The slumping economy has taken its toll on troop support and donation programs. According to MOM 4R MARINES founder Patty Lewis, the number of  donations  and packages being sent to the troops has fallen to an all-time low, while the number of homesick Marines and sailors  hoping to receive a package is at an all-time high, especially while deployed in the cold mountains of Afghanistan over the holidays. We must send them our support! Please help make this happen for a group of 1500 wonderful, fearless warriors living without any normal amenities. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! NOW!     I still stand by my comments, lip service patriots is all the republican party has done for the past 8 years, with their chicken hawk commander in chief, and his second in command chicken hawk number 2, you call it anyway you like, I honor those who have served, are serving, but will not vote for or give any honor to those who pay lip service to patriotism, by dodging duty with hiding out in national guard, awol half the time there, getting college deferrments, fake knee injuries, etc, etc, I saw real patriots, real heros, trying to serve, and real veterans do not honor chicken hawks!

    Only a liberal can take a worthwhile cause such as this and turn it into a negitive. It shows the true class they hold as Leatherneck speaks for a majority of the Dems out there with his hateful and uneducated speech. I as a Vet also am discusted with the left hating the military and the freedoms they fight for every day for us and for the world.

    Please support our troops(thats also means funding them leatherneck) as these gifts mean so much when your a world away from home.

  • hypocrite is all I can think of!
    I find it really a true example of a hypocrite to pretend you care about military, veterans, but cheer for a chicken hawk draft dodging vietnam era Chambliss, whom won a seat from a real decorated, crippled, vietnam war veteran, guess it really does not matter as long as the candidate has a "R" in front of his name! It is truly rich to see the right pay lip service to our veterans, as a veteran I am disgusted with the chicken hawk patriotism played on the right wing chorus line, no political party has the corner on patriotism, but the republicans have made it a game, hypocrisy to get elected, and what is truly disgusting is they talk a good game but are short on the gonads to back it up!

  • You helped me once and I shal return the favor
    Once you reach out to me for being suspended from work for listening to your show at work in Florida.

    Each time you bring up a worthy cause i take time out to figure it in my budget and give the same amount $100.00 dollars.

    This will be no different and even if I can't make through on your phone lines the reeducation of what I learn from since I started listening in 2001..

    have made me a better person for it.
