we like it or not. Yea, cause the not so perfect Euro style healthcare is just what we need! As far as what you pay, shop it around, take a larger deductible or try health savings account. There are ways to keep from having to take a huge hit on your monthly premium. Don't look for government to have a viable solution. When has that ever been an answer? No offense, good for you that you own a business and make a (looks like)decent living. But don't expect real answers from career politicians. Gte together with other business owners in your industry and form a trade organization. I'm in landscaping, there is an excellent group that underwrites insurance for landscapers and other industries. It can be done. Just don't expect the government to do it for you. What part of that doesn't register?
  • Government Educated?
Apparently, this wonderful excuse for a human being is government educated. That was hard to read and (using similar wording) "un legible".
  • Costa Rica's health care
Costa Rica's health care is not nationalized. (You pay cash on the barrelhead.) The problem with health care in the US is too much government mandated coverage for private insurers. When (and it is "when") healthcare is nationalized, you can bet I will be taking advantage of the "medical tourism" industry.
  • Hate Mail / Christian
It is doubtful he has his own business, with his grammar he must be flipping burgers because he surely is not bright enough to talk with customers.
  • Speeling iz nawt hiz stroong poynt
So we are supposed to believe that the author of this letter owns his own successful business but is unable to properly spell? Not only that, but his facts are pretty wrong.

Hukd on foniks werkd four me!
  • Hate mail from Christian
I'm very surprised that someone like Christian can earn $80K/year with his language & spelling skills. Maybe he's a very successful dog walker...
  • we don't need insurance
We need tort reform. If people were not allowed to sue doctors and hospitals for hundreds of millions of dollars for 'bad' care then doctors insurance would cost less. If they paid less then Doctors would charge less for service and it would drop in price by half. Does anyone imagine it is allowable to sue the government in Britain for 'bad' care? No you cannot. If you do not like the care you got you leave. That is all.
  • Hate Mail
Christian; You shouldn't be busting Neals chops about what he says on his job.

After all, he doesn't throw rocks at you while you're out mowing lawns.
  • European healthcare
As if under a nationalized health care system the costs would be picked up for experimental treatments? They aren't in Europe now, nor will they be in the U.S.
