For the most part I don't see Christians forcing themselves on others at the point of a gun. <br> <br> The Irish conflict was about more than just religion, it's about the ability to govern oneself, more closely aligned with the states issues during our Civil War. They just happen to have started out being split along religious lines. Mostly because one religion was loyal to England and the other wasn't. Yes, you can go back even further and find more of a religious bent, but really it has evolved and lessons have been learned.
