Lo There..2 things please,I listen to you, Rush (at times), Hannity, and Michael Savage...you all have one thing in common...your "ego" each one of you thinks you're better than the other, and don't care to mention anything positive about the other...I appreciate all of you except for your habit of interrupting people when they call and try to present their case..#2 I await the day when I turn you on and the first thing I hear is a loud slap followed by a loud crash...both stemming from Belinda knocking you and your foul mouth and sexual innuendos plumb across the studio..I don't care if she cusses like a sailor herself...she's still a lady and you should respect her as such ...sooo my friend..have a good day ya heah..Bj

(That's rich .. he signs his email "BJ" and nails me for sexual innuendos. By the way, that's the name of Italy's number one selling suppository --- in case you didn't know.)

Neal, do you ever read the comments left on your site? If you do, I can't believe that you're happy with the quality of right wing hate that you've generated. To read these, one would think that Bush had nothing to do with the circumstances this country finds itself in today, and that President Obama has caused every last hardship we are enduring. And, I'm just sure that most of the ones saying "Well, because you Liberals elected Obama, I'm not going to hire as many people, and none of them will be Democrats." Can't you just see the person that wrote that? Some person sitting at home (with no job) making up stories to make himself feel better than - oh I don't know - Anyone he can find, since he's such a loser. I would be ashamed of myself if I contributed to the hate and bashing that you do. You used to seem to have a conscience. Where did that go? Money is more important to you than principles and honesty, I guess. I feel sorry for you and your wife. I hope things get better for you. Again - this is from a graduate of private schools who completely disagrees with you.

Well ... Miss Patty. I've said this before: If Obama's tax increases on America's small businesses cause them to have to lay off people, it would only be right for the employees who voted for this disaster to be some of the first to go. What better way to teach people that actions have consequences. By the way ... how plebian of you to use the "right wing hate" nonsense. To leftists such as yourself any expression of conservative thought is, by definition, "hate." That's pretty weak, don't you think?

What others are saying

  • Belinda
Funny. I agree with the first email. Belinda doesn't seem to deserve that kinda tacky treatment.

Unless she gives it right back to you off-mike. Still makes me uncomfortable, tho.
  • A few points
To Todd: Actually, I think Neal would support your decision to lay off all the conservatives you wanted. He might think it a bad idea (it is) but he would agree with your right to do it. It's called Freedom of Association, and you have it.
Personally, I find the use of the title 'liberal' to be the single greatest case of irony in the modern world. Anyone who calls themselves a Liberal is almost certainly not.
  • Bob Johnson
Along with the advent of email, came the advent of misspelling, poor grammar, and a myriad of other failings. You can usually tell the level of intelligence of a person by the way they speak and write.
If you have the IQ of a Mensa candidate but speak or write like a gang thug or a hee-haw bubba, people will not take you seriously.
For future reference, an ellipsis is not the same as a period.
  • @shmoe/chuck
It's clear you do not grasp his point -- or mine -- so let me help you out, shmoe. Chuck is trying to play the victim card. In poor little Chuckie's world, only liberals hate while conservatives sit calmly making valid points. How ignorant do you have to be to believe that rubbish?

And you tossing in the word childish? Getting a little worked up? Emotional? Careful or Chuck may blow a gasket.

It happens on both sides. Look at your boy LiberalHater for example. It's such a tired trick to claim sole possession of being victims of this so-called hate. Neal loves trotting that one out there and you and Chuck just eat it up. THE LEFT hates us noble conservatives but we soldier on anyway.

It's lazy and untrue. Much like you, it goes both ways.

