What do economists think of Barack Obama and Timothy Geithner so far? A majority are dissatisfied. Yeah, that's a nice way to put it. Nothing like a willful tax cheat running the IRS.

Here's what Newt Gingrich has to say about this card check legislation that was introduced into Congress this week. If this stuff becomes law it is going to destroy countless businesses in this country.

The U.N. Secretary-General says that the United States is a "deadbeat" donor. That's fine. Then stop taking our money. See how you get along then. Really ... it's time to cut this insipid organization loose, but it certainly isn't going to happen with Obama in office.

The British government says that it is "unbelievably hard" to deal with the Barack Obama administration. I'm trying to hide my astonishment.

The Republicans weren't too happy about the idea of a second stimulus plan. The idea just sends little tingles down Nancy Pelosi legs however. Sorry .. didn't mean to put that image into your mind.

Meanwhile, only 27% of Americans say that they support a second stimulus package. Doesn't matter. There are votes out there to be bought.

Obama decided to downgrade the position of Drug Czar from a cabinet rank. That's something I can agree with, but guess who didn't agree with a move like this back in 1989? I'll give you a hint, nobody messes with Joe.

Barney Frank says that the $787 billion stimulus bill could have been 20% larger. And he also has some choice words for those evil Republican, capitalist policies.

This should make you feel all warm and fuzzy ... More than one out of every five dollars of the $126 million Massachusetts is receiving in earmarks from a $410 billion omnibus bill is going to help preserve the legacy of the Kennedys.

Florida wants to stimulate its economy by dismantling the agency that is in charge of managing growth. Does this mean that Florida wants to turn the private sector loose to do what it does so well?

A politician in Maine wants to make it mandatory to have a license in order to operate a canoe or kayak. If they don't license politicians in Maine, they ought not license paddlers.

How many government employees and tax dollars, does it take to study disposable coffee cups. Here's a program we really need.

Do you think that global warming is being hyped up by the mainstream media? An increased number of people seem to think so. People are starting to wise up.

How much tax revenue has Las Vegas has been lost thanks to comments by Barack Obama and other politicians critical of companies hosting business meetings or conventions in Vegas?

More and more people are lodging federal job discrimination complaints against private employers.

Florida Senator Mel Martinez is catching hell from the Barack Obama birth certificate crowd. They're called "Birthers," and their Internet headquarters can be found here.

Apparently New York Governor David Patterson has scrapped numerous tax hikes on consumer goods from the proposed state budget.

50% of Americans are just two paychecks away from having big financial problems.

First clue this guy is a moron? He leaves his door unlocked in San Francisco. More reasons in the article.

Hey, it's never too early to start planning your Halloween costume. I think she's missing 6 larger ones although I'm not sure there's space to strap them on. Remember folks, it's not a clown car.

What others are saying

  • Do you even read these stories?
You say: "The British government says that it is "unbelievably hard" to deal with the Barack Obama administration.". First of all, the "British government" didn't say anything. Second of all, British Cabinet Secretary Gus O'Donnell was not commenting on the Obama administration, but rather the way the U.S. government handles senior civil service appointments. More specifically, he was expressing strong opposition to the British implementing similar practices because they result in problematic transitions (which obviously suggests it isn't something unique to the current administration, or even something necessarily avoidable).
  • Homeschools Under Attack
I followed the link provided in the Mel Martinez story and it was WorldNetDaily.com and I was horrified to see that a judge in North Carolina has ordered three homeschool children to attend government schools.

Neal, this is the highest order of horsesqueeze - in what bizarro world are kids 'better off' when they are testing two grades above their grade level and are involved in groups outside the home to build social skills?

This cannot go by without shouting from the rooftops. Please please please bring this up on your show tomorrow - this is unlawful and a clear abuse of government power.
  • Drug Czar
Maybe the drug czar position was downgraded because the nominee is a tax cheat or an illegal drug distributor and would have a better chance of approval under the radar.
  • Las Vegas
The last time that I checked, Las Vegas was in Nevada, the home of that dynamic sentator, Harry Reid. How come Harry hasn't said or done anything to help the situation? Or would it be too difficult for him to remove his head from a part of PresBo?
  • Jobs Americans Don't Want
The liberal response to illegal aliens taking jobs away from people legally in this country has been that these were jobs Americans didn't want.

