Depends on who you're married to. I mean, if she can't stand my ass, I'm as good as dead. Yes, the living would take priority over the unborn, however...I would not ask for that to be the case, because I am a man and I can take dying. This is where belief comes into play. I am a Christian, I know what happens after the body is shed. But if it were me (by some freak genetic venture) and I were carrying a child, yes I would abort to save the life of my wife. I don't think God looks upon that as a sin, and if He did I would repent. I do believe the abortion debate is nothing more than an argument over religion. But then again...

What if you have an infant, and are pregnant again? The infant needs something to live and that something (stem cells) is inside your womb. To get them the baby in the womb will have to be aborted. Save the life of one and take the life of the other. Damned either way.

I do believe that for the most part, no matter how you look at it, abortion is sad. It says a great deal about how irresponsible we are. I have seen people that have the children and think how terrible it is that the kids live in that situation (crackheads). Maybe they should not have been born.

Instead of the ridiculous legislation involving DFACS maybe we should make a law: If you want to have a child the government gives you a puppy. A caseworker comes by one year later. If that puppy is still alive, not tied to a tree in front of a trailer, has shelter, food and water, adequate health care, you may have a child. I'm sick of answering domestics in trailer parks and seeing five year olds walking around in diapers because nobody took the time to potty train them, but found time to go to Circle K for beer and cigarettes.
