This is about the law of supply and demand. The world demanded an entertainer like MJ and Joe Jackson supplied the world with one.<br> <br> Michael Jackson was dumb as a brick for sure. Celebrity worship is even dumber.<br> <br> But any old scarecrow with a brain of straw will recognize that MJ was an exceptional talent. Only a few will remember him as such. That is sad indeed.<br> <br> If Michael molested a child he deserved to go to jail. But, I wonder if Boortz or anyone else would have been so harsh on MJ if he died on June 25th in a prison cell? Many people lecture about a loss in perspective. I think the loss in perspective goes both ways. <br> <br> Are there more important things than MJ? Yes. That does not negate the fact that Michael Jackson was important. <br> <br> Michael Jackson wowed other super talents like Fred Astaire. Anyone who knows entertainment knows that MJ was one of the most incredible entertainers who ever lived. It just so happened that he was also one of the stupidest. Therefore, I will choose to lament the fact that we have lost one of the greatest entertainers who ever lived, and mourn the fact that he did not die in prison.
