This is why I could never be a libertarian, and it's the reason why I usually end up tuning Boortz out. The purpose of the U.S. government is to provide for the common defense. I realize it's a popular position these days to consider unborn children as sub-humans or inhumans, but I consider them human beings, and I believe it's the responsibility of the government to protect them from those who wish to harm them, or to avenge them when they are harmed.<br> <br> If we can't protect the most helpless, then we don't deserve to survive ourselves.
