Obama will never defeat conservatism, however it is under attack from the extreme right of the Republican party that I have started to call the Talk Radio faction.<br> <br> Two days ago I prepared a proposed idea of what the party's platform should look like. I then showed this to a number of people I know who are rabid Rush followers. <br> <br> Needless to say they tore the platform idea to shreds throwing out all kinds of rhetoric and several even said that they could not support it because Rush never would. Then I hit them with the big suprise.<br> <br> I used ONE source for developing the platform idea: the first book written by, guess who?, Rush Limbaugh.<br> <br> I think this is another illustration of how radical the extreme is getting and how even Rush has changed from a conservative spokesperson to an extremist wannabe poltical boss who enjoys too much deferece by party officials.<br> <br> Conservatism doesn't have anything to fear from its political enemies, it is conservatism's alleged friends that pose the biggest threat.