Chuck -- It's your argument that has no logic. Take the advice you so eagerly dispense and set your bias aside for a moment. A few unfounded claims yes, logic no.
  • Re: Chuck
Sorry to the reader/commenter, Gavin, there is no reason for me to 'swap' my words. The problem with liberal arguments is that liberals almost never bother to use logic and reasoning, much less fact, to make a point. They lose because the emotion based stuff just doesn't carry any weight. So no, Neighbor, I won't be swapping any words or terms, do that for yourself. I grew up in Democrat household and realized once I was on my own and started making my own opportunities and my own'luck' that it wasn't because I was more fortunate than others, it was because I was more motivated and more focused. I also happened to discover that Democrats tended to forget about the individual freedoms that matter the most, instead they were trying to legislate fairness and punish achievement. No comparison you might try to make will hold water there. Sorry, nice try. You can join us at the grown up table when you finish your Spaghettios.
  • @Todd
Your argument holds no water. YOU are NOT the owner. My guess is YOU are a LIBERAL and YOUR boss (THE OWNER)is not.
  • Neal's response
So good old Neal thinks it is perfectly acceptable to lay off liberals simply because they voted "for this" and elections have consequences? So if we start hiring and firing based on whether we indiviudally agree with the persons politics then I guess Neal would be okay with me firing all conservatives on my staff? Let's see...I don't own the company but I have around 71 that work under me. IF I went through and fired 25 conservatives right now because I felt they were opposing the "correct" side of a political argument, and chance Neal would back me up? Soemthing tells me the answer is no.
  • Patty...
Patty admonishes you in her hate mail about the "hate" left on your comment boards, and then blames you for fostering it.
Truth is, you are dead on correct - to a liberal, any display of conservative beliefs is hate. I'd like to know if Patty has written angry mail to DailyKos or the huffington post regarding the hatred allowed and spread there.
Truth is, those sites have openly hateful messages written by the thousands, some by their own columnists.
I love it when hypocrisy is held up to the light, and I thank Patty for helping expose it for us.
Did Patty object to the liberal throngs making noise so people couldn't listen to the state of the union addresses when Bush was President? Did she object to the "Buck Fush" bumper stickers? How about the bumper stickers that say "Save America, impeach Bush"? How about the constant noise from Congress about how Bush, while a sitting President, is "retarded" "stupid" a "moron" or a "criminal"? Nah. Patty was there applauding or ignoring everything.
I'm starting to realize that many die hard liberals are huge hypocrites.
Like the guy who found out I supported the war in Iraq who asked me if I had ever served. When I said that I hadn't, but that I didn't NEED to serve to have an opinion, he laughed at me, then launched into an attack on the war, saying we should withdraw immediately. So I asked him if he served. When he said no, I asked him why his opinion was any better than mine. Stunned silence led to some nonsense about a war for oil or some such nonsense.
Liberal ideology is a house of cards - remove one with logic and fact and it is reduced to simplistic emotion.
  • @Gavin
I do believe your most recent childish post just drove home Chucks entire point. I envy your intelligence.
  • Patty no doubt...
suffers from the mental illness known as Bush Derangement Syndrome.

If TOTUS (Teleprompter Of The United States) told Patty to jump off a bridge "for the common good", I have no doubt in my mind she would.

I'm surprised these statists like Patty haven't come up with a salute to their dear leader yet...
  • Radio Hosts and BJ
Unfortunately I have to agree at least in part with BJ. I have noticed that American talk shows seem to be hosted almost exclusively by people who can't let people get a word in edgewise, with few exceptions. Almost all of them are constantly interrupting and rarely let the caller (especially if it's an opposing POV) to finish a complete sentence. Bill O'Reilly is by far the worst. I have yet to see a single guest on his TV show (even those he agrees with!) ever get to actually finish a sentence. Often, when the lib DOES try to actuially explain their "rationalle" the host just cutrs them off, it's like they are afraid of the answer. That';s not the way to debate, and lakes the host look bad, like a bully, not thoughtful.

Yeah I can't stand the libs either, but just once iun a while I'd like to see them put forth their arguement fully and THEN see the conservative host trash their insipid "ideas". That'd be mopre entertaining too. It's just too annoying when people aren't allowed to finish a thought.
  • Conservatives are the new liberals
It has suddenly occurred to me that as a conservative I am far more liberal and accepting than most liberals. Conservatives stand for free choice, and seek to uphold the American right to subscribe to any view one pleases. Liberals today stand for the freedom to agree with their view of the world, or be subject to intense ridicule - how loving and accepting.
  • Patty
Patty - You talk about principles and honesty. If you are lining up to the government trough for a handout, are you not a thief. You're not sticking a gun to the an achiever, but you are using a middle man to do your dirty work, the government. Who is John Galt?
  • By Chuck @ 03/25/09 08:54:37 AM
I agree with the idea present in your post but I would change the word "Left" to "Right" and swap every instance of the words "liberal" and "conservative."

