Neal is off at a "dental appointment" this morning, so Herman Cain has graciously agreed to keep you informed and entertained today. Neal will be back tomorrow with interesting tales to tell, I'm sure.

    Let's start with telling 'em how we feel about confirming an acknowledged tax cheat as our next treasury secretary. Not only did this guy not pay his taxes, but he took money from his employer to pay his taxes. i can understand signing something and not reading the fine print, but when you get a check, that gets your attention, no matter what size.

  • This "dental appointment"
    I distinctly heard Neal Monday a week ago, reading some supposed "email" he received, he got to some part about keeping it private until afterward, then all of a sudden saying "Woops, um ... I just made up all of that, it's not real, there's nothing to it, I'm just trying to act like I'm a big shot, bla bla bla..."

    I wonder if he bought a new suit for this "dental appointment," or if he still has the suit he had to suddenly buy when he was on vacation about a year ago and got a call for his last "dental appointment" in DC.

    I wonder if he'll be asked "Glad you could come, Mr. Boortz, I gotta be outta here in a few days, could you help me load these boxes into this moving van?"

  • "Dentist Appointment"
    As I was listening to Re-Boortz late, late last night (or way early this morning) I heard Neal state that he was going to be in Washington last night and that Jamie Dupree was taking him to dinner.

    I am speculating that since Neal had "Dentist Appointment" in quotes was to imply he wasn't really going to be at the dentist, but perhaps another trip to the Oval Office before Dubya leaves.

    Or maybe he is actually in a secret meeting with PEBO, which would be like pulling teeth to get straight answers.

    The cards, that we send to Washington D.C.could contain a pledge to support your Repersentive, with a donation for his reelection, if he supports the peoples "Take Back Goverment", Tax bracks, Etc. Let them know that the people who, he/she, that they are repersentiving, can be lobbyist to, more powerful than any Washington lobbyists, we can dicided his furture by the power of the vote. We can make him become a adverage Joe/Jill. He can join us in become, just another vote, in sending his replacement to Washington.

    Dear The Truth - "dental appointment" is in quotes. From that, we are to infer he's not at a dental appointment, but some place he cannot reveal until a later time. Pay attention, would you?

    Funny comments. I wonder if these people actually listen to the show. "The Truth" (appropriately quoted I believe) should listen to the show sometimes. Or possibly get the whole story before flying off half-cocked.

  • Good Grief
    It must be nice to have a dentist appointment and get the ENTIRE day off from work.

    Neal, you constantly rail against the losers who work 40-hour weeks; however, your work schedule even tops a typical Frenchman. For Pete's sake, there is barely a week that goes by that you are not off at least one day on vacation. Pierre and Maurice in Paris would be envious.

    Quick Comparison: Neal is on air from 8:30am - 1pm. 4.5 hrs x 5 days = 22.5 hr work week. I know, I know, there is prep time needed for the show. However, what does that prep time include???.....Reading news and columns, the same thing most of use informed citizens do anyways on top of our 40+ work week. Let's give him 3 hours of prep a day, that is very generous given that that is nearly 1 hr of prep for each hr of on air time. That is a total of 37.5 hrs a week the Frenchman Neal Boortz works!!