Given the economic situation today, and the ever growing ranks of the unemployed, I wonder how many of these "unwanted" jobs have become desirable now?
  • Global Warming?
Anything an actor says should be taken as FICTION! They recite their prepared lines when they are doing their overpaid jobs ... FICTION ...! When an actor says anything through the media, a teleprompter is being read ... oops ... maybe there are others ... never mind.
This is why they are called ACTORS.
People, scientist get paid to research things such as this ... NOT actors! The scientists say "global warming" is "meadow muffins."
  • Twitter Hobo
“Should I call the cops like you guys have recommended? Find a blunt object before opening the door? My gut tells me he's harmless.”

Seconds later his brains were spattered on his PC screen.

The real solution is to call the cops right away and warn them that they have ten minutes to get there before you make the intruder look like what Neal almost made his wetsuit look like.

And a combination of the Pelosi comment and Strange1's comment: "Ssstimulusss my precioussss!"
  • Taxing Politicians
What a great idea! Why not have a "progressive" tax on political offices. Take the total value of a Senate or Congressional seat -- salary, office & staff allowances, healthcare, travel, etc., and EARMARKS -- and tax it as income. Then, INCREASE the tax at the beginning of each successive term for that Congress critter. In other words, a freshman Congressman might only pay a 10 percent tax, but a fossilized relic like Robert Byrd might pay a 120 percent tax.

We not only raise revenue, but it might reduce some of the pork!

Even if we went to the FAIR TAX -- which we could only hope, it seems to me like a congressional earmark would be the equivalent of the first retail consumer sale -- after all, what they are buying is votes -- and you could include a tax on every representative who votes for the earmark.
  • Water Flow Restrictor
Heard you talking about it. I hate those things and have always taken them out. It's usually pretty easy, but the website below has an illustration.

    See Here:

  • Pelosi + Frank + Kennedy's + Global Warming
What Nancy felt running down her legs was probably something warm that emanated out of her twin orifices.
Barney should be the first to be investigated for the fraud in the Government.
The Kennedy family is a disgrace. Their patriarch was a womanizing bootlegger and Rose was either blind or stupid in letting him get away with all he did.
Global warming is the biggest scam that has ever been invented. A money making scheme for all those advocating it.
  • Nancy Pelosi Comment
Thanks a lot, Neal, for that mental image of Princess Pelosi. If you need me, i'll be in the kitchen trying to gouge out my eyes with a rusty spoon.
  • birthers
If these 'people' manage to advance their cause, what happens? Does Biden become President? Does the Constitution even speak about how to resolve this? Neal was speaking yesterday of the dangers of a constitutional convention and appointing delegates. Seems like this issue is as big as that problem. If the Clintons couldn't uncover this during the primaries, why do the Birthers think they will succeed? It's up to the nominating party to vet their candidate; would they now jump up and impeach their leader for being unqualified? These people need to sit down, and quit acting like fools.
  • Nancy Pelosi (body double for Lord of Rings Gollum)
".. The idea just sends little tingles down Nancy Pelosi legs however. Sorry .. didn't mean to put that image into your mind."

Thanks Neal, now I'll need a Brillo Pad to get it out.
  • U.N.
Hpw many years have we been screaming "GET US OUT OF THE U.N." ?
  • Tingles down Princess Pelosi's Legs
    I just lost my breakfast....
  • So we're "deadbeats" eh?
It's always been my belief that if you're going to take the rap for something, you might as well get the benefits of the crime. So I say we actually become "deadbeats" to the UN. After all, we've got better things to spend that money on, like building monuments to the Kennedys.
  • Global Warming
I absolutly agree that people are starting to see that most of global warming is a sham. My new question to tree huggers is how exactly countries plan on regulating all the carbon monoxide from volcanos... they tend to look perplexed.
