I listened with a great deal of sadness in my heart your take on a particular abortion situation.
I think your entire premise is incorrect. What is the purpose of marriage? You seem to think that kids aren't the main part of the equation, many others do. Once that first kid pops out, their lives are changed forever. For those that don't want kids, a permanent solution can be obtained.
My wife and I have been trying to have a kid for two years without success. If I as a father had to choose between myself and my child, regardless of their stage of development, I would not selfishly sacrifice one life just for my own. Especially if my actions were the cause of my health. In fact, I would submit that lives given freely to save other lives or in order to not take other lives is the most noble way to go. Wouldn't you say that of our soldiers in Iraq giving their lives for our freedom?
As far as the woman ending up a crack whore because her spouse died, that would be quite a loser wife. It would also be a loser husband, because he didn't take the steps while alive to secure his family's future if something happened to him.
Miss your show in Salina, Kansas, but it's great that your show is online! I even get to listen to you longer now (although sometimes I have to "change" the station because I'm p.o.'ed)
