Obama's popularity is eroding, according to the latest poll from the Pew Research Center. It has dropped below 60%. You don't think that people are figuring out that this guy is not all that they thought he was going to be, do you?

This one has the turbos all hot and bothered .. Obama is in favor of federal health benefits for same-sex partners.

South Carolina will not be able to use the stimulus money to pay down debt, so Mark Sanford is going to call Obama's bluff and reject part of the stimulus money.

Is the White House prepared for the eventual bailout backlash?

The chairman of Wells Fargo is upset with the government for retroactively adding curbs to TARP funds and says that the administration's plan for stress-testing banks is "asinine."

Here's a pleasant surprise .. eight Democrats do not want for Obama's cap and trade bill to be included in the annual budget.

Did you know that state governments that contract jobs paid for with stimulus money will be required to pay workers on construction projects union wages rather than market rates?

    So, the EU wants to ban Mr. and Mrs. and Miss., Senior and Seniorita, and Frauline (?? My fav - my Alabama wife loves it when I call her that in certain circumstances ;-) because they are not sex-gender neutral.

    I suggest a new title be added to all the languages on earth. A title not limited to gender (or even language for that matter).

    Simply use the title "Yo." To address Mr. Boortz, you can use "Yo, Boortz". To address your brother or sister, you can use "Yo, Bro", or "Yo, Sis".

    To address the President, you no longer need "Mr. President." You can just shout-out "Yo! Barack!"

    You can even use "Yo" to address absolutely no one in particualr, or everyone in general, as when a crowd is gathered in front of a News Camera. Everyone can just shout "yo! yo! yo!", which is loosely interpreted as "Hey, everyone... look at me."

    "Yo!" is truly generic and we have a leg up already on implementation isues as I have it on good authority that the title is already in use amongst the youth of the country from Harlem to South Alabama.

  • Word Replacements
    After hearing that "man-made" shall be replaced with "artificial or synthetic", the first thing that came to mind was "man-made global warming". So, by decree of the EU, the phenomenon shall henceforth be referred to as "Artificial Global Warming". Who knew they could get it so right??

  • South Carolina - Very Smart Man
    From reading the article, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford is one of the smartest elected officials in the country. Interest payments on debt kill future spending and stifle your ability to spend on new and useful projects. By paying off debt he is ensuring that South Carolina will have money to spend for years to come, not just a one time boost.

    The fact that the Democrats are blocking this shows that they have no concept of money and how it is used.

    For those of you who don't understand:
    If someone gives you $20,000 for a car and you have a car that works, but you owe $15,000 on it and are paying $200 a month in interest on top of a $400 principle payment. If you instead pay off that debt first you increase your monthly income by $600 and save thousands on interest payments. Then if you are smart you save to buy the new car, with a fresh $5000 to start. If you then save for the new car you'll have more money to spend on it and you won't be strapped for cash from month to month if your budget was already tight.

    Putzes.

    Most European languages go out of their way to differentiate between genders. Every article has a gender, be it masculine, feminine, or neuter.

    And it makes no sense. A fork in Germany is masculine. A spoon is masculine. A knife is neuter. Go figure. That might explain the French, but not the Germans.

    In Germany every profession has two forms, masculine and feminine. Busfahrer is a male bus driver and Busfahrerin is a female bus driver. You can imagine the wanted ads get very long when recruiting.

    English is one of the cleaner, least sexist languages already. So they could all speak English. Odds of that happening? Well, better now that Obama is in office? Yeah, right.

    Already succumbing to the forces of the East, the nations within the EU will only accelerate their demise at the hands of a culture that laughs at, and beheads, this kind of weakness.

  • Stimulus Money
    If 82% of stimulus money is supposed to be used for schools and colleges just how is that helping the current economic situation. Also how is it a slap in the face of African Americans to reject the money. I thought it was for all Americans not just African Americans though some Democrats have as good as said so.