Other than that minor change, you're ready for the big leagues, son!
  • Patty
Patty you are truely Lillian Rearden incarnate, almost verbatum. That isn't a compliment.
  • Dear Patty...
"Some person sitting at home (with no job) making up stories to make himself feel better than - oh I don't know - Anyone he can find, since he's such a loser."

Patty, I'm typing this from my $60k/year job. Guess what? I got laid off TWICE last year, lost my house, and had to relocate 800 miles -- ALL WITHOUT GOING TO THE GOVERNMENT FOR HELP. During these past few months I didn't miss a single mortgage payment, car payment, utility bill, etc.

Does that make me a loser? Hell no.

I think someone who loses their $7/hr job at 7-11 and immediately starts demanding the government pay their mortgage and car payment is a loser. People who place their own responisiblity in the hands of the all-giving all-powerful government.

Grow up, Patty, and open your eyes to the real world and what's going on.
  • Patty is naive
    Patty
Before you attack Neal and other conservatives about their hatred, let's look at the past 8 years and how the liberals such as Franken, Huffington, Pelosi and Olberman treated President Bush. I gues it was just convenient to forget about how liberals treat conservatives in power. Actually, Neal has the cajones to criticize republicans and democrats alike. As far as jobs go, since libs hate corporate America and believe that the government will take care of them, let the government take care of them. As a n independent, I don't hate Reps and Dems, but I believe the Dems to be less well informed because they get all their info from just one side and don't research the issues from both sides. Wise up Patty.
  • Patty
Every time I hit a blog here or in another site normal people are generally called "right wingers". By saying "normal" I mean people that actually have a clue what's going on in the world. I suppose I'd rather be called a right winger than a Liberal, Marxist moon bat.
  • Patty
You don't read very carefully here or you would hear LOTS of criticism about Bush. At the same time some of us are just tired of the left using Bush as a reason to totally screw this nation! It's a case of two wrongs not making a right. Pay attention!
  • What have we learned here?
Well, from reading the offerings served up by Mr. Johnson and Ms.Patty, Neal has a larger following on the Left than I ever imagined. A real love/hate realtionship, I'd say. The point being, yeah, you might find the host saying some inflammatory things at times but you still listen, dontcha? As for those of us who write in, excuse me, but why is it okay for liberals to write the things they do in Huffington and Daily Kos and it's accepted and even considered chic. But God forbid a conservative express a strong opinion 'cause that's 'mean spirited' and 'hateful'! Look up double standard in the dictionary, read the definition, then put your liberal bias aside for a moment. Does anything about that term stand out? Or does it fly right over your head and go on to the next victim? There are some valid points to be made by people who I disagree with, and I don't get uptight if they speak their minds. I know they believe they're right and that's fine. That's the biggest difference between liberals and conservatives, most of us don't don't act as if someone wee-wee'd in our cornflakes when we hear a different opinion.
  • Patty
Patty was spot on in my opinion. Especially about Neal's obsession with money.
  • Economy
What about the Dot-Com bust that Clinton gave to Bush? Bush never blamed Clinton for the trillion dollar loses that Clinton was surely responsible for. And he kept a growing economy and had steady job growth (7 million new jobs in the private sector.) Then allong came the Democrat congress two years ago and started throwing jobs away by doing things like raising the minimum wage. In the three month right after the new minimum wage hike over three million people lost their jobs. That is how democrats define success. So naturally we are afraid of what the Karaoke president is doing next after he has raised the deficit by ten times over what he inherited from Bush. No O'mama did not inherit the deficit, he authored it.
