What others are saying

  • I laughed pretty hard!
Gotta love it. I can totally see myself doing the same thing in those situations.

Which one of us hasn't ever dropped something that's been handed to us? Who's never pushed on a "pull" door?
  • Obama off limits?
For all the people saying how Dave (and others) won't make fun of Obama, did you not watch the video immediately preceeding this one?
  • How was W elected?
With a majority, something Clinton never managed.

He even had a larger margin the second time around against a better candidate.
  • Bush moments
Like him or not, these are funny!
Sadly, the media and comedians will NOT make fun of the "chOsen One." We will see PC behavior like never before!
  • Not the funniest
I hope that's true Jessica. I am afraid, however, that political correctness is going to rear its ugly head. Clinton could be made fun of because he's a white hillbilly. Republicans are always fair game. But now we've got a (gasp!) Black President. I'm sure we'll need to "elevate the national discourse" or whatever.
  • Not the funniest
Although the spitting thing was kind of funny. But Dave's been around a long, long time (probably about 10 years too long), and although he has definitely made his negative opinion of Bush known, he has always been an equal opportunity comedian. I know Bush was unfairly reviled in the media, but he is a politician and Dave is a late night talk show host - it's his job to make fun of our nation's president. And I think that's a good thing. We have to be able to laugh at our "leaders". I have faith that Dave will find plenty to mock in our new one.
  • Stan GayBull
It is pretty easy to see why, Stan, if you use that idiot brain of yours. Get your face out of Obama's lap long enough to pay attention to what people like you are doing to the country and you'll see why he was elected for two full terms. Moron.
  • letterman
Letterman is never funny, never was never will be, Now Alfred E Neuman AKA Obama is a funny guy, It will not be too long before some of his screw ups give us a good laugh, if we can still can. Just shows you how stupid Americans have become.
  • Elitism
Henry Ford was often ridiculed for similar slip ups and not knowing "trivial knowledge".

I'm glad that we still underestimate others based on stupid phrases or mistakes. It makes it easier for them to overtake you because you don't expect them to do brilliant things.
  • Imagine the scrutiny
There will be very few goofs show of the next prez. The reason... those that take a chance, will be considered racist, bigots, hate speech, neo-cons, etc. Democrat are the biggest offenders of double standards. Wait'n'see
  • Neo-Chekists
Have a laugh while you still can, brain dead socialists.
Odds are the Fresh prince of Bill Ayers won't like that kind of thing.
Dave will receive a visit from Agent Zero's Chekists in the middle of the night to 'splain himself.
  • How
How in the world did he get elected president? And republicans seriously wonder why the dems are taking over
  • Lame
That was the funniest clips they could find? If any one in the world had a camera on them as much as he has the past 8 years there would have been hours of hilarity. Bush plays stuff off better than most could.
  • making fun of Bush
I do wonder what all these elitists are going to do for entertainment after Bush.
  • Pretty funny...
Even as a fan of Bush, that stuff is pretty funny. When you have cameras on you that often, you're bound to get some of those. I just hope Dave treats Obama with the same respect.
  • David Letterman
The guy is such a geek. He's the guy we tormented on the playground because he is such a spaz!!! Can't stand to even look at the guy never mind listen to him!! Just my opinion!!!
  • Lettermans top 10
Get your shots in now Dave cause 10-1 you wont do anything if Obama messes up
  • The end of an era...
Ah, President Goofus, we will miss you...
