America needs healthcare reform because as an industrialized nation, we have 20% of our populace without healthcare coverage.

Sadly Ivan I believe you are right, as "crazy" as it sounds. Many people when informed of a situation like this one would simply say "RFID chips will never happen the government wouldnt do it"... Guess what? They will.. If our economy continues this downward spiral, gas prices go back up, and the average cost of living goes up, combined with unemployment then who will we be left to turn to but The United States Government for handouts. And once the value of the dollar is run into the dirt and these foreign nations who have our debt say we are insolvent, the only way we will be able to purchase is on a new credit system or RFID chips. And if you refuse, you're a heretic and will probably be labeled a "terrorist." The dollar is just worthless paper, it only has value because we have faith that it does. But computerized credit is absolute.

Has anyone else noticed this? It appears when the Democrats and RINOs want to spend billions (now trillions) on their vote-buying schemes. they call it "federal money," belonging to the government. However, when they want to unconsitutionally steal bonuses and stir up anger, they call it "taxpayer" money that they will "recover" for the taxpayers. Funny how that works.

Wealth is created when somone designs, creates, mines, grows, or catches something someone else wants. Period. Wealth is not created by government presses or Wall Street, or the CBOT. For you democrats out there, think what it was like 10,000 years ago. A fisherman catches a fish. You are hungry and trade an arrowhead for it. Money was created to act in lieu of goods. Government confiscates wealth by confiscating money, which represents the efforts of those who actually created the wealth.
Capitalism is simple to understand. Politicians make it complicated in order to steal.

The government has a very twisted notion of competition. A private enterprise is expected to compete directly with a government subsidized one. The taxpayers ultimately pay the cost of the subsidy so everyone loses but its already game over. Fannie Mae ruined the private mortgage and banking industry and Obamalosi will destroy the private health care industry.

And for the health care controversy... why is nobody talking about 10% we all pay for workers compensation coverage? Look into this scam, run by bureaucrats, scam doctors and lawyers.

She is wicked and pandering. This "logic" of hers could be applied to any commodity. But since the government has the ability to steal from a few to give to others; without personal retribution (she is using "government" as the conduit to stealing our assets) allows hollow people to act in this fashion. If there were some personal accountability; people like her would stand trial.

Neal, you can be upset about it, and rightfully so, but you should at least acknowledge this... Our government is structured so that the representatives we elect, no matter how inept, are the voices of the people. In this case, the majority of people prefer the platform of the Democrats, and a single-payer healthcare system is part of that package deal. You and I are in the minority now. We can be cranky about it, but at some point you have to accept that when you are in the minority, more things are going to happen that you disagree with. Until a true third party becomes viable, we're going to have to choose between two big government parties. The Dems push a single-payer healthcare plan, but the Republicans push these assisted drug programs, wars on drugs (and other nouns) and the funding of an empire, all of which are not remotely encouraged in the Constitution. There is no lesser-evil, we've got the choice between two bowls of sh!t when we go into the election booth. My suggestion, keep pushing the Fair Tax, encourage a viable third party, and just hang on for the ride.

You often say that (pick your favorite leftist) thinks that the USA is great because of government. First, they do not think we are great. Second, when they do have flashes of reality creep into their multi-cultural fantasy world, they simply tell themselves that we were greedy. The only conclusion that seems to hold up is that they hate this country and want to destroy it.

Nancy Pelosi is many vile things, but she is not stupid. What she understands is that her constituents are cowards. They are afraid to be free, and will ignore her lies and corruption because she promises to take care of them.
