If you suspect that the economy in your area is improving, go have dinner at Appleby's. If you get good service, the economy is not recovering. If a semi-literate, borderline mentally challenged recent high school graduate screws up your order and neglects to refill you soft drinks, then it means that all the smart people have regained decent jobs and the local economy is doing well.
