The US spends more than any other nation in world on healthcare, yet the US is only ranked at country #42 for the life expectancy of its citizens.<br> <br> And if socialized medicine is so bad, why aren't any of the nations that have it switching back to a privatized system? Not one of them is. <br> <br> Sure, private clinics exist in other countries as an alternative, but there isn't any serious movement in any country with socialized healthcare to change back to privatized care. <br> <br> And just 5 years ago the citizens of Canada voted Tommy Douglas "The Greatest Canadian" of all time. And what is Tommy Douglas famous for? He created the universal healthcare system in Canada.
