Of Course they want to get the job done

Does it really surprise you to hear US servicemen in Iraq plead to stay until the "jobs done right"? Considering the sacrifices which have been made no soldier wants to leave Iraq with the feeling of a "failed mission". It's part of their psychic(sp?), and not to be confused with "Their opinion matters MORE because they're on the ground". I know a handful of soldiers (officers) who lay the blame on squarely on GWB for the half-@ssed planning of this operation. Sure the JCOS issues orders, but lets not be so naive that they weren't influenced by SecDef and POTUS regarding the mission parameters.

GWB when on a poorly planned country buidling trip w/out sufficient $ or man-power to get the job done right. Now, he's worrying about his legacy (ala Clinton), and is willing to put more troops in harms way until his the next POTUS moves into the Oval Office.

If you want to stop Islamic terrorists, bomb the hell out of Saudia Arabia and Pakistan.

There's no middle ground on this Boortz. Both the GOP and the Dems f--cked this up royaly.
