What others are saying

  • Twitter
I always thought Twitter was about idiots that were posting every little detail of their lives. And while that may be true for some people, there are a lot of us that are using it for different purposes. You can hear news faster than other sources, meet people you'd never otherwise get to talk to (I've met some fantastic people!), and help others. I'm part of a program called "TAP into CAREEREALISM" that helps job seekers by giving advice via Twitter. It's an amazing tool, but like other tools, there are wasteful and idiotic uses for anything!

I thought twitter was stupid too but the Republican Party has found it and is doing some amazing things with it....it's a tool and just up to creative people to figure out how to use it in a profitable way.

This is just proof that there should be a license to vote. In many parts of the country you are breaking the law if you cut hair or offer advice on what color your curtains should be without a government license. I understand that licensing requirements are simply a way of protecting incompetents in any given field, artificially inflating price for service and generating revenue for government entities, but here's my point...

Mandate a simple test for a license to vote. An example multiple choice question could be:

What are the three branches of government?
    A. Huey, Duey and Luey
    B. American Idol, Entertainment Tonight, The Evening News
    C. Judicial, Legislative, Executive
    D. Red, White, Blue

I'm quite serious with my distractors. The point isn't to make the test difficult. I can't imagine the Twits and their ilk actually taking the time to acquire a license to vote. Problem solved.

The ideal solution would be to have everyone's vote count in proportion to the tax they pay, but that will never fly.

  • Twits ....twitting
It's called 'twitting' for a reason.
    Only TWITS do it!

Check the definition of the word: "twit"
    2 : a silly annoying person : fool
    I rest my case.
  • Stupid
We are all becoming narcissists.(sp) How moronic. I don't want to twitter or tweet
  • Huh?
So TLDW, the video was too long, yet you took the time to write that the video was too long. Did it cut into your twitterring time.
  • TLDW
    Too long, didn't watch.
  • I'm a Twit
Of course, I Twittered this link.
  • Twits
Love the video. I don't have a cell phone, and I am thankful for that fact. Facebook fills up my addictions nicely as it is. Funny stuff!
  • Great Video!!!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who thinks Facebook and Twitter are moronic. As I see it it's the next logical progression for those people who can't have a thought come into their heads that they don't feel compelled to express. First they did it in person, then came cellphones now it's Twitter. The good thing about Twitter is that if you don't care to read it, you can avoid it - unlike the morons who have cellphones glued to their ears and can't resist yammering on in public places.
  • TWITS
I didn't know what twitter was, and now I know I don't want to. Better things to waste time... on like this site.
  • Twits
God, I think I've met most of these no life morons. this gave me a good laugh, thanks Neal
