One other thing I forgot to add - should Obama try anything similar here in the U.S., about half of all citizens own guns and could form an army 150 million strong to stop him if necessary. We also would regard any attempt to disarm the citizenry as the treason that such an act would be. And the penalty for treason is death. Events in Iran, and now Honduras, serve as reminders for us exactly why a widely armed citizenry is a major defense against tyranny.
