Has anyone thought about what would actually happen if Obama ran for an unconstitutional third term in 2016? Assume that the Messiah is as, or even more, popular than he is now. Assume that SCOTUS overturns campaign finance laws, thus government owned/ controlled corporations are funding his campaign to the tune of a 100 billion dollars, and no one can compete with him. He wins the nomination by acclamation. He wins a 47 state landslide. The only place he could be stopped is when the Democratic Congress counts the electoral votes and certifies the winner. If he passed that hurdle and got inaugurated a third time, the Supreme Court could not stop him. No one would have "standing". A military coup might be necessary to stop a dictatorship.
