I agree with Big Africa. Michael was a huge musical talent. No sense arguing that. He had a positive impact on music and pop culture...for a while. Heck, I think I even have Thriller. He did, however, have some freaky lifestyle habits, some of which were less than role-model quality. Look back and remember him for his music or not. None the less, that public display out in California was ridiculous! Give me a break! If I was tying to get home during that display and they blocked off an already packed freeway, I'd have been pi$$ed !! And California has the nerve to ask for donations to pay the cops overtime for that??? As for all those crying about Michael changing thier lives..ok. Get a grip. I would set your life standards a bit higher if I were you...it's just music. It's not like he paid your mortgage or bills....that's Obama's job.
