The top 1% are not *taking* 23% of the income, they are EARNING it. If you got off your a** and worked to achieve something, you could earn that much also. Why should those people who work so hard to get where they are give any of their money to you? You may work hard, but if you are only qualified to work as a cashier in a grocery store, then you are only able to earn up to a certain amount, no matter how hard you work at that job. You have to work hard to get yourself qualified for a high-paying job and then work hard at that to earn a lot of money. There are no shortcuts.
